The ship sank and a lot of the horses swam for several miles to the nearest island and then just stayed there and repopulated. They’re called chincoteaque ponies or something like that. Again, could be totally remembering that wrong but it’s fascinating stuff!
The original horses were actually not wild, but when they reached Chincoteague they and their descendants became wild. Its a pretty cool story for sure!
Actually, to raise money the fire department leads them across the water every year to the mainland, where, to manage their population which gets too high very quickly, they auction some of them off. But the horses love it, and get taken care of the whole time :)

Assuming each time you dig it counts as a cubic meter. you dug 118 cubic meters (shown in the video) According to United States law the first unlawful cubic meter dug is a $1,000 fine and all subsequent violations within a 3 year period are $3,000. So according to the footage shown in the video, you would owe $352,000 in unlawful digging fees. Additionally 10 trees were shown chopped down in the video. Each tree chopped down without a permit (not taking into account trunk sizes) would be a $250 dollar fine & 15 days in prison. So with all if the laws broken caught on video, you would owe $354,500 and a little bit under 5 months in prison.
The pain I felt for you when I saw you broke apart the land 1/2 space at a time, not knowing that you can do full spaces (because half spaces automatically break whenever the adjacent whole is destroyed). Could’ve cut each acre from one hour down to a half hour lol
It's a massive shame because it's a lot of fun, I bought a Switch specifically so I could do this while maintaining a more normal island on my main, definitely think they should give you the choice of having an island per account or joining the main island
Or you could hack you switch. It definitely makes playing Animal Crossing a breeze since I can always load back my save data that Nintendo hates to save. Even if you pay them to do so.
Honestly you can like. Make your town look like an ocean village now. Make little islands and make bridges. Think Pacifidlog Town from pokemon ruby/sapphire/emerald. You did the hard part. Now you can do some dope things
It would have been amazing if we had some way of transport across rivers, something like a kayak would have been so cool and would have made a water based island much more of a reality, getting around a Pacifidlog Town inspired island would be next to impossible unfortunately!

Watching you break every block twice (breaking it into a slant, then breaking it again) physically hurt. If you break alternating blocks, then backtrack and break the remaining blocks, you won't slant them, and will just break the entire block in two hits, rather than four, so you only need to break them once, cutting your time down emmensely

You know, watching this video made me realize something; Swimming's not in this game, even though it was in "New Leaf". I think they should add swimming into "New Horizons", not just for the Players, but for the Animal Villagers too. Think of how creative people could get with making a large water-centric island for everyone to swim around in.

You know, watching this video made me realize something; Swimming's not in this game, even though it was in "New Leaf". I think they should add swimming into "New Horizons", not just for the Players, but for the Animal Villagers too. Think of how creative people could get with making a large water-centric island for everyone to swim around in.
I'm not gonna lie. TH-cam has recommended this video to me at least once a week for the past year. I finally caved. I was not, yet also was disappointed.

@@froggiebeans6928 a good tip is, dont eat any fruits before hitting rocks. they work like money rocks. u can hit up to 8 times. then eat a fruit to break the rock and get an extra stone. if u go to mystery islands with nook miles tickets u can find more rocks!! unfortunately, the bunny day even will replace some with eggs, but still. ^_^
