My first (and only) new car: 1974 Honda Civic. About $4,000. CVCC engine. Sold it to my brother. Lasted many years.
Unlock button: Press once + press and hold to roll windows down
Lock button: Press once + press and hold to roll windows back up
Now that's a feature I want to see.
The roll down has been a feature for years, and I've wondered why they haven't made it as simple as the reverse to roll them up
My Volvo S40 from 2006 can do this
I’m thinking liability if there’s a child or pet sticking their head out and you’re rolling up the windows without looking
Probably a safety issue. Alot of these honda's are bought with people with kids or pets so it might be a liability thing. Even though it might have a built in saftey pressure feature if that fails they probably dont want any lawsuits
Then buy a volkswagon?

Hii jason i got my civic 2022, it was perfect last night, today morning the fob doesn’t work, so I tried manual kry to get in but it doesn’t show any power at start button or on dashboard

Was really hoping at 0:30 you'd say there's finally a way to CLOSE the windows with the keyfob!!
Instead you have to take the key out, lift the door handle, put the key in the lock, and turn the key twice to simulate the same action that could have been done on the fob.
Lock and Hold Lock, since opening is Unlock and Hold unlock. Real silly this isn't included honestly.
*edit, this could very easily be a software update but will inevitably end up requiring you to buy a new car when they add it to newer models*

Hey Jason! I want to buy the new Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring with the CVT. If I use Hondata to tune the engine, how much hp/torque can I get? Also...can my local Honda dealership install Hondata for me? I don't want to void the warranty.

I live close to McGrath Honda in Elgin, unfortunately I couldn’t buy my type R from them. The ADM was too high, I got it a brilliance Honda in crystal lake.

I just got a 2022 LX, ,I got the dealer to throw in 4 matching steel wheels to use as a winter set for next year
And use the same hub caps of course
I heard that I can buy clone tpms sensors, so that when I switch over, the car will automatically read them
Is this true
The salesman said no, I would have to bring the car in and have them reprogram the new sensors every time I switch over for a fee of course, but some times salesman lie, I get a feeling this is one of those times

Got a question for anyone. Is there any way to reset the tuned radio channels without reseting the whole system of my 22 Civic. I've already reset the system but 3 channels (not local) didn't delete. Thanks!

I don’t know how big you are but the new Civic is the size of a 2010 Accord sedan. It’s no longer little for most people.

With all these cars using a turbo motor now, do you think it is safe to wait for the maintenance minder to tell you when the oil needs changed or just change every 5k since the turbos run hotter.
Maintenance reminder lasts for 5k either way for my turbo’d model

My daughter just purchased a 2022 Civic a week ago, just a few minutes ago, she calls me, that her dashboard lights aren't working properly, when the car is turned off, the left side of the dash is on and right side nothing lights up. What could it be.

I really wish you could close all the windows (like with the key) but with the fob. Maybe lock then hold lock and it closes everything. I would use this way more then the windows down with the fob.
I wish the window control setting could allow you to roll the windows UP from the remote. I'd rather be able to leave them cracked and if it starts storming be able to roll them up without going out into the storm.

Jason, the 8th & 9th gen of the Civic didn't have the tunnel bulge before the back seat.
I really don't understand the need for it - we all knows the Civic is a fwd, so what is the reason for it in the 10th, 11th gen??
This bulge damaging the legroom space, specially for the mid back seat!

Does the Touring get less mpg due to it's larger wheels?
It’ll be a bit less due to weight and tires, but will beat conservative EPA rating.
@@CKPHH What I'm saying is in relation to the EX the Touring gets less mpg and hence my question. My guess is due to wheel size.

yes, it resets every time you start the car. Just make sure not to hit the button under Econ which activates the idle-stop system.

No.. you cannot permanently disable it. You have to turn it off every time you get in the car. There’s your intelligent answer.
@@beepbop162 company called idle stopper . Bypassing system for less wear and tear on engine. I don’t own a new civic but once one is available for me I’ll buy the idlestopper module.

Pretty sure you can do the trick he just showed where you hold the unlock button and all the windows will open or if you hold lock then all the windows will close. All hondas have that, even my old 2001 civic had that feature

If you have the Hatch, you do not get a coin tray. The hidden civic easter egg is printed on the rubber mat at the bottom of the console. Found it by watching this video, just had to look a little harder ;)

Yikes I just bought a 13 civic for way more than I should have paid from carmax. Bad credit from student loans and limited funds for down payment. Wasn’t expecting to lose my 03 accord with 240k to a head on collision. It was baby and would have gotten to 500k I am 100% sure of it. This video makes me wish I’d been able to drive my accord anothe few years till prices come down. :(.

Easter egg under the center console rubber pad that is removable, trunk can be unlocked from the backseat headrest area.
