- In this video, I give my best tips for how to play Animal Crossing New Horizons and get you started playing the game. You will learn how to start a new island, how to back up your island, how to get a vaulting pole, how to unlock ladders, how to get all 8 materials from a rock, how to fish, how to catch bugs, how to catch wasps, how to catch scorpions, how to catch tarantulas, how to dive for sea creatures, how to make a money tree, and how to make the perfect snowboy.

I was more than 100 hours into my first playthrough before I realized you didn't have to hold down the button when fishing. Thanks for the refresher, I played the game back when it first released but then gradually stopped playing and then just stopped touching it completely, I put several hours into the game and had almost a 5 star island, but I've decided to just start over completely and get that brand new experience again, and hopefully play the game for like a whole year so I don't get upset about regional and seasonal specific bugs and fish

Ok, that one is pretty complicated, so that question needs it’s own video, but to get you started, check out the New Bay board on my Pinterest (here’s the link: pin.it/76OIhhP), I have the 12x12 diagram I use on there, I have successfully gotten all the hybrids with that method except the blue rose. Once I figure that one out I’ll be sure to pass my knowledge along!
I really want to restart because I hate that when I started I really never knew what I was doing and my Island is a mess. I just don't want to lose all my money and some items I've purchased 😫
You don't have to delete it if you don't want to! Most things can be fixed on your island 😊

9:05 Steps for Ladder
First Tom Nook gives you the Ladder recipe when you are working on placing the three villager plots. This happens because you donated five creatures to Tom Nook. Blathers will come to your island. The next step is that you gathered the materials to donate to Timmy and Tommy for Nook’s Cranny. The Nook Twins ask for help with their shop after you pay off your first loan of 5’000 miles for the Island Getaway Package.
After that Tom Nook will get a phone call during Announcements that someone is wanting to move to the island. You want to go and talk to him at residence services he will ask you to build and place the first Bridge. After that he will give you the three villager plots. He will also give you a bunch of DIY recipes that you will need in order to build the furniture for each of the plots. With these DIY recipes you will get the latter recipe. You need four of each regular wood, hard wood, and soft wood.

Honestly I got animal Crossing because I saw how everyone was playing and I thought it was a cute simple game but when I played it I got confused at first but I thought maybe I'll have to keep playing to unlock new things, and I didn't watch tutorials and anything and I'm still at the beginning and still confused lol so I watched ur video, and I'm still confused lmao I don't have patience so this game not the best for me but I'll still play it and try some stuff u explained, thanks for the video tho I'll keep coming back ❤
I felt that way about the original Animal Crossing game. It was back before TH-cam was around, so I couldn't look up tutorials and my friends didn't play it so I gave up because I didn't know how to get over the river lol
I have a new series that I'm working on where each video is one step in the game. It's coming out pretty slowly right now because I'm trying to also wrap up the videos I'm making for my forever island...but eventually it'll be a pretty beefy playlist with a lot of questions hopefully answered.

Great video, I just downloaded the game and I’m stuck lol! I asked Tom Nook for help he told me to go to the nook store & grab furniture I did that and he just keeps saying it everytime I ask for help lol I’m stuck 🤣but this video had a lot of tips thank you(:

Watching even though I’ve already made an island I just haven’t played in ages lol, the only reason I’m not restarting is bc I compiled all of the Nintendo super Mario collection or whatever it’s called
You get the Super Mario stuff in your Nook Shopping as soon as you unlock the Nook Shopping app, which I think is when you build the first version of Nooks Cranny. But it's ok to not restart if you don't want to! I like restarting to go back to the beginning of the game, but I'm also really happy that I still have my first island too because of all of the achievements and the museum is almost done and that took FOREVER!

@CrabbyChrissy to be honest I don't know 90 percent of the villages. I downloaded the phone app u recommended and saw just a large amount of villagers and I was just like wow. I wonder how traits effect the villager relationship
@bluesoul6803 yeah, so there are 8 personality types and all of the villagers in that personality type say all of the same things (all peppy villagers say the same things for example). So mostly it just comes down to what the villager looks like and what their house looks like. The houses can be changed if you have completed Happy Home Paradise, so that can matter less now. But I think there is another component too: your experience with a villager.
The reason I don’t like Ken is because I don’t like how he looks, I don’t always like his cranky personality dialogue, and because he autofilled on a few of my islands and then took forever to leave.
The only reason Chrissy is my favorite is because I love the dialog for peppy villagers, I love the color pink, and I think it’s funny that we share the same name.
@CrabbyChrissy ah ok. I just restarted my island because I hit the one year mark and I was still one star and I didn't know how to play. Watched your video and restarted. To be honest both of my starting villagers are weird looking haha. I did have Tybalt the Tiger on my last island and I would have to say he was my favorite because he was the nicest of everyone, but maybe I just accidentally gave him more presents than the others. Also it may be a good idea to touch on presents, wrapping paper, points, and what you can eventually do with your villagers

Hi! I use a capture card to link my Nintendo Switch to my computer (amzn.to/47TK8G3) - BTW that is an Amazon affiliate link so if you end up buying that card using my link, it helps to support this channel 💜 There are cheaper options, but Elgato is a great brand for streaming/recording gameplay, and a lot of creators recommend their products.
I use OBS (obsproject.com/) to record/stream. This software is free and it works great.
For editing my videos, I use DaVinci Resolve 18 free version (www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve). A lot of pro editors use this and the free version will come with more features than you will probably need.
I also use a Mac Mini as my computer because of preference and my budget, but a lot of creators prefer a PC instead. All of the stuff I linked above will work with either type of computer.

I just started but I’m confused because when Timmy and Tommy were there they didn’t give me any of the map or location options, does anybody know why?
You should get your map when you get your tent from them. It only pops up in the lower right hand corner of your screen when you aren’t moving. Once you get your NookPhone the next morning, you will have a map app on there and you can go in there to toggle the settings for that little one in the corner, as well as look at the map in full screen.

What I'm having trouble with is finding iron nuggets. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but digging holes behind me doesn't stop boulders from completely crumbling after 1 hit with the rock axe or shovel. I can't get more than 3 items from a boulder. What am I doing wrong??
If they break on the first try, you have eaten something, and that gives you super strength to break rocks and dig up trees. Don't eat anything (fruit or stuff you've cooked or those cute snacks and drinks you can buy at Redd's raffle or coffee) before you hit your rocks. If you haven eaten something, you can sit on the toilet to clear our whatever you have eaten.
Once you dig the holes, you will want to spam the A button so you will hit the rocks as fast as you can. It only gives you a certain amount of time to get your hits in before it doesn't give any more materials. You'll know you got everything you can from a rock if there are 8 items surrounding the rock. I hope this helps!
Hello!! I’m a new watcher and I saw in your video that you said after you pay your debt of 5000 miles in the beginning of the game Tom will ask u to build a bridge. However he never asked me to do anything of the sort.
What does he say when you talk to him? (That's how you know which step you are on...you might have to place the museum tent or build the shop first).
I have played on my husbands but I finally got my own switch so I’m excited 😊

You can always plant more! You can buy the saplings from Timmy and Tommy, plant fruit and money trees, or by digging up fully grown trees from nook mile islands and Kapp’n islands.

I found a long list when I searched in the discover section. If you don't have discord, there are also a lot of people on twitter and instagram too! I think those are your best options because you can DM your friend code vs posting it publicly.

Hello! I love the video and it’s been helping me a lot I’m just having a hard time logging into the guide app that you suggested I’m not sure what the switch code, dream ID, and creator ID is And I haven’t been able to find a video explaining how to log in
You don't have to log in unless you want to back up your data on the app. If you want to find that option, you can click on the book icon on the top left of the screen to display a list of options. Scroll to the bottom and you will be able to Login and Backup. The options I see on my app are to either sign in with Apple or sign in with Google.
As for the codes you were asking about, those are optional to record on the app, if you want to be able to access them easily. Your switch code is referring to the friend code for your switch, which you can find in your profile for the account you use to play games (It starts with SW). Dream ID refers to the code you are given when you share your island as a dream through Luna. You can access this by laying in your bed and asking to dream. You can save your island here, or you can visit someone else's island too (It starts with DA). I believe the creator ID is referring to your HHP creator code, which you get when you share your vacation homes to the internet. You will be given an RA code, and it works similarly to the DA codes. I believe you can access this in the HHP app on your Nook Phone.

I’m not sure how the Etsy custom amiibos work, but I do know you can get Raymond’s amiibo in the series 5 packs. My mom got a bunch of series 5 packs for Christmas and she got Raymond twice 🤯

Ok, I would talk to Tom Nook and see what he says. If there is a step you're missing, he will tell you what that step is.
Hi chrissy! Thanks for the video!!! I have a question …I started the game in pocket camp on a iPhone. I liked so much that I bought a Nintendo switch lite but I can’t find any information if it’s possible to upload my progress from a pocket camp to my Nintendo switch?
If you link your Nintendo account to Pocket Camp, then you will be able to buy some Pocket Camp items from your ABD in Resident Services (my favorite one is the campsite sign), but you won't be able to sync your progress from Pocket Camp over to New Horizons because they are two separate games that unfortunately don't talk to one another.

You don’t have to reset if you don’t want to. I do want to say that there are ways of getting him back. You can use his amiibo, you can get him from a friend or treasure island, you can villager hunt, or he might autofill back onto your island.

I got them from Isabelle during the fireworks shows in August. I think they are Sunday nights, but she will announce it when they are happening on your island. She gives you a random color, or you could get the heart boppers which are also cute!
I still haven’t gotten the DIY for the ladder from Tom.. this is my first time playing so i’m super confused lol! I paid off my house but haven’t found all the iron nuggets for Tom’s new workshop.. is that why i haven’t received the ladder?
You get the ladder when Tom Nook gives you the 3 villager houses to place down and build furniture for. I think you do that after you build the first version of Nook’s Cranny. If you are having trouble getting the iron nuggets from just hitting your rocks every day, use a Nook Miles Ticket to go to a mystery island and hit those rocks. Your starter villagers should also give you some iron to help you build the shop (or sometimes they give you a shovel to help you get the materials easier) and if you have a slingshot, you can also get iron from balloons.

Can you not change the map with the terraforming tools ???
You can change a lot with terraforming, but you cannot change where the river goes into the ocean, the beaches, the rocks, where the airport is, or where Resident Services is.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. Do you mean can you use the stuff you got from your friends towards your island rating (getting 3 stars unlocks a lot of stuff like cooking, which is part of crafting)? If that’s the case, you can use all of it - the items to decorate and you can plant the trees, flowers, shrubs, and crops and they will all count towards your island rating. If your question is something else, I would be happy to answer it!
Hi I have a question. So I have the pole, donated 5 creatures, and placed the museum. They have moved into the Museum too. I paid off the 5’000 to Tom Nook. Also what materials do I have the give the twins? The Nook twins haven’t asked me for help yet.. So three villager plots are the two for the animals and the museum? Im trying to get Nooks cranny and donate the materials to Timmy & Tommy. Currently Tom Nook wants me to buy a house am I supposed to do that first? I think I have most of the steps done but I’m not doing them in the right order. I’m so confused lol
Yes, you have to build your house before you can move on to the next step.
After you build your house, you will walk into the Resident Services tent and get the cut scene of Timmy and Tom Nook talking about the stop and then the next time you talk to Timmy to buy or sell, he's going to bring up getting materials for the shop. He's going to ask you for 30 of each hardwood, softwood, wood, and iron nuggets. He doesn't care how you get the materials, so you can harvest them from your own island, you can go to a Nook Mile island (with Nook Mile tickets from the Nook Stop in Resident Services), or you could get them from a friend or treasure island. Once you place down Nooks Cranny it'll give you the 3 plots.
When I say 3 plots, I mean houses for 3 new villagers (not counting the two you start with), and that's when Tom Nook gives you the DIY recipes for the furniture for those plots and also the ladder recipe.

Hello! I had ACNH ever since it came out but recently just 5 days ago, I restarted the game. I just have a question about Luna's bed (The dream bed thingy). How do you get it? I already have the updates, I already upgraded the house from tent to house (Not fully), and I also have Nintendo Switch Online. I dint get any letter from Luna and none of the beds doesn't letting me dream. I did a lot of research but couldn't help. Do I need to wait like one week? Or like do I need to have at least 5 villagers (Since I only have 2 villagers)? Please help me, thanks! :D
I'm not at the point on an island where I can test this, but I think you unlock dreaming once Resident Services upgrades. This should happen after you have 5 villagers moved onto your island. Is your Resident Services upgraded yet?
I just got the bed and apparently, you cant get Lunas bed until you upgrade your tent and also until you get your 5th villager. Also Thanks :D

I know this is really dumb question but I am a beginning to play animal crossing and idk how to change my shirt (in the game) could anyone help me?
That's not a dumb question! There are a few ways you can do it...
1. You can go into your pockets and then at the bottom next to where the bells amount is, there is a clothing icon. If you click that, you can take off whatever you are wearing.
2. If you have a shirt (or any clothes) in your pocket, you can press A and it will give you an option to wear it (and it'll automatically take off what you are wearing to replace it with the new thing you want to wear.)
3. You can change your outfit with a wardrobe if you have the clothes you want to wear stored in your home storage or in your pockets.
4. By going into the fitting room at Able Sisters, you can try on the clothes they have for sale that day and you have the option to buy them and wear those clothes out of the store.
5. You can wear a custom design, which you can find in the custom design app on your Nook Phone. (Just click the design you want and choose the wear option).

They kind of have it in the nook mile achievements. There is also an app for your actual phone/tablet. It’s called ACNH.Guide and you can assign yourself a daily checklist of stuff to do. They start you off with talking to your villagers, checking turnip prices, digging up your fossils, making your money tree, getting your bottle on the beach, and finding your visiting NPC for the day. You can also filter it so you know what bugs, fish, and sea creatures you still need if you are trying to catch ‘em all, and you can add other stuff too if you come up with your own quests.

I think he would really like Animal Crossing. Once you get past the tutorial part of the game, you are free to build and decorate how you want, kind of like how you can in Minecraft. If he already has friends or family who play the game, it's a great way to connect with them! I have a lot of family members that I play with and we trade items and send each other gifts in the mail all the time. I would not recommend having him look for people to play with on social media though (which is how I have found people to play with online). A majority of the people I interact with in the Animal Crossing community are really nice, but I have run into a few people who are unkind, playing the game in a more adult way, and even a few who were predatory.

Once you get the ladder from Tom Nook you should be able to buy it in Nook's Cranny. It's in the cabinet.

@@sophiemariealex hmm, keep checking because you should have it, it should be at the bottom of the list, in the section with the tools.
How do u get the mini map off the screen
If you look at the map app on your Nook Phone, you will be able to change the settings for the tiny map that is always on the bottom right of your screen. You just have to press X until you get the setting you want (always on, always off, or off while moving).

If you delete the island, it deletes it for all of the people on the island. You can delete a single account through the starting screen of the game if they aren’t the resident representative, or you can transfer that player to another island if you have the island transfer tool.
if you restart your island and you have happy home paradise will you still have it on your new island?
You will still have access to Happy Home Paradise on your new island, but when you delete your island it also deletes your progress on HHP, so you will have to restart that as well.

When u restart ur world in December it will be snow will the map change in spring?
If you set your island to Northern Hemisphere when you reset in December, then yes, you will have snow. The snow will switch back to grass at the end of February and will gradually change to a more vibrant green as you get into summer.
How to save, my daughter got this and eveytime she goes to play it again ot goes back to the beginning
She has to get to the point where it says she’s synced to real time. (Tom Nook will tell her to go sleep in her tent, she will have a dream about KK Slider, then Tom Nook will ask her to come out of the tent to get her NookPhone and her bill.) once she is at that point, it will give instructions on how to save, but she just has to press the minus button on the top left joycon and give you an option to save. Once it says it has saved the game, she can press the home button and close the game.
After that point the game will periodically auto save (you will see a circle in the top corner of the screen), but when she is done, it’s always a good idea to save before she quits so she doesn’t lose any progress.
This may sound stupid… how do I get a shovel, I cannot build a shovel yet… I can build everything except a shovel lol. HELP
You should have gotten the shovel from Blathers the first time you spoke to him (he gives you the vaulting pole at the same time). If you are not the first player on the island, then I don't think he gives it to you, so you should be able to buy the DIY from Timmy and Tommy (if they have their shop, it'll be in the cabinet).

Have you tried talking to Tom Nook or Timmy and Tommy? I'm pretty sure that the cut scene where Tom Nook gives you instructions will start once you get on the dirt patch around Resident Services, but if it hasn't, then I would start talking to the animals and see if that gets things moving.

You can play Animal Crossing on any of the Nintendo Switch models (original, OLED, or lite). You can buy a physical game card and play that way, or you can buy a digital copy of the game via the Nintendo eShop, or by getting a code from a store (Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.) and entering the code into the redeem section of the Nintendo eShop. Once you have that, you will have most of the features, but if you want to play with friends, you will also need to purchase the Nintendo Online subscription. Happy Home Paradise (the New Horizons DLC) is also sold separately. And if you want to, you can also purchase Amiibo cards that you can use to add villagers to the island, decorate their vacation homes in HHP, or have coffee with them in Brewster's Cafe.

If you water black roses with a golden watering can, you can sometimes get gold roses. In order to get the black roses, you need two red roses from seed bags. There are certain percentages in which you are more likely to get certain colors, but the likelihood always goes up when you are also having your friends over to water your flowers. Over time, I was able to get all of the flowers on my own from just watering the breeding garden I set up...except for the blue rose, which I think is the hardest flower to get in the game.

If the river is 2 tiles wide or less, you can jump the river without a vaulting pole, just by pushing your left joystick in the direction you want to go.

If you have all 10 of your villagers, you have to wait for one of them to ask to leave. If you have a campsite villager, they can kick out one of your existing villagers if you agree to it. I think you can kick out a villager also by using amiibo cards, but I'm not 💯 on this because I'm in the middle of testing it (I heard about it, but never saw anyone actually do it). Once you have a free spot, you can let it auto fill, you can go on a villager hunt (using nook mile tickets), or you can use amiibo cards.

When I talk about storage, I mean your house storage. You get your house storage when you build your house (upgrade after the tent) and then each time you pay off that part of your house, Tom Nook allows you to purchase a new room/more storage space. You can get 6 rooms in your house that each come with more storage space, and then after that you can purchase additional storage space a few times. All of this can be obtained by asking Tom Nook about your home.
Additionally, you can also purchase/craft something called a storage shed, which allows you to access your home storage without having to go into your house (great for decorating outside or avoiding your villagers visiting you 😂). This isn’t unlocked until after you have all 6 rooms and purchase additional storage a few times and then you can find it in miles redemption.

Is it important to donate all of your first catch to museum?
It depends on if finishing the museum is important to you. Catching all of the critters is pretty difficult (you have to either play consistently for an entire year, or you have to do a lot of time traveling), and the more rare critters can be really difficult to get to spawn more than once. If you want to complete the museum, then I would definitely donate the first of everything you catch. But if that isn't important to you, then you can go ahead and sell whatever you catch or ask CJ or Flick to make models with them.
Completing the museum is important to me, and I actually am still working on it almost 4 years later on my forever island (I just have some art left, but all of the other sections are finished!). You will get posters from Blathers for each section of the museum that you complete. If you don't donate everything, but have caught all of the fish for example, you will still be able to get the golden fishing rod DIY.

It all depends on your personal preferences and what you have in mind for your island. I generally advise that you pay the most attention to the parts of the map you can't change (locations of Resident Services, the airport, the secret beach, the river mouths and the size and shape of your peninsula), but if you are doing a challenge like no terraforming, you might also care about other features of the island.
Bottom line is that if you like the map you have chosen, then that's the best one. 💜

In order to go from a tent to your house, you need to pay off your moving fees with Tom Nook (the 5,000 Nook Miles for doing stuff around the island). Once you have enough miles, you need to tell Tom Nook you want to pay it off and then he will bring up the idea of the house. You have to talk to him again to ask him to build it. Once you do that, you will have your house the next in game day.
The airport will open up on the second in game day. You don’t have to do anything, it’s just open. Then you will be free to go to Nook Mile islands (for materials and villager hunting) or to visit with friends.
You have to wait for one of your villagers to approach you (they will say something above their head and run towards you) and then they will teach you how to do reactions. Every once in awhile, they will come up to you like that again to teach you a new one. There are other ways you can get new reactions, but it’ll be easier to explain if I made a video about it.

Hi I recently purchased this game and I am also a member of expansion pack it says that I can download the animal crossing home paradise also, however when I click it says £22 something to pay? does anyone tried downloading it and did it charge your card?? We also have the Expansion Pack (the one that comes with N64, Game Boy Advance, HHP, the extra Mario courses, etc.) and the way I downloaded HHP was to go in through Nintendo Switch Online (the smaller circle under the game list all the way to the left). Then on the left hand side, I scrolled down to + Expansion Pack. On the top of the right side of the screen, there is the list of all of the things you get, so you scroll over to HHP and then click details and it will take you to the place where you can download the DLC.

How to like build a house for Noob
Hey team, I have my game as New York time zone, current and I never got snow. I have had all the holiday fun and never got snow. I have changed my date to 12/11 and I never got snow. Can someone please help me figure out what I did wrong with my account? I chatted with someone in Nintendo and they said I needed to reach out to Animal Crossing, but when I tried to get into with them - they kept directing me back to Nintendo. Thanks!
When you started the game, did you choose southern hemisphere? You can test this by time traveling to between May 26 - August 24 and if you have snow, then your island is set to southern hemisphere. I am also in the NY timezone, and I have my island set to the northern hemisphere and am currently experiencing snow on my island.

How are you able to put patterns on the ground?
You can make or download custom codes to put on the ground. You can place those codes on the ground in two different ways. If you have 3 stars and have the terraforming tools, you can get the permit to lay down the custom codes. If you don't have the terraforming tools, or you don't feel like going into construction mode, you can use the custom codes app on your phone (off the top of my head I think it's the pink one with a pencil on it). You would select the design you want and then pick the option for display on ground. In terms of placing it in a specific square, that's a little bit more complicated than I could easily explain here in the comments, but I've added "custom codes tutorial" to my list of videos to make🙂

It sounds like you might have downloaded the island transfer tool instead of the game file. Island transfer is a free file that you can use to move your island save data from one switch to another. If you are playing for the first time, you don’t need that, just the game file. If you download the game directly from Nintendo, it’ll cost you $60 USD.

Tom Nook doesn't give you the shovel, Blathers (the owl inside the museum tent) does when you talk to him for the first time. If you still don't have it after you talk to him (it's in your DIY recipes app on your Nook Phone), then you can purchase the DIY from Timmy (he should still be inside Resident Services at this point).

When you get on the island, you have to pay your moving fees (5,000 Nook Miles). Once those are paid off, Tom Nook gives you the option to change your tent into a house. But the basic rule to follow if you get stuck is to ask Tom Nook what you should do and he will tell you whatever the next step is in the tutorial. By the time you hit 3 stars, you should have a pretty good understanding of how everything works.

It looks like you figured it out already, but I'll answer anyway in case anyone else is wondering.
You learn the recipe for medicine after getting stung by wasps (you shake trees to find the wasps). After you are stung and your eye is swollen, talk to your villagers and one of them will give you the recipe. The recipe is a wasp nest and some weeds, so it's pretty easy to make it. Just have the items you need in your pockets and use any crafting bench.
If you would rather buy the medicine, Timmy and Tommy offer it in their shop over in the cabinet.
How do I make the game turn into morning🎉
The game follows the time on your Switch, so if your Switch is synced with real time, it will be whatever time of day it is for you. Or you can change the time on your Switch to whatever date and time you want it to be in game by changing them in your Switch settings. Be careful doing this though, because it might spoil your turnips in game, but it will also break Disney Dreamlight Valley if you play that game too.

You should be able to definitely remove it with a mirror, but I think you can also go into your pockets and click on the blue t-shirt at the bottom next to the section about bells and remove the face paint in there. Let me know if you have any more questions! 🙂

How can I get married on game
There isn't a function in the game that allows you to get married, but June is Wedding Season in the game, where you can collect wedding related furniture. I've seen people use the Wedding Season stuff to decorate their island to be a wedding. From there you can role play getting married if you want to.

@benevolentarden yes. If you want to do anything online (visit other islands, download custom codes, dream of other islands, etc) you need to buy Nintendo online. If you are visiting someone’s island who is in the same room as you, you can use local play instead.

Not decorted started yestordsy i am bad at decorting and need help to get better at it
@Ilkemyfans1234 I think it just takes practice and it helps to know what you’re going for (like a specific theme or style). But some pointers that have helped me are to put taller stuff in the back like trees or bamboo or some of the taller items and then gradually decrease the height of items so the shortest things are in the front. That will help with creating depth. I also recommend putting items on half tiles (so you can scoot them once so the item isn’t in line with other items) so the builds don’t look super boxy/they look more natural. I also really like adding in paths (there are some really cool custom ones that people made…you can find the codes for them on Pinterest, instagram, or twitter) as well as natural items like the trees I mentioned but also bushes and flowers. There are also some really great fences in the game that can be customized so you can use different colors depending on what you’re going for. If you are having trouble getting the items you want, you can always go to Treasure Islands. There are a bunch of free ones that stream on TH-cam and twitch - that’s usually what I do when I need items.
