Seeing John defend himself from the T-X at 2:24 was just so cool. It shows that he is not scared to fight the cyborg who has been sent to terminate him again. It is nice to see that he does not always have to depend on the T-850 to be protected from the T-X.

You're both correct. John was off the grid which meant the machines couldn't locate him. The T-X was sent back through time to eliminate his leutenants and his wife Kate. The T-X initially had nothing to do with going after John Connor and the only reason it even started going after him was because she identified his blood at the vet's office and realised he was recently there!
Since the T-X Is a machine it was thinking how to eliminate Kate in the best and logical way and it calculated that it would be faster to just shoot her from a distance since it saw no need to get closer to Kate.
Kristanna loken makes the movie so good with their hair tied like that because it gives of the vibe that she’s serious and that it would get in her way if it was down which shows that she doesn’t want anything stopping her from killing John etc

Yeah, i have to agree. In my opinion, T3 wasn't that bad. I guess some people don't like it because it had a little bit of comedy here and there and the movie wasn't as "serious" as the previous 2 movies. But to this day, this film has something that i haven't been able to forget and that is the ending. It left me speechless and kinda sad because the good guys ended up losing in the end after everything they went through. I would give it a 7 out of 10 at least.
I don't know when you were born. I actually seen t2 when it was released to cinemas and before that t1, few years after it was in cinemas. There is no room for comparison. James Cameron said many times that he ended the saga with t2 and that the sequels (including 3) are far from being appreciated by him. He now works on his sequels which will ignore t3/4/5 and continue from where t2 ended. I totally disliked t3 and didn't bother to watch t4 and t5 (I understood they are crap too from the little I watched, but after t3 I had no expectations). T3 is lack of any inspiration, it has nothing in common with Cameron's terminator movies. It's not dark, the relationships between characters are shallow, there is no feeling that it's actually real story happening somewhere, they added failed comic lines, including for the terminator, which is idiotic and again ruins everything. The idea of female terminator is idiotic (yeah well, that's not PC, but terminators need to look like a viable threat to make cinematic effect) , in t2 John was portrayed by charismatic child actor, you could believe he would be a leader some day. He was extremely mature for his age, sophisticated, good looking, resourceful, decisive. Yes, a child still, but not an ordinary one. And he looks genuine. In t3 adult John is neurotic no one with charisma of cucumber and still terminators are coming from the future to kill him because he will be a great leader in the future. Yes, right. In t2 and especially in t1 Arnold portrayed the terminator so well that you could actually believe he's a robot (in both films). Not in t3. I can continue with that for tens of pages. The idea is that t1 and t2 are not from the same family as t3.
Genieunly enjoyed this movie when i was young. Sure the movie wasnt noteworthy as T2 but as a 16 yr old movie every acts and actions were quite supreme and awe-inspiring.
Those last few seconds of this scene/clip... ...encapsulate the sheer dread, terror, and horror of the impending technological future bearing down on humanity... ...dressed in tight, red leather.
When TX tests out her new flamethrower you can see a list of weapons she can choose, there's like 10 or more and all of them are in her body. This says clearly how advanced she is against Arnie the T-800
And she only chooses to use the flamethrower afterwards from that arsenal, One could assume the other systems were damaged for the other weapons, but if it already knew that then why go through the list

To me, the original 4 movies are the best. It stook on how scary, brutal, and intense the terminators are. Terminator 3 was different, and I loved it. Even when I was a kid It had me creeped out, yet entertained by the action and the ending set a good 4th installment.

I actually really liked this film, although it couldn't quite make it up to the lofty heights that T2 was held in, it did do a great job of its own. And personally I believe if it had had the same Brad Fiedel sound track it would have struck a chord with more people as that sound track made T2. People please just kick back and enjoy a great piece of sci fi and watch the whole film it is great.
METAL1ON I liked it too even watching it after it came out on DVD and VHS. I just hated how the ending happened with the world ending, but I was a child and I didn't expect it to end that way. Usually kids just want the good guys to win and save the world, but that was just heartbreaking to watch Judgement Day happen all over the world.
Terminator 3, sadly this was the last decent Terminator film that was made after Terminator 2 because after Terminator 3 the sequels got worse and worse. Hats off to Terminator 3 director, Jonathan Mostow for making a fairly decent follow up to Terminator 2 and it wasn't perfect by any means but it was decent enough that Terminator 3 has gained my respect. Not a bad film at all
Also remember too that 2nd or 3 film movie franchises don’t tend to do well but Terminator 3 is actually good in my opinion despite how good the first 2 were. Similar to Jaws, the 2nd film was good too and it managed to stay that way but the 3rd one according to critics wasn’t as good. Similar to films like Taken and Aliens. Aliens 2 was arguably the best one in people’s opinions and the 3rd one never had the amount of success as the first films. Terminator 3 may not have done as good as the first 2 but it still did well selling wise and commercial wise.

0:25 years ago I remember reading how difficult it was to create this scene for the SFX team. I believe it took them 6 months to perfect it. This would take mere hours with todays tech. Shows how far we've come in terms of CGI.

I love this movie,Sure its not like the original or Judgment Day but nowadays in Modern Hollywood its impossible to beat it. But on the bright side it's always worth watching the movie,If story delivers then it'll be good. Problem is that some fans will always gatekeeps T1 and T2 as the best. Aside from the first which I assume was the Phased Plasma Rifle in 40 watt range similar to what the T-800 asked the gun store clerk for in the first movie.

As a fan of the Terminator trilogy, I will always be a fan of the cyborgs Schwarzenegger has taken the form of. Secretly, I am a wrecked machine who is repaired by both hand-braces and ankle braces, with two brain tubes on each side of the head, just like the T-800 Terminator cyborg and the T-600 one.

And T800 used to be more terrifying back then...
T850 and Arnold's model is somewhat modified version i believe. Plus it was to make a point that the older terminators are still capable of outperforming newer ones.

I love this movie,Sure its not like the original or Judgment Day but nowadays in Modern Hollywood its impossible to beat it. But on the bright side it's always worth watching the movie,If story delivers then it'll be good. Problem is that some fans will always gatekeeps T1 and T2 as the best. But i think T3 and Salvation entices me

Seriously, they should've just sticked to this timeline, and make a final sequel to Salvation, one that showcased the Future War teased in T1/T2, ending with the start of T1 in 1984
