I have no words on how much your video’s mean to me. They are so concise, instructive, comprehensive and detailed at the same time. The amount of knowledge and detailed information your sharing is insane! I also like how you educate us on the different components that are inside the MacBook. I think you are saving a lot of people money by providing this tutorial and showing us how it is done, even for beginners like me I feel like it is very doable. My hands are already itchy. After watching a bunch of your content and this amazing video I feel like I’m ready to repair my dead MacBook Pro 13” A2338. I’m still debating if I should do it or not only because of my warranty (1 year warranty without Apple Care). Although I feel like liquid damage is not included and they will charge me with an enormous repair price. I’m not sure if it really is liquid damage but I suspect it. I really want to take my MacBook apart after watching hours of your amazing content. I’m certain I can repair it myself now, I almost feel like an Apple Technician (Genius) myself (haha)! Maybe I should give it a go? Do you think they will notice it If I take a look inside? After all I want to keep my warranty I guess? What do you think? But anyway, you are an amazing person for sharing this content with us for free. Please keep doing what you are doing, I’m certain this makes a lot of people happy and a little bit richer (haha).

I wish it made me richer haha It does a little, but a little more wouldn't hurt. Lol
If you're just removing the bottom cover, if you do it right, they won't know unless you use cheap tools that damage the screws.

@@ItsBinhRepaired maybe I give it a shot. I already (sort of) repaired my old MacBook by disconnecting the LCD cable because my screen is broken. Now I can use my external monitor without any problems. I also just ordered a new screen. I'm going to replace my old screen as soon as I receive the new one with the help of your tutorials. All thanks to you! At the end of my last message I was actually talking about you saving other people money. But hopefully it makes you a bit richer as well because you deserve it.

I removed my A2338 screen to try and use an external display but I can't get it to clamshell mode without a lid to close it with. Any idea where the magnets are for detecting a closed lid or the REED switch?
Or is there any other way to make it acknowledge there is no longer an internal display? Need to get it to clamshell mode without the screen.
    Would really appreciate some guidance!

I paused the video at eight minutes and 30 seconds. Because I wanted to tell you that the rubber O-rings for the speakers, go back on after you put the speakers back in. You put the O-rings in by screwing the speakers back down it will push the O-rings in.
Also, I still don’t know why you don’t use rubber gloves.??
It’s an extra precaution, to me I think it’s worth it. Especially when I’m working on a customers very expensive Apple computer. ☮️💜😊
