This man's riffing always leaves my jaw on the floor. Impossibly tight, aggressive, powerful. This is an instant buy for me. I can't strangle my guitar like Erik but I'd love to have his cab tones to destroy with.
This might be one out of 2-3 IRs in total I have that sounded as good as my actual live tone...Especially that brit800 and the Recto sounds....well.....brutal. Worth every penny.

Can somebody record Erick tracking a cab ,capturing levels and showing his favorite sweet spot on where his guitars sit with drums an bass. It would be aaaamaaazing!!! I know impulses are great but ...when Erick stops using real cabs and mics on guitars on records than ill record with them . I mean there getting really good on bass . But harmonic analog saturation on death metal guitars is a special recipe .....

@@Epochstudios I sent his studio an email. The application I ask about is for OUTSIDE the studio, obviously, and without the use of an EQ pedal, running into a Marshall/Engl tube head. Louis Torres on youtube has offered the only reliable opinion on the Adler pickup for heavy rhythm guitar so far. If Erik has only used the Modern, then I am guessing he chooses "voice 2" for more bass output. Sadly, voice 2 lacks the amazing mids of "voice 1."

Upon Desolate Sands is such a muddy mix. That kind of riffing doesn't work for 7 string guitars with that much gain and that muddy mix. Death metal doesn't work with 7 strings because the notes become indistinguishable
The two notes interface is a nightmare. You need to hire a UX designer to redo your software. I keep losing my cabs and then I lose my way around the interface. I keep needing to resync my software with my account, and then I find that I'm in the wrong place; I get those moments of silence in my playing. Overall, the ruta cabs sound awesome, but your interface is garbage.
Ross from Two notes here - sorry you feel like that but we can guarantee Erik will be using these live so if you get the chance to see him play, there will be riffs galore!
