To assassinate Vader from my knowledge of star wars (mostly from legends) they need to perform a ritual to cut the force from a specific location (but requires multiple jedi/sith) and E.M.P. field but for normal people to kill Vader they need suicide attacks (although they failed multiple times) noting less cuz fear will expose them
Short question! The Empire was founded when vader was born. It wasn't a long time between his "birth" and the birth of the empire. So why. Why are there Imperial Officers who don't know the man, who was there before even the galactic empire?

So it makes no sense that a military unit here in Star Wars will question or object to someone who's clearly working directly with the Emperor, that they'd object to or question any orders he gave, regardless if they never met them before.. especially in the Star Wars universe, because unlike a country where a general or staff Sargent or whatever could have simply transfered from a different military base in a different state or whatever, in the Star Wars universe, they could have literally came from anywhere across the galaxy, so obviously these imperials would have just assume Vader must have came from a different place in the galaxy, so they'd not question his authority/rank.

Hell fragging happens in professional militaries in warzones when the system breaks down a bit. In more corrupt politico-military cultures, and especially at the higher levels of society, everyone knows everyone and knows the politics and history of everyone else, so some new random dude is a problem. Now, General Skywalker could have continued to exist as a pardoned Jedi, but that did not fit the narrative the Emperor wanted. The thing that I think is odd is that nobody cottoned to the idea that the fucker who could choke you a distance might have been a turncoat Jedi, and hence not-fuckable-with. Then again they had just killed a lot of them so I guess the idea was: f*&k that guy, we killed the rest of them, try enough times and we'll get the sob.
