FIX Broken Center Armrest Handle - Land Rover LR4 Discovery 4

Hey my Land Rover friends! 👋 🚙 In today's video I have to remove traces of the predecessor on our Land Rover LR4 Discovery 4, which came to damage due to the handling. In this case it is the handle on the centre armrest. A PIN has been torn off and the aluminium foil has already been removed. The foil is so sharp in places that I cut my finger when I touched it, so the part had to be replaced.
I have to admit, I thought the job would be done quickly. However, the assembly turned out to be a little more fiddly than expected, but see for yourself 😄

Hi there im watching you closely , i have the exact same noise coming from my disco , opened to top up to find 2 failed hydrolic lifters , replaced all and i still have the noise , im now thinking timing chain tensioner even though these were replaced 10k miles ago , have you got to the bottom of yours yet ?

Hello from Australia! Great video, and just the kind of thing I was looking for. The other part I am going to replace is the handle on the Upper Glovebox in my Disco 4. If you have this in the future, I would love to know.

Hey thanks, not at the moment but I'm thinking of changing the plastic shelf above the upper glove compartment as it's a bit scratched. Greetings from Austria, Peter
