Congrads....I have a speed blue convertible M850 which I'm about to tune to 750HP. Figured I'd do this first before getting an M8. Looking forward to your next video

I think this is a really great review and I believe you coverd the most important things especially when it comes to comparing the M850 I with the M8. One thing I would love to watch is a comparison between the sound of the exhaust between the two cars because I believe one more negative thing about the M8 is the fact that it doesn’t sound as good as the M850

I actually do have multiple videos on my channel showing how the M850i sounds (revs, drive by, cold start, etc). I do agree that the M850i sounds better if you are going for the classic V8 sound. The V8 in the M8 has a different sound, kind of higher pitch and some have even called it exotic

I have a 2021 X5M comp and for me it's a fantastic all around vehicle. The V8 in the full M models mainly sounds different than the M performance models because of the different exhaust manifolds. It allows for a wider torque powerband between 1800-5800 rpm. That is amazing for a V8. M 850i doesn't have that wide torque band. As to the ride being firmer than the M performance models, that is by design. It is an M vehicle.

All true, although the reason for the different sound of the V8 is actually due to the exhaust manifolds, not the intake, from what I’ve heard. X5M is a great vehicle, by the way!

Oh my, I 'm getting old. I meant to say exhaust manifolds.
      I corrected it.

Sorry, I could not drive around with that screen. Being a 2023, this is something they should have covered and this would bother me!
Was this a certified car? If so, they should not have sold it to you with a damaged screen. In your prior video you can clearly see that the damage was there when you took delivery.

You are correct. But no, not certified

@@Supercaradventures Got it. Still something I would push for them to fix considering how much these cars cost and that they sold it like that.

@@BmwAlfa123 problem is, the dealer I bought it from is far away and the dealer I get serviced from (who quoted me the repair job) nearer my home, but they didn't sell the car to me.
The crack is on the edge of the screen and doesn't interfere with any functioning. To be honest, I hardly notice it. Being that I usually change cars frequently (1-2 years), I just don't have much motivation to push to have it fixed, and I certainly don't think $2600 to replace the screen is worth it.

@@Supercaradventures I understand. It's just not a cheap car and I bet when you trade it in they will tell you how expensive the repair will be and therefore offer a lower value 😂
