This was great to see our young black MEN be so open and honest about how they feel, and how to show it's ok to be real about their transition in life as a man.
As someone who is preparing for marriage and children if the Lord allows..this was so beneficial. Thank you for this amazing show!
I believe it’s important to let our kids know that no marriage is 100% perfect. I never saw my parents argue. I thought their marriage was perfect. This affected my relationships coz I couldn’t stand disagreements.. anytime I got into any disagreements with the person I was dating, I called it quit
Yeah me too on the calling it quits part. I wasn’t raised by either parent. The tv shows and movies created my vision of relationships. If I had a disagreement with my partner I just assumed that they weren’t my person because that wasn’t supposed to happen with someone you love. It wasn’t until I met someone who read me like a book that I realized how flawed I am and sometimes need to be the one to change.
Tab got mad skills and is one of the best interviewers EVER! She and Chance are so relatable in every way! 🏆 🏅 👌 ✔
No shade to the other couples or episodes, but I really loved the maturity of the couples this episode. The husbands were so loving and invested in their wives. I love to see that. We need to see that so thank you!
I had HG once and it took 4 years for me to get over the trauma and get pregnant again. She's a superhero
Ayeee, Antonio! I used to drive that young man and his flag football team to there tournaments when he was in college. And I remember telling him that his mom raised him well and him telling me about how it was his dad that raised him to be the awesome gentlemen he grew up to be. It's so cool seeeing him sitting on the couch with one of my favorite couples discussing his kids and marriage and being the same example to his kids that his father was to him! Way to go Antonio and Fam! I love Tab and Chance!

Love the transparency throughout this conversation. Especially with Chance setting the tone for the younger couples to know its okay to be open and honest about real challenges grown folks experience throughout their marriage.
This was a great episode to see the husband's show so much compassion towards their wives during complicated times.
One beautiful thing about being married is my husband knows my heart and I know his better than anyone. We have hard exteriors but he as I can see the softness and vulnerbility, that's why he's my best friend as I am his.
This is wonderful, so very needed and Tab & Chance are wonderful hosts. The conversations are authentic. Each couple has major insight about the dynamics of parenthood. The growth and changes through out the years of both parents & children to adulthood happen very quickly My advice is to enjoy it & cut yourself slack as needed! Many blessings❤️🙏🏾. Hi Tabitha. This conversation is very straight to the point about marriage and the truth about having children in a marriage. I like what Chance said about the change in the marriage involving children, feelings are involved in that situation. Feelings can easily change.

Being a Parent to Adult Children is by far more challenging to me than any stage my children have been.
Phew that is one of the toughest stages of being a parent. A lot things I didn't see coming!

Wow great conversation. I really appreciated the different point of views. I also liked how the ice was broken right in the beginning. It really allowed the conversation to dive into a vulnerable but safe space which gave more authenticity to the conversation!

I suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum with my daughter too & vowed to not have more because it was life or death for us both. I’ve never felt so low in my life.

Me and my fiance are definitely going to add this to our healing and spiritual connection journey as we make our way to marriage and the altar we have been together 2 years in our blended family with one child from previous relationships we are 20 years apart and love each other and that's everybody and their own relationships we have our issues and go through stuff and I feel like y'all have said a lot of life and advice and experience that a lot of people go through my fiance is learning how to take accountability for his actions as well as becoming more emotionally connected and evolved and me I am working on not talking so many bombs LOL and learning to not be so angry at little things and big things so thank you guys because we both want black love and to celebrate them

Great episode. I wish there had been more about being a bonus parent and how that impacts things, especially from Tab and Chance. However, I love how all 3 sets of parents delved into the partnership dynamic of parenting.
I think they spoke around the relevance of the couples there( no outside children)...Maybe a future episode soon.
I agree…every interview I’ve seen where they discuss the children they never share their experience with Chance 1st born. I’m sure they will in time. It’s important and relevant in many relationships today. But great show I adore Tab and Chance what an amazing couple!
