great contint i awaped M&M to carb on a 1998 EVO it was running good then the intake started a little draft so when taking apart i just replaced with carb i removed all not needed wiring i had milk crate full of wiring& parts i removed tank guts but the float i had to drill out the pea cock hole so filter would fit and went inside the tank and slotted the bunyoung so the reserve could empty all of gas HAPPY TRAILS

Iwent with Thunder Heart ignition (no vacuum advance) on my reworked 2010 Dyna that is now 113" cirtesy of a reworked CVO top end and other stuff.
It's simple and has no drawbacks at all, I was around before the use of CV carbs and vacuum advance never mind EFI, and bikes got slower and less powerful - of course they don't always meet the emmisions laws but here in the UK they don't test older bikes yet and I be dead before they do !

Good video. I just started this conversion on my 2000 Roadking n have couple questions. 1. Nothing to drill out on gas tank ? 2. After finishing with the tank mods, what does n does not get plugged back in ? 3. It looked like you took off the filter to the petcock ? Thanks for sharing

Another great idea from Harley putting a fuel pump in a tank that’s almost impossible to get it in.
