Hi, I have a 2008 Discovery 3 like yours, my question is the Defender rims fit right on or do you have spacers or such. Plus are the 20in wheels 🛞 or more. Thank's and nice Rover.
Have you had any issues with the bearings and or related parts. Can you make a vid showing where you had to make adjustments to fit the wheels. They look sick and I'm lining up some defender wheels right now 😃
I haven't had any bearing issues yet but I’ll let you know when I do because I am running spacers now too so it's bound to happen lol. The only modifications I made to fit the wheels were cutting small parts of the inner fender off where the chunks of tread rub on full lock. I have a lift fitted too but it still doesn't stop them from grounding out when going around a tight bend a little too quick 😆
@@SPL88 Hiya! These wheels are 20 inch with a 60mm sidewall so they are a total of 32 inches in diameter. I am also running 30mm wheel spacers to help with the wheel rubbing a 2.5 inch lift and had some metal trimmed back in the wheel arch recently too.
Very capable motor ,its a great day out there good to see it still going .when I get my next 4x4 I will be back .
It's a great little place there's lots of obstacles of many different difficulties. There's a few sections where you definitely need a roll cage!

Impressive, I like 👍
What tyres have you got on?
Hi there, I really enjoyed your video. I'm putting together an offroad compilation of the Discovery and wondered if you would like to be included?
Glad you enjoyed the video. No problem with the compilation by the way go ahead!
@@xenosautomotive1796 Thank you, I will be sure to credit your channel as the source of the footage
Nice looking disco
Thanks!

Is your disco fitted with a rear locking differential?
Yes my one is fitted with an electronically locking rear diff from the factory
Are the wheels from the new Defender? Nice truck.
Yes they are!
@@xenosautomotive1796 oh wow. Do they fit perfectly or you needed spacers? I’m assuming they are 18inches? Thanks!
