I feel like the m8 is more sporty but the 850i is a balance between the sporty and luxury the best of both worlds

Cool video. I went from an M850i GC to an M5C (arguably faster/lighter version of the M8C) back to an M850i Coupe with a Stage 1 tune. The Stage 1 tune just puts it on a different level when compared against the M5C. Torque kicks on much harder and it just keeps on pulling at highway speeds. This is expected as it traps ~8 mph faster than the M5C in the quarter mile. The reason why I didn't tune the M5C is because the DMEs were locked (had to be shipped overseas) but more importantly, power limits on the M5C with mostly stock hardware seems to be fairly similar to the power limit of the M850i. Meaning, while the M5C is faster stock, it does not appear to (reliably) tune as well as the N63TU3 without major hardware upgrades. When looking at E85 tunes, they both have very similar numbers without hardware modifications. You are hitting similar ceilings with either of these, but I liked having back the rear wheel steering, which made the car "drive" like a much smaller car. Goes to show, any of these BMW v8s can be made into monsters with just a little bit of $ put in them.

Congrats on the Evo Spyder! Fantastic spec! I was debating between the Evo Spyder vs the Tecnica and went with the Tecnica primarily because of more space in the driver cabin and a little better rear and blind spot visibility while driving around. I moved from a 2023 Porsche 911 992 Turbo S to the Tecnica and have absolutely no regrets. I agree with you in terms of the driver sensations. I also can actually feel the benefit on the rear wheel steer in the Tecnica which makes me a feel a little better knowing it is also RWD and not AWD like my Turbo S was. Just love it and it gets a lot of positive attention and smiles wherever I take it. I found a good solution to mount my iPhone without any impact to the interior and also bought a wireless carplay adapter on Amazon that works great to make the wired carplay into wireless carplay seamlessly. Drive yours in good health!

Live in IL and I'd personally dread driving my R8 to the city. I feel like the roads are so garbage I'd get annoyed lol As for your next car, I'd personally lean 488 for the name and life goal I guess. A 720S would be neat but allegedly you need a 2020+ for reliability purposes. A 488 Spider would likely cost more for a cleaner example than a 720S Spider. I don't think either will have as nice build quality as the R8 but they're not under a massive brand like VW anyway.

When rocks and debris cut your tire there is a jagged laceration. That cut on your tire was done with a blade. Somebody is player hating unfortunately.

I understand the logic of shaving the tire, but would it not be the same to (1) keep the $25 and not shave it whilst (2) maintaining the tread? When you need to replace the other tire, you might still have some on the other tire, but the only thing keeping you from not replacing it, is the fact that is has better tread than the other. Shaving a tire has to be one of the most unintelligble things, whilst also within a logical reasons, to ever do. Not my money, nor my tires, but still dont understand

Dude. That's a very clean cut in the tire with no damage to the wheel. That was caused by something sharp, like a utility knife/ and it probably wasn't an accident. Piss anyone off lately?

I am a woman and have no interest in cars for me there is no difference in Porsche or Lamborghini (nothing special😁) BUT, when this beast entered my backyard (it was a client of my father ) I almost fainted.For the first time in my life I googled a car. 🤭 And had to write this down 😆because this car EXUDES testosterone. It is just fierce. No spoilers or any other type of macho crap, this BMW is so beautiful, masculine, powerful like when I saw it approaching I was lightheaded. In my entire life I've never had this type of reaction for a CAR?! I. And the guy driving it was pretty masculine so yeah, top combination. 👌And when he left and the sound of that engine ,I thought it was an earthquake, dear Lord, it is what a car is intended for: bold and beautiful.But seriously only a real man can pull this off.

I was probably one of the people who said I wouldn't be happy with it in a previous video :) I understand that it's not in a central location, but that could potentially spread (like a windshield crack), and then you will need to replace it. Also, looking at the resale value. If you were to sell it or trade it in, I bet you the buyer will point this out to you and you will be negatively affected by the resale value. This is an enthusiast car and I think a lot of people look at this. Would I pay out of pocket to get it replaced? No. But knowing that this car is new to you, I'd definitely try to push the selling dealership to cover it. Honestly, it should be a goodwill repair from my perspective, even if not a warranty claim.
