    I have a lot of respect for the 2T2’s. They are some of the busiest, hardest working folks I’ve worked with during my time in the CRW. I’m AGE (2A6X2). Thank you for bringing more insight on this career field!

    Enjoyed the video, 22 Yr retired mostly as 605/2T2.. worked ATOC mostly but also Pax and Freight jobs. Was a steward for couple of years as well. Did have 2 tours at OKO, 8 Years at SUU. 2 at SBD before they closed. Vietnam 2 tours.. So yes its a lot of work but was good for me. Keep up the good work.

    There's also a mobility flight. They did mostly TDYs. They would do all those sections but in one small traveling group. Usually in some cool city or country. If you're single, thats the best flight to be in.

      Best way I explain it is we are TSA/Fedex/UPS for the entire military. We deliver pax, vehicles, ammo, supplies. BUT we sadly don't fly with the plane lol. Also the AirTrans page on the Air Forces recruiting page is showing a loadmaster hyping up the job which obviously is not the same

    Daughter just got offered this job. She is very tiny and wondering if she will automatically be placed in passenger. Don't see her being able to lift heavy weight on a regular bases. Do they take this into consideration or is she going to be through tech and then they will place her somewhere else because she can't cut it?

    I ship for 2T2 September 24th and im excited. Whats your favorite and least favorite part of the job?

    • @KerenJoy
      @KerenJoy  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SlimNick my favorite would have to be the different sections and different position that are available. Of course depending on manning and needs of the unit will determine where you’re placed but at least there are options.
      Least favorite would have to be that it is a “mission essential” job. So that means for most active duty bases you don’t get off on holidays (we get these days back to us though) and you would need to be at least minimum manning even on snow days and natural disasters and what not.

    • @KerenJoy
      @KerenJoy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Medjed Bluu it really depends on your base. A lot of times I’ve heard of reservists and guard being able to volunteer and trade with someone. Some reserve and guard bases also consider the ones going to school, so it would really depend on your base and leadership

      Sarra Boblooch yes. There are many people who pursue college. Of course it’s going to depend on you and how much time you put into it. I’ve met people who are doing it slowly with one or two classes at a time but then there are a few who are doing 12-15 credits at a time. The Air Force encourages college so a lot of supervisors will be very understanding in that, but mission comes first as they say.
