Ace & Shelah sit down with a couple who is managing one partner in a wheelchair and another couple where a partner dealt with suicidal thoughts during a low point and all three share what it looks like when they prioritize their individual and collective mental health. How you communicate with your partner when you’re at a breaking point is critical, so sit back and take some of the lessons these couples learned when they were struggling.

First off... Y'all doing whole counseling therapy sessions and I love it!! As a single woman I love to listen to these panels to get a different perspective and it's all very insightful. The underlying theme always circles back to being your best self and taking care of you to show up well in a ship. Really really awesome work guys keep it up!!❤❤❤

Just work on self focus on fitness ur health and mental health and wellness and get closer to the most high and focus on ur passions and goals and wait for the right moment to just come you’ll feel it you’ll feel feminity within self you’ll feel the energy it’s a spirit thing you know most high sent it’s a undeniable feeling BEEN IN MY RELATIONSHIP FOR 7 YEARS NOW WE GROWN FOR THE BETTER IN THE MIDST OF THE TURMOILS OF OUR OWN PERSON ISSUES BUT WEVE MATURED SO MUCH❤
I believe that this episode was the most AUTHENTIC couch conversation out of all the seasons. Wellness is so very important just to function in today's warped society where pointing fingers elsewhere is the status quo. Continued blessings to all the couples. THANK YOU for addressing so many factors in this one episode that can affect the individual AND the marriage. Ace and Shelah asked great questions, and the couples were willingly transparent. Their levels of comfort in where and who they are at this point in their journeys allowed them to share in such a beneficial way for us all. THANK YOU.
Couples wellness- such a thought provoking discussion and topic. We're interdependent and being one is deeply about holding space for the other and allowing them to go through their stuff even if the timing clashes with us needing to process our own things. It's a constant play/dance between learning, healing, and giving to self as well as the other. It's such a great learning and life experience if anything.
Thanks black love for sharing these conversations for us on youtube, who still grappling with their budgets, but can still access such rich healing conversations.
