I am feeling so proud that of my role - House Wife Or Home Maker. Fresh, सबजी मंडी, rotation of grains = taking care of health needs + respecting my work, myself. Thanks to my Parents.
Ladies great podcast, just wanted to let you know that my sister developed serious levels of thyroid problem after eating millets every day, just because she was having some skin issues. Her thyroid levels went over the roof, so I agree rotation of grains is a good idea .
Hi Smita, I think what the podcast has failed to throw light on is the difference between weight loss and fat loss, how to achieve it while being healthy. It’s a concern for most people. Kindly ensure that the next podcast on health related topic highlights this. Thanks so much for the efforts.
Very informative, straight forward and the most practical podcast with a dietician on youtube. I like the way they interact with each other and "Yay-Nay" an intriguing style to explain things 😅
Thanks for making this video ladies 👏🏻🎉.. Don't mind pls " you talked about carbs in govt school midday meal that doesn't have protein, they govt provide only anaj. I just want to say that in india """24 cr people only getting 1 time of food in a day""" protein to bhut dur ki baat ho gyi.. All the points raised in this video was very informative. Thanks
There is no comparison between whey and sattu. Qualitatively and quantitatively, sattu can't replace whey. Sattu has 20-25 per 100g whereas just a scoop of a good quality whey protein (around 33-35g) has 24-30g protein. Sattu has 350-400 kcal whereas a scoop of whey only contains 130-140g kcal. Sattu has 50-60 g carbs which means it is a better source of carbs than protein. A scoop of whey almost has no carbs. Sure, sattu has other micronutrients but hey you have other food sources to meet those requirements. Qualitatively too, in terms of amino acid profile and whey is superior. The bioavailability of sattu is only 60%. One needs to factor in all of these before comparing food sources. Unfortunately, even these elite nutritionists in India don't understand muscle building nutrition.
I wish that food related podcasts should be broken down in chapters and no generalist should be invited as the main speaker. Such podcasts should have a panel of nutrition specialist and doctors
I think the eating early before is not a myth at all. They ask us to eat early so that food is digested by the time you go to bef. Another reason is good health because body will go into fast till next morning
Sonia- great knowledge, great way of sharing your knowledge and helping people.. People search to find the motive of their life and you found it in people’s health.. HATSOFF and THANK YOU for being in my life and making me healthy.❤❤❤
I am from the same college (Lady Irwin college) but have masters in different stream I did study food and nutrition in all my three years of bachelors. Sonia has dealt with the topics very scientifically and to me this was the best podcast related to food and nutrition which I have heard so far. I really liked the Kavita between chai and lassi and the way she says it.Loved the mention of Scene from Lapata ladies so relevant to the topic.Loved it❤❤
Sattoo is de cheapest & de Best protein drink : cooling mineral vegetable high protein Powder drink more than expensive Market sport drink powders 🎉 Sattoo is made from Black - Gram Chana roasted & powdered. Cannot take Satoo in excess in one shot 🎉: can cause tummy bloating
Milk calcium doesn’t get absorbed in body due to lack of enzyme to digest it rather leeches calcium out of our bones, hense the joint pain for our ladies.
My children home learning school on the time to learning UTSV on the time to Monday to Thursday on the time iwill be going on on the time 👍 learning UTSV Success on the time 👍🌺✋
How can you compare non-veg and veg sources of protein? non veg single source of protein is also a complete source of protein but if u consume only one source of veg protein it is incomplete protein
Its not a myth if you eat and immediately go to sleep. There has to be atleast 2hrs gap between dinner and bedtime. 4hrs is recommended. If you eat at 10 pm and go to bed at 2am, no significant change will be there in weight, but if you eat at 8pm and go to bed at 8.30pm, you might gain weight. Sleeping at 2am is not a healthy lifestyle thats why it's recommended to have dinner at 8pm.
Good attempt by smitaji to invite health care professionals to the podcast. Hope she herself derives some wisdom from them. Eating after 8 pm is not a good idea as mentioned by Dr Sarin in earlier podcast. Weight of course depends upon calories balance. Balanced diet having all essential nutrients in required proportions is essential as well as regular exercise protocol combined with restful sleep following your circadian rhythm,

Smitaji,
Please invite an Ayurvedacharya on your podcast. Eating after 8pm caises weight gain is not a myth.

Ayurveda is fake
