Nurse practitioner here - Kelli you were correct in saying that anxiety can affect our immune system. Basically, any type of stress whether it be physical or mental (long story short, has to do with cortisol levels). However, it is unrealistic to expect people to not have any stress in their life! I just tell my patients to practice self-care, eat a healthy diet and get physical activity to the best of their ability. You seem to do a great job with that and I am wishing you the best!
From the optometrist in the group: Thank you for highlighting the importance of annual eye exams! Everyone assumes they just need an Rx renewal because the doc wants to make money… but it is to assess your overall ocular health. Young healthy people can have issues that have zero symptoms, and when caught early, are thankfully very treatable. Left undiagnosed and untreated, these issues can become potentially sight threatening. Take care of yourselves!
I'm the worst. I never see the eye dr. I will try to get that appt made soon. I never wore glasses until I needed readers recently and I went like... 7? years ago when that happened, and before that, probably 10+ yrs. eep.
as a fellow person with health issues, a) I totally get that "you're having health issues because you're doing XYZ" thing and b) I appreciate that you talk about your health issues! 💕 sending love and rest!
Hi Kelli! I have thin spots in my retina, too. Just wanted to say I’m here for you! I had one surgery in 2005, another in 08, and just recently a couple of weeks ago. It’s terrifying to think about if I dwell on the thought for too long but I know there’s nothing much I can do to prevent it. I’m the only one in my whole family (both sides) with it as far as we know, and when I started seeing the retina specialist I was the youngest person in their office 🥲 we’re just special. I also have other health issues and understand in my own way what you were talking about for a minute there. Hang in there Kelli! ❤
People who don't like to leave the ceiling white never painted it themselves, IMO. Love the greens! Especially in Vegas, which is so brown. Going to the retina specialist can be scary. Virtual hugs. You are not the only one! I had a detachment that somehow healed itself (which they said rarely happens). But you are correct that small holes in the retina occur more in the nearsighted. It happens more than people realize. I had no idea I should have sought treatment earlier.
I hope you are healing well. So sorry there were complications, I’ve been through medical complications, it’s very scary. One foot in front of the other. Have Ryan keep detailed notes or record notes. You got this! Sending positive energy and love!❤️
Painting tip: Get a little touch up roller -should just be a couple bucks. You can use it for tight spots, around outlets, even at the baseboard. It’s faster than brushing and the texture matches the big roller.
Sending you prayers and healing vibes for your eyes. I love the colors that you chose. I always love all of your videos. Get well soon! I hope you’re resting with your beautiful soft blankets! 🙏💚
Leaving the ceiling white is exactly what i would do (right or wrong). Dark ceiling makes me feel like i'm in a bar. But it's your home & you hafta live there. Love your green picks 💚 i think you'll really like it! Edit: genetic health issues.. i feel you. By 26 i had 4 major surgeries for inherited problems. I 100% feel you on how ppl judge you for things like that. Like "you're young, what are you doing wrong?" Yeah. 😑 i know the warrior you are dealing with sh*t life gifted you ❤ the ppl talking smack are pretty lucky. They have no idea.
Keep it white! It keeps everything brighter. If you think it ends up being too bright agains the super dark colors you could go for a neutral grey that would keep things bright while not being blinding.
Yes my husband has had back problems since a teen and it has only gotten worse now approaching 40 and people can't understand why he can't do DIY!! Sounds like a joke but it's been really tough 😢
Praying for healing! ❤ I'm also someone who struggles with anxiety and "weird" health issues (my doctor told me last time I saw him that I've used up my weird health problems for the year 😆) Thank you for sharing these things and yes, normalizing them! Millions of people go through these kinds of things and this makes me feel less alone in it. Big hugs girl!
I absolutely ADORE the color choice for the bedroom!! Very chic and rich. It’s so lovely watching these videos of your new place and the excitement you and Ryan have! It’s such a blessing and I’m so happy for you both. Enjoy every minute of it. Also…SHAME on those people who would have the audacity to say you cause your illnesses. It’s horrible how people think they have the right to say anything about one’s health. I myself deal with 2 congenital chronic illnesses, (liver and heart). I too also deal with anxiety which is just an added struggle. I always try to put on a brave face but there are days that it takes over, and people have told me to my face, “well you don’t look sick!” It’s so hurtful, because no one knows what we deal with in our individual lives. I just brush my shoulders off and try not to let their negative energy in. Please don’t allow anyone to steal your shine, because your energy is AMAZING!! Sending you healing vibes and speedy recovery for your eye procedure. 🫶🏼
I hope your eye heals and I’m sorry you’re going through this. My retina issue was discovered when I scratched my eye while wearing a textured nail polish. I went to the ER and then was referred to a few retina specialists. In the end they diagnosed me with macular dystrophy. I’m the youngest person in the waiting room at my retina specialist too. Sending you hugs.
Eye exams are so SO important and it’s good you caught your issues before they got worse! I wear glasses and have to get eye exams every year because my family has a history of weird eye cancer (as well as severe astigmatism) so it’s always refreshing to see other people take their vision seriously. Hope you recover well :)
I pray for a speedy recovery. And that you get well soon. I really enjoy your vlogs on making this house your home. Bless you and Ryan on continuing to build your dreams together
I really hope you're recovery is back on track and that you're feeling better soon, Kelli! Thanks for the update on the house and painting. I love the colours you guys picked, the bathroom swatch looks amazing and is going to go so well with the bedroom! Don't let the negative comments about your health/stress get you down. Some of us get what that's like, some of us don't, and either way: none of us are you. Much love. 💜
@@KelliMarissaVlogs Sorry to hear! Thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovering and in the meantime, hope you are resting and staying comfortable
I really like that necklace! I got into mixing metals after I bought a two tone necklace. It’s a medium chunky chain that’s half gold half silver, so it goes with everything. So easy to style two tone looks with it!
Prayers for healing. ❤ Love the color of your bedroom. Those of us that watch your nail swatches also know greens are one of your favs, so no surprise there lol. Hope you're doing better
Hi Kelli, health issues suck! I hope you are feeling better! I think that when people share as you have, it can help othets feel like they are not alone with their health issues. Thank you for the nail polish and your kindness and positivity. ☮️❤️🙂
First and most importantly, I'm praying for the whole eye procedure & recovery to go well!!!🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖 Second, I absolutely love everything you guys have picked out for your room!!! 💚💚💚 Very chic!! I can't wait to see the green couch. Lol
I didn't realize that white ceilings were dated...it brightens the room where the walls being a different color seems to warm the room (depending on shade). I love the greens, my accent walls in the hall, living room, and kitchen are sage greens. Doors are a lighter sage and the trim is even lighter. Love it. Bedroom has a deep purple accent. Looking forward to seeing your colors. I love the bathroom color. I hope your eyes are ok. We also in fact get a blanket for our comforter in the bedroom - I always buy a king to cover lots more of the bed. (plus my hubby is a blanket hog). P.S. I hope you don't mind my segmented comments. I comment as you go. Again, hope your eyes are ok
The paint colors are beautiful. I’ve been wanting to paint our bathroom, and this may be the inspiration to get me to start looking at colors lol. On the health side of things, stress (anxiety is stressful) does weaken our immune system, but that obviously has nothing to do with congenital health issues, and it’s pretty rude of people to make assumptions and judge you based on a little bit of info shared on the internet. People 😂 anyway. I’ve been loving the vlogs. Always makes my day to see one pop up.
I hope you're feeling better quickly! When I painted, I used a much lighter color of my main wall color for the trim/ceiling, so it wasn't just white but also wasn't too obviously a color. I think it worked out well.
Ive decorated with shades of green for years! It’s one of my favorites, but my bedroom is gray and blue then greys and some greens in the on-suite. I hope your eye is better soon! Ignore the haters. Everyone’s different and genetics determine a lot in our lives. Great vlog! ❤
I like that you talk about your health stuff. It's very relatable. I hope you're doing well, and I LOVE watching this moving journey. I love your house, and I love the greens you picked. The bedroom is so big, it can definitely pull off that darker color!
Love the new house --- congrats! Love the grey kitchen! Just catching back up after a long hiatus. I 100% agree with white ceilings. Also love the new nail polish tower -- much more modern. I know what you meant about a weight being lifted after getting rid of the old one...I've had the same experience. I heard you mention your wedding ring -- didn't know you and Ryan had gotten married! When last I saw the blog, you had been engaged for a while. Congratulations! Happy for all the new great changes in your life. Looking forward to seeing more of the house & your new adventures!
I love a green bedroom and bathroom!! Personally, I would use the bathroom green for the bedroom ceiling to tie the rooms together a little more, but a white ceiling can also be a cool contrast, especially if you have mood lighting in the room. It's your bedroom, so who cares what anyone else thinks as long as you and Ryan like it and feel at peace there. I also have thinning retinas, it's something I have a lot of anxiety about, though I haven't needed to get surgery (yet). Thank you for sharing your journey. It makes me feel less alone knowing that someone else out there who is under 50 also is dealing with this. The first dr who told me about the thin spots told me that I had a high chance of going blind, but I didn't go back to him and my next dr was like... that's an insane thing to say right off the bat, let's talk about how to keep on top of it and what we can do to avoid that. So much better!! So glad that it sounds like you have a good dr looking out for you. I hope the rest of your healing goes an smoothly as possible without further complications. Sending lots of care your way. 💜💜💜
@@KelliMarissaVlogs Rookwood looked beautiful too!! My house is a 120 year old fixer upper so I try to stay with the Sherwin historical colors so that's why I went Dard lol. But honestly they're all so similar at the end of the day who can really tell?? 🤣 just saw the end of the video - hope you are doing okay! Eye stuff is no joke, sending you lots of good recovery vibes 💕
Oh i hope you have healed by now Kelli and the procedure on the other eye goes better. Loving the colour in the bedroom. Excited to see it all finished. A super tip we got when changing our sitting room colour was to swatch each potential colour on an A4 sheet of paper and that way you can move the swatch around the room to see how it looks in different lighting. Worked a treat for us. Looking foward to the next vlog 😊
Sending you healing vibes, hope everything goes well despite complications! Love all the green bedroom vibes, we are having a green bedroom as well, I've read somewhere that green is one of the best colours for bedroom because of how calm and relaxing it is, and I couldn't agree more. Also love the dark colour with white details, I'd do the same if I could paint the walls to be honest. It's a nice contrast. We also have the same blanket as the first one you've got, just in a different colour (peach) for the guest room bed and all our friends love it and say it's super cosy!
I keep one of my nightstand drawers half full of Sherwin Williams paint cards. Then I have maybe 15 of the samplize things that I keep in the sleeves in a tote under my bed.
We are the same person; I want my entire house to be a snuggly little cave, like I’m not trying to get out of bed right now cozy. 😂 We just painted our first of many walls and it was Sea Turtle. The Rookwood collection is stunning. And I love pewter green 😍 You know if you ever need to pick a brain, I do this five days a week and paid for an education and piece of paper that says I’m qualified 😉
Hope you're feeling much better💚. Love the bathroom color. I can't imagine going so dark for the bedroom, but my room is way smaller, so a color like that would make it look even smaller. I'm sure yours will come together beautifully when complete. Love the blankets you choose. I was so surprised when you mentioned it being outdated to not paint the ceiling. I didn't even realize that was a trend. The house I grew up in had one room painted with the ceiling to match the walls when we moved in and we thought it was so weird. IMO ceilings are best left some shade of flat white.
I hope you are feeling better Kelli! I have an autoimmune disease and have had some people insinuate that I have somehow brought it upon myself, so I feel you. I hope that once your procedures are done, you won't have to worry about this issue anymore! Wishing you speedy recovery!
Sometimes people just have more health hiccups to deal with, I sure do. Even when I am mentally my best, my genetics are obviously not going to improve, and it's mind boggling how many people seem to think it a magic fix-all. All you can do is make due, keep up with your routine maintenance, and don't skip out on regular tune-ups. We only get the one, so best to stay on top of things, and it seems like you are doing all the right stuff (based on what you share at least).
I'm so sorry you're having complications with your eye procedure! I hope you're feeling better soon, and I totally agree about wanting time in pain to be down time! I'm getting my IUD replaced tomorrow and I have that day and the next off to just be grumpy and painy and watch TV in bed, lol. I absolutely love the color you guys picked out for your room, from what I've seen of your personality that feels like a very you color! I painted most of the main rooms in our house when we moved in, and it's so funny how things look so different on camera. We painted the den a really dark purple and it looks super cozy and deep in person but on camera it looks like an absolute grape explosion 😂
Ooh gosh good luck and healing vibes for your IUD replacement!! It'll be a good excuse to lay in bed all day and relax while you're healing up at least haha! And omg yeah, the color looks soooo green on camera but it's a nice dark color irl hahaha
I got a king sized comforter for my full sized bed and it's amazing to have the extra length to drape over the side (and increase snuggliness). Highly recommend!
We painted our bedroom a dark forest green with a white ceiling as well. You can bring SW color swatches/color codes to Home Depot and they can make the paint for you. I've had horrible luck with SW paint, especially for dark colors where 4 plus coats are needed. Behr paint is way better in my experience.
For reals, if you, paint the undercolor (white) after you tape off the wall (so, paint white or whatever trim color you are using along the tape) and then paint the green, you will get a major super awesome crisp line. Also I'd love to see your glasses! Get well soon!! Xoxo
Sending you lots of healing vibes Kelli. Hopefully just a temporary set back. I’m sure you’re under a lot of stress with the move so hopefully this gives you a chance at some downtime. Please don’t rush back either, we’re going to be here when your ready. Sending giant healing hugs. ❤
We did out living room a mid toned grey with an accent wall of a deep inky blue, we did paint the ceiling the grey too, we also have an alcove with french doors out and we painted that the deep inky blue, our accents are a dark golden yellow. Its really a chill room now, before it was this awful milky insipid beige with a feature wall of hideous grey/brown/khaki stripes lol it also took us 10 years to finally do our living room as we had other rooms that needed doing more.
Oh no! I hope you're feeling better now. Rest up, snuggle with the new soft blankets, and I hope you're back to 100% soon. Also, the paint color is gorgeous! Your bedroom is going to be such an oasis!
OMG!! I just did a bedroom remodel! We painted it a dark green, with lots of green accents 💚 I, too wanted a jungle vibe. I actually found a great color at home Depot. It's called Greener Pastures.I tried about twenty different greens (but in the living room...my next project) one of my reject Greens ended up being the one I chose for the bedroom 😂 good luck!
I love the colors you are picking! I think it's a dark academia vibe. I would suggest all different colors of green books in the seating area! Hope you feel better soon! Hugs from Florida ✌️🌴
Health-wise, I’m sad people try to blame you. Ugh. Side note, history of eye issues makes me appreciate your amazing eye looks even more. I’d be so nervous about makeup. I’m glad you don’t let it get to you. 😊 Also, petition to paint your living room an eggplant purple. It’s in the same sort of vibe as your greens and I think it would be so pretty with your couch. ❤ Also love the new shades for the windows.
If it was me. Yep that's what I'd do. Place some paint sample paint swatches on the wall too. 😊 yea I'd wait for other stuff later too. No don't paint ceilings. It's a pain in the behind. Maybe in the bedroom do an accent wall in one color and the dark color on the other wall or walls. Then u can see if it blends with the bathroom. Love the blinds! Glad u picked the color that u like! Cool curtains!! Looking great!! Oh my. Bless your heart. Oh no. It's genetics. Prayers. I believe u will be ok. . I'd be anxious too.
I have a friend who hired a swanky designer to do her interiors. She used a lot of dark wall hues, then would paint the ceiling of each room the same basic color, but two shades lighter on the paint strip. The effect was really cool. I haven't tried it myself - all white ceilings for me. Sorry about your eyes and I hope whatever happened is a speedy recovery. I am very young for it but already need to get cataracts removed, which I think is also done with a laser. I'm nervous about it.
Oh my gosh, I went through this with my bedroom, lol. Glad you found something you love! And anyone who says you cause your own health issues is an idiot, lol. Good thoughts for your eyes and healing.
I am so sorry you had complications. I have weird spots, too. Mine mimic maculardengeration, but aren't. But I have to go every year to check. I ❤❤❤ the green. Gray or dark Grey brown would look awesome for the molding. Also, you have the wall height to do crown molding. And the bathroom color looks fantastic.
I'm just now getting to watch this vlog, so I'm late in learning about your eye procedure. I'm sorry to hear there were complications, and hope it's better now and continuing to heal. I pray you're not in a lot of pain as well. God bless ❤
Love the color you guys chose for the bedroom walls and love the cozy vibe also! I hope you are healing well from your eye procedure and I am sorry to hear there was some complications with it. ❤
So funny I was thinking about this the other day - I share a house with my brother and he is constantly getting sick with colds/flu and I NEVER get sick but I am riddled with health issues. My retina malady is that I have a mole on my retina which is encroaching on my optic nerve - gotta monitor it for size so I don't go blind. Love that for me 🙃 Totally bogus to blame you for your health issues. It's that puritanical mindset that bad things only happen to people who deserve it and that a person who is well has just believed in themselves/been pure of heart/godly enough that theyre healthy. No amount of intention can change a persons physical health. Those people are fooling themselves by saying these things Sorry to hear your proceedure didn't go well, I hope you're able to get everything rectified asap and be back to your bubbly self soon! Ps. The green is STUNNING! Excellent choice 💚
Hope you're feeling better! Health issues can be so scary, especially when it comes to your eyes. I think because we're so dependent on our sight as a society that it would make it so much more stressful. Sending healing thoughts your way! 💕
Sorry to hear about the complications, please know that I'm thinking of you! ❤ I absolutely love the green, and adore your green color palette idea! One of our kiddos painted her room a mossy forest green and it's stunning. Watched this while swatching your collab polishes that I just received Ethel, Venetian Sky and Flaminglow. Holy moly they are gorgeous! The shimmer of Ethel ties with the main color of Flaminglow. I'm super impressed with the formula - nice job! (And the boxes are luxe!!!)
Hope you’re feeling better soon! And screw those people blaming you for your own illnesses. Gross. What a lack of empathy! I read this somewhere and it stayed with me, especially as a chronic migraineur: health is a crown people wear that only the sick can see. 💜💜💜💜💜
Eek! Sorry to hear you had complications with your procedure, but I hope you feel better soon! I've been thinking of doing a dark foresty witchy vibes guest bathroom so your color choices were so exciting to me! I can't wait to see the finished results!
I love what you are doing with the colors for your bedroom. I hope that your recovery is going well! Rest up and I look forward to seeing your next vlog. ❤❤
The green is lovely! Hope the complications were minor! Life just happens. I'm very healthy overall, I get a cold like every 5 years, I'm 50 and lately I feel like I go to drs a lot and just got a boob biopsy yesterday. Have bad plantar fasciitis and foot pain a lot, a knee issue since I was in high school, and I'm on depress meds. I'm a silver girl but I have seen some beautiful gold silver bronze together jewelry. I painted and had new carpeting put in before I moved in my condo, I never ended up painting the 2 bathrooms and hallway and kitchen later :). I was going to do a pale green sage type color in 1 of my baths if I ever do it (over 10 yrs later). I went dark purple in my bedroom, ceiling too, it was a buttercream yellow, had to go (I don't hate it but now I sort of wish I went paler gray lavender, but oh well, at the time it's what I wanted and it's staying this way.), my living room is a beautiful medium gray, and my extra bedroom is dark blue, I was thinking night sky, it's sort of TARDIS blue.
*LOVE the green and the forest vibes you’re going with!! Hope you’re recovering well. Eye issues and procedures are so nerve-wracking. And I feel ya on having health issues your whole life. I’m the exact same. My Mom was, too. It just happens. It sucks, but I think we’re stronger because of all the struggles. This whole year I’ve been dealing with kidney/ureter problems AND a torn meniscus. It’s exhausting!
I'm doing my office/spare bedroom similar but different. Can't paint the walls bc renting, but I bought a lot of sage green and grey/cream and have a lot of succulent/plant pictures and fake plants as decor! Hope you are loving your new bedroom and your eye feels better!
I hope you don't have serious pain to deal with, and that you heal fast. Umm, when you were showing the swatches, I was thinking mmm, maybe too dark. But now that I see it on the walls, it's gorgeous! Lovin it! Thanks for sharing, it's going to be fun watching all of the touches you'll add to your new house ❤
You should check out Home RenoVision's videos on how to paint a room (he has two- the older one is the most straightforward)! My husband and I just finished our third room. It's a lot of work, but his videos helped us a lot. I was the one to cut into the ceiling/corners/trim/around removed outlets with a brush, and my husband followed me with the roller. Good luck!! It's such a rewarding experience in the end, but it took us 8 hours to do our first room completely with two coats. We've cut down on the time. The color in your bedroom is amazing!!
We do the same with the soft blankets for our “comforter” and I love it! And I’m on Team Near-sighted…I’ve had issues with my eyes too. Just goes with the myopia territory. Hope you are healing well ❤❤
Hope you are all healed up by now ❤ When you said you wanted a jungle/forest them in your bedroom first thing that came to mind was Blanche's bedroom in the Golden Girls 😂 But love that shade of green. Can't wait to see the finished results.
Aw Kelli I love your vlogs so much, whatever the content you always make them so much fun but also interesting and informative, thank you 😊 The green on the walls is stunning and really suits that space, tonal for the bathroom is a great idea as well, wonder what colour curtains you have 🤔 Sorry to hear about your eye issues, hopefully its getting sorted now and you're feeling ok, you take care, looking forward to the next vlog 👍xx
I'm so excited about your plans for the bedroom. Green is my favorite color, and I love the forest idea. I have a similar vibe in my house and I love it. I love the color you chose. It's gorgeous! I'm sorry about your eyes. Sending you healing vibes. ❤
For the painting, I highly recommend a paint edger. They make it so easy to get the edges. We had one with wheels that worked perfectly for the baseboards and stuff.
I had this color on my bedroom walls in my old house. It was a very dark green and mom made me balance it out with a pinky beige. I hate green with green but it is to be your sanctuary. I did like my room that color though. I wish I could paint in my apartment thought the soft medium grey is a nice neutral.
I have cataracts, or the beginnings of, and it makes me nervous. Really hard for me to drive at night. Also, I have Flaminglow on my nails and it is so pretty!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

Much love. 💜
Now I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happened - so glad you're okay!
There were just some complications with my eye so I'm still not healing unfortunately!
The yellow eye makeup is sooooo cute. Could totally see it with a retro ska or No Doubt shirt!!! ❤
Ooh that's a fun idea!
Ive decorated with shades of green for years! It’s one of my favorites, but my bedroom is gray and blue then greys and some greens in the on-suite. I hope your eye is better soon! Ignore the haters. Everyone’s different and genetics determine a lot in our lives. Great vlog! ❤
Oh kelli sweetie.... sending healing vibes for your eye! Fingers crossed you heal quickly. Warm hugs
My bedroom is Dard Hunter Green and I loooove it. Dark bedrooms are such a vibe
Ohh Ryan LOVED the Dard Hunter Green haha. But I convinced him to go Rookwood 😂 It really is a pretty color tho!
Ooh that's a smart trick, thank you!
Sorry for the procedure complications. Hope you're feeling and seeing much better.
The greens you chose for your bedroom are very relaxing.
I love the green palette!! I can’t wait to see the final look when it’s all done!
I hope you heal quickly. Sending positive healing vibes!! 💗
Love the greens. Certainly true about having lots of green shades to make it feel right.
Hope you feel better soon.
So sorry there were complications, I hope you feel better soon! Mixing gold and silver is sooo gorgeous, so just jump right into it ❤
I hope you are feeling better Kelli! I have an autoimmune disease and have had some people insinuate that I have somehow brought it upon myself, so I feel you. I hope that once your procedures are done, you won't have to worry about this issue anymore! Wishing you speedy recovery!
Thank you so much! People can be crazy haha.
Hope you have a speedy recovery Kelli 🙏🙏. I really love the colour palette you have chosen for the rooms in your new home, very earthy 🌱🌍 🌟
May you have recovered well by now, and feeling much better.
Thanks for the tip Kaylin!
i wish you the best of luck with your health issues but i'm also really happy to see how much happier you seem now in your own house!
For reals, if you, paint the undercolor (white) after you tape off the wall (so, paint white or whatever trim color you are using along the tape) and then paint the green, you will get a major super awesome crisp line. Also I'd love to see your glasses! Get well soon!! Xoxo
You are a kind person and your health issues are not your fault. Love the jasper stone and dark green bedroom walls. Keep Rocking On🎉 .
Oh my gosh, that sounds concerning! Super speedy healing wishes to you!!
Also, petition to paint your living room an eggplant purple. It’s in the same sort of vibe as your greens and I think it would be so pretty with your couch. ❤ Also love the new shades for the windows.
I looked at the Rockwood shutter for my office, but selected roycroft bottle green (similar dark green shade) :)
Sending you good thoughts! Love the bedroom color and looking forward to seeing the finished project.
Hope you're better soon Kelli. Loving what you’ve done with your house so far ❤
I'm just now getting to watch this vlog, so I'm late in learning about your eye procedure. I'm sorry to hear there were complications, and hope it's better now and continuing to heal. I pray you're not in a lot of pain as well. God bless ❤
Hi Kelli. I hope you will be doing better soon. I’m so sorry for what you are going through. 😢
Omg I LOVE the greens that you picked! Hope you feel better soon.
Love the color you guys chose for the bedroom walls and love the cozy vibe also! I hope you are healing well from your eye procedure and I am sorry to hear there was some complications with it. ❤
I’m so with you, I have severe anxiety, take care😊
Love the idea of the dark green vibe for the bedroom!!!
I'm so pleased with it so far!!
Love that for me 🙃
Totally bogus to blame you for your health issues. It's that puritanical mindset that bad things only happen to people who deserve it and that a person who is well has just believed in themselves/been pure of heart/godly enough that theyre healthy. No amount of intention can change a persons physical health. Those people are fooling themselves by saying these things
Sorry to hear your proceedure didn't go well, I hope you're able to get everything rectified asap and be back to your bubbly self soon!
Ps. The green is STUNNING! Excellent choice 💚
Hope you're feeling better! Health issues can be so scary, especially when it comes to your eyes. I think because we're so dependent on our sight as a society that it would make it so much more stressful. Sending healing thoughts your way! 💕
Hi Kelli - I love the shade of green! Now I'm curious about the velvet drapes & sofa!
Love the look of your shades! I cant wait to see the finished paint job. How fun! Thank you for sharing!!
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thank you!!
Hope you’re feeling better soon! And screw those people blaming you for your own illnesses. Gross. What a lack of empathy! I read this somewhere and it stayed with me, especially as a chronic migraineur: health is a crown people wear that only the sick can see.
💜💜💜💜💜
Feel better soon! Love the paint in the bedroom
Eek! Sorry to hear you had complications with your procedure, but I hope you feel better soon! I've been thinking of doing a dark foresty witchy vibes guest bathroom so your color choices were so exciting to me! I can't wait to see the finished results!
Wishing you luck on your procedure! You got this!!! Also i really love the color you chose for your bedroom!
Loving the green paint, bedding, & decor! 💚 Green painted rooms sound so calming.🧘♀️Hope your eye is healing well. 🍁
Thank you Reilly
Sending good thoughts for a speedy complete recovery. ❤
Thank you so much 💜💜💜
*LOVE the green and the forest vibes you’re going with!!
It’s exhausting!
the green looks so good!
Thanksssss you'll fit right in with your green blue hair 🎨
I'm doing my office/spare bedroom similar but different. Can't paint the walls bc renting, but I bought a lot of sage green and grey/cream and have a lot of succulent/plant pictures and fake plants as decor! Hope you are loving your new bedroom and your eye feels better!
My favorite color is green so I'm all about your vibes!!! Hope all is well after your procedure 😊
Healing and good health vibes being sent your way.💚 You could paint the ceiling with the lighter green.💚
Hope you are healing well ❤❤
Hope you are all healed up by now ❤
When you said you wanted a jungle/forest them in your bedroom first thing that came to mind was Blanche's bedroom in the Golden Girls 😂
But love that shade of green. Can't wait to see the finished results.
Aw Kelli I love your vlogs so much, whatever the content you always make them so much fun but also interesting and informative, thank you 😊
The green on the walls is stunning and really suits that space, tonal for the bathroom is a great idea as well, wonder what colour curtains you have 🤔
Sorry to hear about your eye issues, hopefully its getting sorted now and you're feeling ok, you take care, looking forward to the next vlog 👍xx
Wishing you a speedy recovery
I'm so excited about your plans for the bedroom. Green is my favorite color, and I love the forest idea. I have a similar vibe in my house and I love it. I love the color you chose. It's gorgeous!
I'm sorry about your eyes. Sending you healing vibes. ❤
For the painting, I highly recommend a paint edger. They make it so easy to get the edges. We had one with wheels that worked perfectly for the baseboards and stuff.
It’s nice that you respect your mans wishes, love the color
I had this color on my bedroom walls in my old house. It was a very dark green and mom made me balance it out with a pinky beige. I hate green with green but it is to be your sanctuary. I did like my room that color though. I wish I could paint in my apartment thought the soft medium grey is a nice neutral.
ooh -please include a lovely dark teal
I have cataracts, or the beginnings of, and it makes me nervous. Really hard for me to drive at night. Also, I have Flaminglow on my nails and it is so pretty!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
