Hi there, might be a silly question, but I have two identical macbook pro models (2019, 13') and one is locked, but in great shape physically, the other one I use daily, and has a very small crack on the bottom of the screen, someone tried closing the lid with something in there (AGH) [the plastic piece that says macbook pro] I have pretty good laptop/phone experience just with windows computers and a very little apple/macbook repair, how much risk is involved in the process and is it worth it or should I just live with the little crack? I can't afford to have two dead pc's all due to my stupidity of a tiny crack lol. thanks for any advice!!
It's pretty risky. I've cracked a screen trying to remove it and cost myself a lot of money.
Can the A2159 logic board be replaced with an A1989 logic board? because you can upgrade the processor. Thanx

Thank you so much for this! So I opened my MacBook because it wasn’t charging. Liquid got into the USB-C ports but nowhere else. It was clean and nice inside. I managed to clean it up and I can get it to come back on but now the keyboard is not working even though I’m pretty sure it’s connected just fine, the same way I saw in your video. The trackpad is not working either, even though the first time I got done putting it all back together it was working fine. I’ve tried reconnecting and doing this a couple of times now but now I’m wondering what could it be. Both bluetooth keyboard and the mouse work. So it has to be something I’m doing wrong and I can’t figure it out.
Likely bad trackpad or trackpad cable.
Even though it was working fine? There was no liquid anywhere else other than the USB-C port at the time. I only cleaned it up because after the computer lost its charge, it wasn’t charging at all but it never showed any problems prior to that. And even after I put it all back together the trackpad was working but not the keyboard. And then I went in trying to figure out what was wrong with the keyboard and now the keyboard and the track that wouldn’t work… and it is also now really slow for no reason. 😑🥲 It’s been a great day today lol.
@@lindas.4376 that's a trackpad issue. Thermal sensor is in there and Apple, being the assholes that they are, programmed the keyboard to not work if the trackpad has issues.
It was a dent on the “teeth” on the connector for the trackpad. Once I straighten that and connected it right, everything came back as if nothing had happened!! But you’re the only person naming everything as you disconnect and that was helpful to identify what was going on! Thank you!

Interesting to know amperage of the charger on the connection and make some mesures in comparaison with a border vieuw like Rossman do, no ??

@@ItsBinhRepaired i find very interresting when you explain each manipulation on the board, i am learning with you. The device for the control of amperage of the power Supply is cheap (Chinese) and the boardvieuw may be free on the web. I thing.

It's Binh Repaired & Reviewed.. Another cool video. Any idea on how to fix an iMac. It will not connect wirelessly anymore. I works fine hooked to an ethernet cord.
Did you test if it's a software issue by booting into recovery mode first?

Hey brother, I too have a similar issue. Spilled warm water. Black Screen, works perfectly with HDMI cable plugged in to a sec. monitor.
No issues with the macbook display monitor as well(as I took to a repair shop where my display was perfectly fine when connected another macbook pro)
The problem must be in logic board where CPU makes connection with the Monitor. What can I suggest the local macbook repair shop to do to solve this problem?
Depends where the water got to. Could be the screen and the connection.

@@ItsBinhRepaired I had already bought a kit from Amazon which stated I could repair MacBooks so I thought it would include everything I needed. I disconnected almost all the ribbons only to find my kit didn't have the Hex screwdriver. So annoying. I'll send my kit back and get the one you linked. Thanks mate.
