  • CC502 - PRIVACY VS PUBLICITY
When you have a public relationship, whether an online presence as a business owner or you are public figures like Ace & Shelah, how do you balance what’s for you two and what can be shared with the world? Sometimes getting on one accord about what and when to share on social media can be a sore spot. In this episode of Couch Conversations, two wives who have built a strong social presence as a part of their successful podcasts share the boundaries they have agreed upon with their partners and Shelah discusses being an oversharer online and how she learned from it.

Commonality, clarity, transparency, intentions, and respect removes drama.

Facts do not post until after its resolved and cleared by both parties to release to the public.
Even if we get into an argument on vacation I will not post certain videos or photos until we are in a greater space or if its triggers it get deleted.

This is so good. I also find it interesting that all of the men are the private ones. The women are the ones that want to share. Love this conversation ❤

I so get it with the pink & green couple, especially the husband regarding social media. Korelle……..I love that you actually “like” your husband. 👏🏾👏🏾 love, love that!!!! Ditto.

    This chat is great.
There is a difference between men and women posting. Men are short and to the point for major events and Women post every hour about every topic. But I do like how the women said for privacy, they will post after the experience is over

Do not put your husband on a pedestal stool 🤷🏾‍♀️just saying because he is a man and they do mess up 🙏🏾🙏🏾not initially but sometimes it does happen. I know 37 years married ♥️and try to keep most things private.

I guess opposites truly attract because my boyfriend is not with the social media & I share my career aspect only bc I wish I saw ladies like me on social media

Wait so it’s interesting to see .. Koereyelle & Kendrick wearing the same thing from the other video ? But the hosts don’t have the same outfit.? Why did they change but the others didn’t ? Lol

I don’t think it hursts to post your significant other on your social media. Every woman wants to be loved out loud. It doesn’t have to be every day but there should be a significant presence of your love on social media. It shouldn’t matter what family friends or outside ppl think, it’s important to some women. Especially if your partner comments/flirts online, and their active on social media, try to reciprocate. It’s easy for ppl to say I’m private but it’s giving you’re single. This was such a gray topic to discuss in relationships.
