This bike is being built to sell so keeping it traditional makes that easier. I don't think I ever said it was going to be exceptional. It will be a well built solid bike with our custom touches while still having a traditional look and feel. Hope that helps you. I sure can't wait to see what you're building

What transponder

@GattisGarage Excuse me, my friend. I believe that's humor? 🤣 I live in Tahiti (we speak French). No Harley dealership in my country. I have a 2008 Softail Héritage FLSTC and I have problems all the time with my injection. I'd like to upgrade it to a carburetor. I don't have the spare transponder and I can't get another since there's no dealership here. I live on an island several thousand kilometers from any continent. That's why I'm asking if the transponder is needed once the conversion from injection to carburetion has been made. I'd appreciate it if I could do without the transponder. Thanks in advance for your reply 🏴‍☠️😎

It's my favorite tool in the shop. I could sit at a lathe all day. Sometimes I wish that's all I had to do. It's like sculpture

@GattisGarage i learned on a giant 10' lathe made in the 40's. Running a lathe is very therapeutic.

This is the paint for it. We never were able to get people excited enough about it to share the posts. And get out channel built up so it's just sitting in storage until I figure out another way to do it. We thought it would be easy to get people to subscribe and share for a free motorcycle but I guess people are just that lazy

@GattisGarage lol I just realized I had ordered a couple parts from you on ebay as I was going through leaving feedback hahahahaha. Before I even consider destroying my credit getting a lathe. I need to get my garage set up bette and run all the new electrical.

When you are ready. Definitely check Facebook marketplace. I see Greta deals on there all the time. Plus when you buy used you normally get a bunch of tooling which is really the expensive part. The machine isn't bad but all the tooling can put you in the poor house

@GattisGarage nothing like thst around here. I look often while bored st work the most you eill find around here arw some lathes the size of a pick up truck from thr 50s for 3 to 5 grand. All belt driven lol

Any grip that is held on with a set screw will work for this throttle

It's Just a 30 Liter ultrasonic. 50 degree Celsius water with dawn and purple power. I remove a couple times and scrub with a bristle brush for the really tough stuff
