This area is wide open and is much easier and safer to work on than the other portions given to the local contractors. CHEC has a much larger budget and is obviously flooding this section with a lot of workers. At least they have the luxury of being able to work in peace without worrying about getting run over by speeding drivers, or their work getting interrupted and delayed by bursting water pipes or other crumbling infrastructure found in the more populated areas.

Stop making excuses,it lack of oversight and miss management, they should've been putting up cones and signs to steer the traffic in the construction area's,they should have signs showing the fines for speeding in a construction area, the can put temporary speed bumps to slow down traffic in construction area.

@@ronskullie9380 Yes, one could say it’s definitely a lack of oversight and mismanagement by CHEC. As the Prime/General Contractor, CHEC is responsible for the overall success of the entire project. Not just the sections they are leading. Therefore, they should make sure that all the sub-contractors working below them follow the same or similar works processes and procedures for quality control and safety as they expect from their own workers. This stuff is generally written in the contracts.

@@JAHMAREK it's not chec fault it's the government who force our unprofessional contractors on chec,it's the government who is supposed to hire independent quality audit of the work that's being done,I guess u don't know about commercials contract especially of this magnitude,u don't let someone approve the work that they are doing for u,the Chinese are the best infrastructure builders in the world,if the work was left to them, their would be no issues but yet the local contractors was forced on to them,I don't have nothing against them but let's hold them to international standards, let not issue work to them because of political connections,or friendship,it's should've been on knowledge and qualifications.

@@ronskullie9380 You obviously don’t read with understanding, and quick to make assumptions and accusations about me and contracts issued in which you know absolutely nothing about the actual details. Good grief. However, in regards to this particular project, if you go watch the videos you will clearly see a quality control person representing CHEC, who is there doing a great job monitoring the work of Smith Asphalting for example. The vlogger even interviewed the person in his previous video. That doesn’t mean the client (NWA/Government) doesn’t have their own inspectors as well. Nevertheless, I am not a self-hater, or someone who is easily fooled with racist stereotypes and right wing talking points, or fall for the fallacy that other groups are better than my own. We need to uplift our people instead of finding ways to constantly tear each other down (sometime just for likes). No other group does that to their own.

@@JAHMAREK you need to bring a more eloquent argument than that,I don't even know u to say anything bad about u,this is not about a personal issue I'm just speaking in generalities, and I'm far fr right wing racist,I'm actually a pan African black nationalist who is against the white supremist colonizers syndicate,I have nothing against Chinese they are smart strong people who fought themselves out of yolk of the white supremist colonizers syndicate, all I'm saying is don't make excuses educate or selves do the best job, don't do half ass work because your just putting your country at a disadvantage, remember your children girlfriends wife's family members is going to use does infrastructure,so they need to be built right and built to last for the upliftment of the country.

People want to tell CHEC how to do their job by putting in their 2 cents worth, yet these people have never travelled to China to see the mega projects that they've completed; all of a sudden everyone is an engineer and trying to make suggestions let them complete the job, they have a proven track record. This is hands on training for our local workers observe and take note so in the future you'll have the knowledge.

CHECK should be putting in box culverts instead of those small black pipes that in the end will prove to be a waste of time and money.

Just common sense given the amount of water normally seen in the area. The local contractors would have been called all kind of names if they did something similar.
