I traveled from Portsmouth for my 40th to play this course. Amazing course ! First day a howling gale and a few short showers, second day hot sunshine not a breath of wind. All four of us loved it, highly recommended !

Played the 27 2 weeks ago in the most glorious conditions. Thought the championship course was fantastic in its own right but the extra 9 on the peninsula at the end in warm setting sun was unforgettable

I’m online right now and they have tee times available starting at 50 pounds. A course like that in the USA would start at $500 and go up from there.

I have played the old course of Nefyn, many years ago. The course is brilliant. Hope you visited the pub at the bottom of the steps on the back nine. Excellent video

The annual subs at this club are about £570!! Unbelievable. Here in waterlogged Essex average is around 1450 for nothing special

It’s great watching these hidden gem courses, until it’s the hidden gem you’ve known about for years and you worry the world will cotton on to it and the green fee will skyrocket as a result 😬 I’d stay away folks, it’s rubbish honest…

I'm sure there's a good reason, but why don't you fellas use any GPS apps on your phone when you can't laser or to scout hazards?
Rick getting flogged by Guy, him actually being a 10 handicapper makes more sense with every video.
I know some of these videos are out of chronological order, but watching some of the videos where your mental (head) space isn't the greatest versus the ones where it is just point how psychologically demanding this game can be. Keep up the good content!

Guys please look at the tracer 😢and if it’s 20m yards wide it’s not MONEY or a good drive but if you make par or hit the fairway its a good shot ……….. I love the channel but come on please we all play golf
Enjoyed this. Beautiful course The greens on the peninsula didn't do you any favours but good to hear no complaints from you both. I now watch quite a few TH-camrs and a constructive comment coming up. A lot of other content creators engage or involve the videographers on the way round. It's a small thing but does ensure the team effort for great content is shown.

Rick, if you pause the video right at the moment of your takeaway, you can often see your club pointing miles outside the target line swing path. On one hole, the camera is angled in front of you instead of right behind you and your club is pointing right down his lens. Look at the side-by-side slow motions when the stats come up after 9 holes. Guy's clubhead is bang on line the swing path. If your club is pointing miles outside the swing path, that means you have to correct it to get it on line. Sometimes you manage that, but when you don't, it means it's always pointing the wrong way, hence your pull-hooks and sometimes push-slices. Cheers, Dan

Beautiful course. Rick is getting hard to watch for me as he always hooks everything and can't seen to figure it out. Hit the damn ball straight. Let the wind move the ball.
The thing I love about this video, other than the golf and golf course, is that you two walked the course! I understand that mounting cameras on the carts is helpful for content. However, the thoughts and commentary from you both walking the course is totally different than when one’s in a golf cart. I personally love that different commentary that came from walking the course! Good job to the entire team!
Can we get to see GUY and Ricks real handicaps ? You have played enough golf to have an England Golf handicap and would love to know what they are?

Watching Peter Finch hit his ping driver even if he miss hits it still find fairway and listening to Lee Westwood say how forgiving and good it is i wish Rick would put it in his bag :)

Rick needs more forgiving irons as well. He isn’t practicing as much as he needs, who has the time, so should use something forgiving across the board
@@Etan1122 yeah i saw someone else say this i have seen other golfer switch and instantly see the benefits i saw on Grant H channel he swapped back to his old irons after having a dip in form over the last few youtube videos he's done.
His pride gets the best of him. He just needs to own his skill level and get more forgiving clubs

Played the course 2 weeks ago on a sunny, still day - absolutely stunning and greens were tip top by then
That week we had in Wales was wonderful.... Harlech, Pennard, Aberdovey, Pyle & Kenfig, Nefyn, Porthcawl ..... all wonderful..... but tell me where else you stop golfing and go down a path to a pub for a quick halfpint. THIS is the place! We were lucky - a calm & sunny day! NEVER FORGET IT THOUGH IT WAS 30+ YEARS AGO,

Great video Rick.If you like a course with great views there is a great little course my wife and I used to play a lot
we were there so often we were members.That is Cape Cornwall its not miles long but it has its challenges.
So if you fancy a road trip get down to the Cape and try it out if the golf is bad the views make up for it

Is this in Wales? I’m guessing by the name, I live 2 hours north of wales and they have the lushest, greenest grass anywhere in the UK and the best scenery in the UK when the sun is out imo but it’s a long shot from pebble beach in California, that’s another level of stunning how green the grass is and how blue the sea is

At least he’s mellowed and isn’t calling every single shot before failing to then do what he calls, he’s forced himself upon us as a TH-cam Golfer (Somewhat against most folks will) but Rick doesn’t seem to attract new guests now so maybe it’s lack of options
Got to say, I watched Pete Finch Vs Westy video the same night, the step up in standard of golf from Rick to Pete is huge, no wonder Pete got invited to qualify for a PGA Event and Rick didn’t

34:30. Guy takes A penalty shot for a lost ball but plays it from the place it’s lost. Stroke but no Distance. This is a Wrong Place penalty 2PS in stroke play. As it was a Serious Breach of that rule- 120 yards further advanced than the previous location its a DQ. He should have gone back and taken 1PS with Stroke and Distance for a lost ball otherwise his score is nonsense. Yes I AM a lot of fun to play with. 😂
Guy - You need a LAB putter sir, I'm thinking the DF3, but regardless of which LAB model appeals to you, the positive results will come.

Why does the title refer to Pebble Beach?...seems everytime a utuber visits a seaside links they compare it to pebble...maybe to get the eyes of yanks?.. bit sad.....seeing that Peeble is overrated and most UK links will play better with older longer history...not everything in the USA is better...be proud of your golf courses😊

Is Guy really a needed component of these videos? Personally I watch to see a golf pro in Rick play. Don’t really need to hear some other “guy” talk about his game. I think Guy does a nice job on the set for interviews but having him play alongside Rick is too much Guy for me personally.
The scenery is amazing but I don't think I have EVER seen ANY course where the putts bounce as much. Is it just me or are those greens incredibly bumpy?

Loose the blades and the low spin driver and you may start to straighten your long game. Ricks ball striking isn’t as good or consistent as Guys which seems weird considering one is a PGA pro and the other a club amateur (albeit very good one!!).
I can’t play (have never tried to play) golf…… but I want to so bad!!! I’ve watched these videos for about 4 years and I love golf!! Can I start off with a basic set of clubs? I don’t want to be good I just want to chase a ball for a day 😂
We walked out along the peninsular several years ago, so it was good to see the course on here. Great to see Guy playing too.
Try playing when the general public and hikers are marching across the course ,it’s a nightmare .
Particularly on the back 9 . Try explain to the public who have right of way your trying to play golf and the responses are unbelievable. They never tell you what can happen when your paying you green fees
