Congratulations on getting the M8 Competition GC. Beautiful car. Looks like Tanzanite Blue. Really pops in the sun. A couple years ago I was looking to get a new X5 M50i or an X5M Competition. Back to back test drives showed quite a difference between the two. Of course I chose the X5M Competition. It was a long 5 week wait for it to be built and deliver it to the West coast. Congratulations on the M8 👍🏼. In all means it is a better car definitely. But for the purpose of a daily drive car i think the M850 will serve you better. From comfort wise it is more comfortable and more luxurious. You have a rear wheel steering which makes a big difference and you don’t get that on an M8. And last and most of all the M850i sound way much better as a V8 than the M8 and no one can deny this fact. But nonetheless beautiful car and color such as mine.🎉
I heard that buying a new car is not smart because it losses value as soon as we drive out of the parking lot. So good to know that you bought the used one, but it does not look used at all. Question I have is about leasing a new BMW M8 vs buying the used. I think leasing will be cheaper and I can return in 2 years. Just some input from wise people out there. Thanks.
That’s a good question. I am more into the styling of the BMW 8 series and I tend to like BMW’s tech, not too sure about Panamera. Also I think the Panamera GTS is somewhat underpowered compared to the M8 despite paying the same price
