With the Opus, you can do 2 mics at a time. Is there a way to do that in the WOS software (other than loading a copy of the same cab and micing it differently)?

I got the plugin to work with Ableton Lite. Now working on how to get my AXE FXII sound into it.
I'm having trouble with this or maybe I'm missing something I've downloaded all the download links and the patch link for macs because I'm trying to use it in garageband but I'm not sure where I can access the program within garageband or anything and cannot find anything in the finder on my mac

I have a Schecter 8 string, a Peavey 5150 II that I run through a Two Notes Captor loadbox, into my UMC Behringer USB interface. The amp sound on its own is fine, but as soon as I run IR's or Wall of Sound on any cab, even the dedicated metal ones, the gtrs sound boxy, 2dimensional and flat and lack that dynamism everyone else seems to be getting. What's wrong ?
Are you running the captor with it’s own cab sim on? You should have that turned off if you’re using wall of sound, otherwise you’re doubling up which will sound very bad. Without wall of sound, the signal should sound terribly bright like a box of bees (that’s how amps really sound before the cab adds it’s own tone)
@@adamsteelproducer Yeah I recently discovered I should turn off the speaker sim on the Captor. Still the same though. I mean the 5150 on its own sounds bright as hell, but it's still dynamic. It's when I turn on any kind of cab sim that the boxiness starts, and EQ's don't solve it.

Tried it earlier with the Friedman 412 rear blended with the own hammer Mesa + 1960A IR; great sound

Helpful for this plug...Kinda wish you used a middle crunch with a lead. Too much distortion for me to mix. But I mic cabs for real until after 10pm...Then I still use an amp with a cab sim direct out but never has enough organic tone even though tube amps with red box...Still prefer to mic as it sound more organic.. I wander how this would work with an J&K redox from a tube...Well I'll find out n9w

Any idea what the "contour" know actually does in simulation mode? Harmonics is the exciter, but I can't seem to figure out what contour is actually doing.
Would someone suggest this for sound manipulation/design of a SYNTHESIZER (instead of a guitar)?
+1. Would be helpful. I've tried as well using WoS for synth but most attempts makes the synth sound dull, the exception are synth sounds that are saturated; those are given character but need further processing to sound how I want them to. If someone has some tips, would be appreciated.
Hey there this might be an easy question for you to answer but haven’t figure out how to do it yet and it’s giving me a headache trying to find out, I was only able to use the virtual cabinets after recording a track , how can you use the cabinets while you’re playing …. Can you please help me answering this question? Thank you !!
Make sure monitoring is enabled on your track in your DAW so you get the sound in real time- also make sure your direct monitoring is turned off

This was a revelation! I am new to the whole IR thing and downloaded some IRs from Celestion but was pretty disappointed. It's obvious to me that this is the missing link so to speak. I went ahead and bought an IR package from Two Notes and I am looking forward to downloading them and the Wall of Sound later and digging in. Thanks for the AWESOME video! :)

Awesome video. Thank you. Awesome plugin, I discovered recently and it surprised me totally. I know I´m late to the show :) I am a sound-designer and synthesist as well as a keyboard-player / piano-player and I love this plugin. It is a sound design world for whenever I want to add the feel of playing things (that can be everything from foley to piano to synth to voice and whatnot) through a speaker or for just adding a special kind of tone on a mix or saturate something. Therefore the mix-buttom is essential :)
Do you know Meldas MCabinet? I would be interested what you - as having so much knowledge of guitars, mics and speakers - think about it and how legit it feels for you... take care. Cheers.
I’m thinking about buying a torpedo captor for recording my tube amp. will it be possible to monitor my live sound through this software, so I’m not listening to the raw sound of the amp head during the recording process
You have probably found your answer by now, but the answer is yes. Just add the WoS plugin to the channel you're recording on just like any other plugin and monitor from that channel. I just got a Captor myself and I'm figuring out all that it can do.
Unfortunately, I cannot get protools first to recognize this as a plug-in. Using latest protools and WOS AAX plug-in.

I buy the cabs! Haha the boutique is only supposed to be a demo, you buy the cabs to stop them dropping out. Otherwise there’s no reason to buy them

Well that’s the business model. You buy the extra cabs. You don’t use la boutique for cabs you already own, it’s just a demo method
without speakers? what difference do cabinets from different manufacturers make? for example if they all had celestion v30s in them?
The construction of the cabinet, material thickness, dimensions of the air cavity, position of the speakers in the baffle can all affect the sound in different ways, that’s why the cabinet is just as important as the speaker

No, wall of sound is free to download from the Two Notes website, and you own it with the purchase of at least one virtual cab

Your bigboy redback 2x12 ir in WoS is amazing, best ir i've ever heard!! im waiting for my captor, it comes with 15 cabs, but i will definitely buy this one too (my pod hd500 sounds 10x better with it, and i bet my Super Champ X2 will sound great too :D )

@@adamsteelproducer I don't think it's like that anymore, I bought 1 cab and I don't get the full experience like you do with extra mics and the whole EQ settings.
Are you in arcade mode? Try switching back to simulation. They’ve never stopped you using all the controls, unless maybe you’re still in Boutique mode which is like the demo shop
