As a spaniard, I have to say that traditional gazpacho is made with tomato, cucumber, green pepper, onion, extra virgin olive oil, bread, garlic, salt and vinegar (some add spices like cumin or pepper). Of course, all this without cooking. It is a traditional cold soup from the region of Andalusia, a place where it is hot (but very hot) in summer. Although its main ingredient is tomatoes, it really wasn't until the 19th century. Gazpacho has its roots in a hot Ibero-Roman soup (the "caccabaceus"), and has varieties such as "Ajoblanco" (bread, almonds, garlic, oil, vinegar and water) or "salmorejo" (bread, garlic, olive oil and tomato, with shavings of serrano ham). It is a food highly praised by nutritionists and perfect for vegan diets, due to its high nutritional content, rich in vitamins (A, C, E), minerals (potassium, magnesium), and antioxidants that are essential for good health; be low in calories; lack animal ingredients; be a source of antioxidants (such as lycopene in tomatoes) and healthy fats (such as olive oil); It is easy to prepare and easy to preserve (it lasts several days in the refrigerator without problems) and is enormously versatile, and can be added from fruits such as melon to other vegetables such as pumpkin.
I tried an interesting twist while in Indy... at least that's how the waiters explained it; kind of like a clam chowder, but with lobster instead of clams, and topped with freshly chopped chives. It was absolutely delicious!
Hey, I love that you have tried Gazpacho from my country. It's made out of tomato, green capsicum, cucumber, garlic, vinegar, and olive oil. Just take all the fresh ingredients and put them into a blender. Some people also add some bread. I usually don't add bread or garlic. The sweet flavour depends on the variety of olive oil used to make it. Some varieties are sweeter and other ones are more spicy. I prefer the spicy ones. Remember to always use Extra Virgin Olive Oil when you are going to cook a Spanish dish, it makes such a HUGE difference in flavour and it's the only way you can get the real Spanish food's flavour
@ComtesseRochefort I'm not a native English speaker, so maybe I didn't use the correct word, but especially the Picual variety or some olive oil from small "almazaras" (the place where olive oil is extracted) is notably strong in spiciness or pepperiness, let's say the more traditional or "countryside" can be kind of spicy, at least the one from my area (southern Salamanca province)
@TheChefmike66 As a Spaniard, I would say that Gazpacho is meant to be an acid soup to fight against the heat, rather than sweet, because a sweet soup wouldn't refresh you as much as Gazpacho does. And, for me, what makes the difference in flavour is the olive oil. That's the key ingredient, which makes it so special. So, depending on the variety of olive oil you use, you can get different flavours. But, to be honest, you can also get some flavour nuances depending on the tomato, the capsicum, and the vinegar you use. The best tomato for making Gazpacho is plum tomato because it has much pulp. This type of tomato is not so acid, so it can give some sweet nuances. I always use Italian pepper/capsicum (at least is its name in Spain), which is longer and narrower, and I would also say that swetter. And the best vinegar is Xerry's vinegar, but you can use lighter vinegars if you don't want such a strong acid flavour I never use garlic as I don't like garlic at all
We took my dad out to a Japanese restaurant so he could try something different and so he could watch the food being prepared. After many tricks, the plate was served to my dad by this master chef. My dad looks down and says “where’s the bread “?

I’ll always remember this incredible bowl of clam chowder that I got once out on some pier shack restaurant in Pacifica, CA, while cruising along the coast. 🌊 One of the best I’ve had, and the terroir was perfect, right at the source. Peel the cucumber and cut all the ingredients into large pieces to make blending easier. Prepare the melon: Peel the melon, remove the seeds and cut it into pieces. (75) Pretty dirty trick giving them clam chowder. Seems like every restaurant in the USA has that little horror on their menu.
Depends on preparation of clam chowder. Many cooks do not properly know how. Delicate soup.
Is Mr Chaudhary feeling ok? He is looking a bit unwell and looks like he has lost weight. If he is unwell, I hope he gets better soon.
when are they going to try our favourite snacks? lets see them try some American and UK snacks
Not gonna lie, I love clams but I'm not a big fan of New England clam chowder either. I don't really like many soups with thick broth. I think Manhattan clam chowder is way better.
so many with peanuts allergy here in us..sad kids wont eat to many onions either they wont eat clam chowder im sure either all these are aquired taste and not many kids will eat them just adults tho kids like chicken noodle soup sometimes if homemade it would be ok but otherwise not healthy as it contains to much salt and not so good ingredients in a can
you should try best cold soup in the world - Lithuanian vegetable soup
Šaltibarščiai
They keep confusing cheese with butter
Those tastes meld very well! It is very good!
I love clam chowder
Still waiting on my cook book

Too chowdery for Mr. Chaudhary!😊
I love the reactions, but you have a Ghanaian flag next to the peanut soup. You will never find a Ghanaian peanut soup like that in Ghana or abroad. It looks nothing like that.
I hope someone corrected Tahir that it wasn’t ant soup, it was made with clams.
Pozole - kleening soop😂
Chaudary would have liked Corn chowder instead of Clam I bet.
I absolutely love clams in almost every recipe for them, but I have tried several recipes for clam chowder and I do not like it at all
Stew and curry are the same tell mr chaudhary , stew is thick soup
Whats the american soup?
clam chowder
Its a soup not a drink. You eat soup with a spoon. You don't drink it. Its in a bowl not a cup.
Dr. Tahir and Gull have really worked hard to learn to use a spoon as we do ìn America. Their natural and polite use would demonstrates their understanding of western table manners. They would make westerners very comfortable to have at the dinner table. Congratulations, keep up the good work!
I think that applies to Tahir and Chaudhary more than Gull. JMO.
"American soup made with ants"?!?
What soup made with ants?
ant chowder? 😂🤣😂🤣
Clam chowder and Mr. Chaudhary were a match destined to fail.😖
Chaundry has never really been a fan of any seafood, it is rare to see him like the dish. Especially anything with what he calls smelly :P
I hope Rana is ok. He hasn't been in some of these shoots.
That clam chowder just didn't look right...
And sour?
Sorry men. I would never eat clam chowder either! It is a seafood soup. YUCKY!👌👌👌
