Congo, Thrill of the River | Deadliest Journeys
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 19 มิ.ย. 2025
- On the legendary Congo River, Commander Aimé is at the helm of a gigantic wooden raft the size of a football field. With his men, he is trying to transport 220 tree trunks linked together by cables from Kisangani to Kinshasa. The raft is also the cheapest means of transport for the most deprived who wish to reach the capital. On board, danger is daily, injuries, sandbanks and storms do not spare the men. For those who take the trails along the river, the conditions are not better. Without public transportation, travelers have no choice but to board freight trucks for an epic journey.

It broke my heart in tears seing this kind of life of people in Congo. I came from the philippines. We were poor when i was young but the hardship i suffer is so much better than this. I had a lot of respect to these people. May the almighty God will bless you.

This type of hardshipness is a daily challenge for non Burmese Myanmar civilians, I eye witness them many of them were fled in our state Northeast of India

same here man! i have been humbled, i didnt realize how rich i am, even though i dont have alot of money. My basic needs are met daily just by me going to a job that im going to stop bitchin about. These folk have jobs that dont provide for their basic needs. Basic needs are food water and shelter. luxuries are plumbing, electricity. Imagine how these folks lives would be different if they went to work for 8 hrs or 12 a day with 2 days off a week and all of their basic needs with some luxuries met on a daily.

@MattyNelson-rs3ik it's not just Kagame, the United Nation is even through Kagame is helpinng the rebels in this war. Where do the rebels get their guns? The minerals are exported to Western countries so a lot of countries are involved is this. Even France, the United Nation, the United States, China , they are all involved in this just for natural resources, that's the issue. They would have lived a better life if they hadn't any natural resources in their soil.

What is good in Africa is the dignity of the people and their human values, although we are poor in terms of infrastructure and our wealth benefits some former colonial Western countries. Africa will need help outside the politics of corroboration. Our ancestors had fought the exploiters of our wealth and we were their slaves in our own land. Francophone Africa is no longer that of yesterday's numbness. Today's Africa requires the transfer of technology so that we stay at home in our countries, we are done with France, it is substituted by China in Africa. It is a real and sincere cooperator. This reliability allows us to develop and finish with the crackling of weapon
