I'd suggest that next time you reopen the bag to release some of the excess air then reseal the bag to coat the racks properly rather than fiddling about with a the bags full of air.
I've just applied this to my oven, it's quite messy and I recommend applying to the 'roof' of your oven lastly as the gloop tends to drip down onto your arm. I await the results now...fingers crossed I'll have a sparkly clean oven like in the demo... we'll see :o)
I thought the same too, very frustrating. Everyone in YT videos uses it on glass but the box says don't, so confusing as my glass could do with a clean and won't come off with scrubbing normally.
Elbow grease kitchen cleaner spray on to glass small sponge Fanny's your granny job done. I do my oven racks and grill pan over night turning the bag a couple of times brilliant job.
This stuff gets the job done. Use marigolds wear long sleeves I wash all my cooker bits off in a large container like a plastic box And clean outside. I hate the splashing
Just been on the oven pride website and it says not to use it on the glass door in your oven ? But everyone who has put a how to video on youtube has put it on the glass door? Dont understand if you can or cant....
@@Medialook you can put it on the glass as I have done it and was fine afterwards , cleans up well let it soak on the glass and wipe of with warm water and use a scourer to scrape the ruff stuff that hasent came off
@@Medialook I'm not sure maybe they dont test it on glass so they cant say yes you can do it incase something happens , if lots of people do it then it's more than likely okay , been okay for me.
Fux that you just made me want to bin the stuff. Sounds like more hassle than just scrubbing away for an hour at least then I won't need to worry about disovilng stuff , chemical burns or worse letting this stuff somehow get into food being cooked the night after. It says oven pride therfore should be fine for any oven I don't know what my oven is made of steel alloy iron I don't know and can't check. I wish I was still the care free guy I was cos then ide just splash the stuff everywhere without a seconds thought but I have kids now so look this stuff up. Altho do feel silly asking how to clean an oven lol. I'll get some baking soda.
Jesus. There are signs everywhere saying, DANGER! CORROSIVE! CAN CAUSE SEROUS BURNS! Then the childproof cap just will not come off without a fucking hacksaw. I was scared as shit.
What's totally baffling is people watch TH-cam in order NOT to real boring instructions and information 😴, this video begins with read this, that and the next thing lol. Didn't get past first minute.
Used for the first time recently. Followed instructions and left overnight. Something that actually does what it says it will!
I have used oven pride and I have to say it works. It's saved me hours of scrubbing!
I loved the Bagpuss-style picture story, informative and engaging!
Watching this video the day after I used Oven Pride.
This stuff is fantastic
well...i found this useful.
the instructions on the box were a bit scary...
I bought a box of this stuff ages ago and I'm still absolutely terrified of using it.
Bought a house with a cooker.
I used a paint brush to apply it.
Omg it's magic I love it!
Good clear instructions. thank you.
Tried to open bag and seal came off on one side. Brilliant.
Very help full
Thanks
Once the oven is clean, do I need to wait a certain amount of time before I then cook in it??
Thx

sweetisobella how did it turn out? Nine years later 😂
@@4ndy123 Looks like she didn't make it through the cleaning process.
RIP @sweetisobella
Must be still waiting to see what the oven look's like 😄
Still waiting on an update
Why does it say on the box not to use on the glass door, but the video shows them using it on the glass?
Wondered the same thing!!
what good is an oven cleaner you cant apply to glass???
I thought the same too, very frustrating. Everyone in YT videos uses it on glass but the box says don't, so confusing as my glass could do with a clean and won't come off with scrubbing normally.

On glass I used a paste made of baking soda and water and quite a bit of scrubbing with a good result. There is plenty of advice on it on the web.
After racks are clean can you put them in the dishwasher to clean excess dirt off
I put my oven racks in the dishwasher about once a month 🌟🌟
I thought you shouldn't use it on the glass??
Why on earth are you cleaning the glass door with oven pride when it clearly states on the box not to?
Done it wrong then watched this video. What a mistake. Thanks for this though!
Steven Elliott how the fuck do you get this wrong?

Is this ok for the oven glass and the rubber seal surrounding the glass?
What a fab idea! A big plastic tub and outside. I'm Scotland 🏴 I just need a day without rain, though. 👀😩💫
Leave the door open and then the stuff drips out onto the floor?
Why cut the corner off the bag or is that a marketing ploy. I rinse the bag thoroughly and reuse it .
No! only one use
@@marcinsperka176 I have used the same bag 4 times now and never encountered any problems. Trying to cut down on plastic waste.
I drink this stuff wiv a touch of ginger ale my teeth have melted and my tongue is mostly mush
At least it's vegan and gluten free!!
What is this stuff ACID...j
It's actually an alkaline

baking soda doesnt work compared to this stuff

But is it vegan?
I'm a man, and I'm not sure I could do all that. Looks very complicated :(
Whats wrong with men? We are fully capable

so watching with no sound proved useless
be really careful Read instruction and safety properly can be hazardous in wrong hands
