IDEA: Nick joins PFG as a permanent caddie. They travel the world as a player - caddie pair, taking on tough courses round the globe. Occasionally Nick hits a few. Every time, we all love it. I’ll start the petition.
The ‘putt, don’t chip’ call by Nick at 14:12 was great. Shows he’s a fantastic caddy, and good on Pete for being trusting him and taking his word on it. Cool to see.
I feel like this is something golf TH-cam is missing. I feel that a Peter Finch Caddy is what we all need. Increase banter, better golf and good content on talking through shots/course management.
It's been said many times by everyone but you're absolutely hilarious! Self deprecating, the pauses for comedic effects, and hell of a player. I'm on Hole 5 now and enjoying yours and Nick's fistbumps. I just feel like you can play in any foursomes. Your fellow TH-cam golfers, the latest being Luke and Grant singing your praises, are lucky to have you as their company. Long may this continue!
I had Nick as my caddie when I played my round there this past January, best round of golf I've ever played and Nick truly was the difference. Always had positive vibes and just made it feel like you were playing around with one of your buddies. Great to see you getting him as your caddie!
I am surprised! Your fade/slice is almost gone and your attitude on missed shots is better! A top player has said is all shots don’t fly land exactly where you want, then they are all misses! So play for good misses and you will enjoy better! Finally after 5 years you are playing like a pro and your new driver is awesome. Irons are much better!
You’re by far the most enjoyable golf content creator to watch playing a round. This was the toughest test yet on your North American tour. Many thanks.
Pete, I think you will break 80. lol. Many years ago I had one of my great golf experiences there. Me, my brother, my best friend and a guy that worked from me drove from Chicago through the night to get to our tee time. When we got there, the course was closed due to heavy rain and wind. We begged them to let us play anyway. They said no. We begged some more. They said ok if we signed a disclaimer for anything that happened to us and we would receive no raincheck. Off we went. After 4 holes or so we were completely soaked. After 8 we were giddy. When we got to a par 3 (I think the 14th but may be wrong) we had to hit it over the water into a high wind. We decided to keep hitting balls until we got to the green. After about 20 balls we made it. lol. At the end of the round we went into the bar and started to drink. And drink and drink. Then we went to dinner. Completely trashed but happy. At one point, my friend got up on the table and started to tell the patrons of our round. We were promptly thrown out. A great memory. Good round. Great caddie.
Pete, I'm SO glad to finally see a TH-cam golfer play sensibly instead of trying these crazy hero shots. I see way too many golfers do this in my playing on the course and they wonder why their scores are so high. Good on ya!
I remember 7 or so years ago I asked for Peter and Rick to play this golf course. I am so pleased to see you were able to make it out. I am glad to call this place my home and this course is truly a magical place to play. glad you enjoyed it. I am sad I was not working their any longer to meet you. Would have been a dream come true.
I've been watching Pete since he was wearing funny hats on the Boxing Day specials with Mark, Coach, and Rick, and this is the best. This is why I love watching you play Pete!
Love your content Peter, including this course gold/silver/bronze challenge. I noticed you only grab gold if you equal or beat par. I'd recommend an adjustment to scoring gold, based on the course's rating (which takes into account difficulty.) Course rating for Harbour Town is 75.6 from the tips, and 73.3 from their championship tees. Those ratings reflect what a scratch golfer should score on that course from those tee boxes. If we round down the course rating here to even numbers, that would be 75 and 73. You set gold reward to scoring par (71) or better; so you're forcing yourself to shoot 2 or 4 shots lower than a scratch golfer would here. Do you really wanna put that kind of pressure on yourself? To sleep better at night, please consider setting your goal in line with the course's difficulty. Keep up the exceptional content, Peter. You're officially the one YT golfer I'd most want to play a round with. 🙂
Great episode. Off the tips that was a good score and many of the tour pros will score higher/ Hilton Head is one of my favourite places and Harbour town is a great course to play. and the 17 th and 18th holes are as good as it gets. Great series of courses you have put together. 👏
Glad you’re in the States playing a few courses! Love your videos and constant banter . . . even when there are no opponents. Please catch up with Grant while you’re here. My dream foursome would be you, Grant , Iona and Rick. It’ll never happen, but an old man on NC can dream! Thanks for sharing your gift and time with us!!!
the 9 on 5 was pure class. i almost didnt type this when you said that was almost a golf shot. you were proud of that one, lol just saw you miss the putt. id like a pint with pete. new series????
Hole 15, the first large sandtrap on your left - over the 280yd-ish mark. My family and I stayed at the house that abuts that bunker on vacation in 2019. The course is unbelievable, truly stunning. There were people walking 18 in 98* temps that felt like 106* with humidity! Got out on the putting surface at night a couple times with my grandfather, hoping him and I can play it together someday (soon!).
Love the energy and positive vibes from Pete and Nick made for a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining video, coupled with the great camera work and editing it's a disservice calling this "Content" it's a Quality Production. Thank you all involved 🤠👍⛳🏌️
Nick was having a blast. Atleast y’all seem to keep it light as frustrating as it can be. Welcome to SC golf. It’s some of the best and most frustrating around.
Dang you hit the ball well. Played that course in 2010 and was overwhelmed, however the drinks made all right. And you are so correct on your walk down (12) I think, “this is why we are here!!”
Captivating round of golf Peter. Nick was a great caddie and you two were in sync. Tough track with tough conditions, well played! 👊 Ooh sorry, was that fist bump too hard. 😆
Well played Pete, it’s great to see you playing so well, I’m so hoping that you do really well in the competitions you have coming up this year, establishing quest for the open. Good luck.
Honestly Pete, your content gets better and better, am loving the videos, Swing Quest and Rough Cuts!! You and your teams really upping your game!! All deserve credit
Pete, what a great video! Seen this course on the tour all these years but got a better appreciation of it through your playing it. Really enjoyed your chatter with Nick. Great stuff!
Peter, you are gifted with your attitude and wit which makes your on-course shot-by-shot commentary just delightful! Great content, thanks for sharing!
Nick and Pete have some magic together. Different accents, but same warm, jovial confidence and voice inflections. Nick could carry Finchy to the next level on any course.
What a magnificent course Pete, and some great golf. A really good score on a tight track. Full on Matt Fyer impression from you when the boggy train struck!😂
Pete: you’ve got to do a swing quest vid on what you’re doing 100% great on every shot…… you’re pre-shot planning and visualisation is spot on. Key to good golf and good swings
Absolute gem of a course. I got to play here the Monday after we went to the tournament in 2018 and it was so much fun. Difficult course but very enjoyable
Great video, Pete. Love your stuff. Your back and forth with, the knowledgeable, Nick extremely enjoyable to witness. Some phenomal shots in there as well and not a bad score at all on such a tough course
Pete your game is on fire right now, the new clubs have made a world of difference, your drives n putts are so much more accurate 🙌🏽🙌🏽 bring on the golf bidder challenge 💪🏼
I played this course about 5 years ago, fantastic place but it has teeth, luckily the day I was there, calm wind, so I got to enjoy the natural beauty of the place.
I’m a TH-cam golf NUT, and I will tell you Pete…. I get the most excited when I see yours and Grants videos, out of any content out there. Both of you are made for this. Very genuine personalities, and very high quality golf. You also both describe each shot with pure honesty(good, or bad). As a near scratch golfer myself, I appreciate the honesty, without trying to make excuses, or blowing smoke up peoples asses. Garret, Brad, and Luke are also very relatable in the same way. I also like BDS, Bryon Bros, and BustaJack. There are a few others that I enjoy, too. But, GG, and Micah have almost became unwatchable, to be honest.
Imagine what the banter would be like if Pete actually included someone else in the chat? Keep listening to those voices in your head Pete - it's keeping us entertained.....and slightly scared.
This was one of your best ‘proper golf’ pieces, Pete. Nothing crazy. Striking it pretty well. Just a couple of made putts between bronze and silver. Bloody good effort off the tips, I’d say.👍🏻
I got the Woode 8 to replace my 8 slot ancient Hoofer Lite (current ones are only 4 slots) and I've been super happy with it! It's heavy compared to my old bag, my only complaint
This is just such a great content! Gotta go someday to play there! What a video Pete, helluva of golf course and grind !!! Didn’t sleep at all but it was worth it. Keep up the good work
IDEA: Nick joins PFG as a permanent caddie. They travel the world as a player - caddie pair, taking on tough courses round the globe. Occasionally Nick hits a few. Every time, we all love it.
I’ll start the petition.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. It may have to be that part of the USA for now at least though as he has a full time career
The ‘putt, don’t chip’ call by Nick at 14:12 was great. Shows he’s a fantastic caddy, and good on Pete for being trusting him and taking his word on it. Cool to see.
The clear MVP of the video is Nick. He is a rock star. MORE NICK!!
I feel like this is something golf TH-cam is missing. I feel that a Peter Finch Caddy is what we all need. Increase banter, better golf and good content on talking through shots/course management.
You can tell that the caddy knows that he has a gem of a client and he's gonna chuckle all day.
Always watched Rick Shiels but never watched a lot of your content…man I have been missing out. You are my new #1! Keep it up!
With rumors of a happy Gilmore 2 in the making it would be hilarious to see Pete shooter and happy play a few holes together 😂
What an incredible course.
I still can’t believe this channel hasn’t reached 1M subscribers yet. Unbelievable!
Crazy isn’t it 😂
I had Nick as my caddie when I played my round there this past January, best round of golf I've ever played and Nick truly was the difference. Always had positive vibes and just made it feel like you were playing around with one of your buddies. Great to see you getting him as your caddie!
Nick is a great kid, He's also my nephew.
Predictions: Pete will hit some big drives, a lot of quality shots, and I will blow a significant amount of air out of my nose due to Pete's comments.
Thank you….i think ❤
Well played, sir (ma'am?).
Damn dude. Got my nose with that one.
Astronomical amounts of air out my nose hole

This is gold 😂😂😂

This is an elite thumbnail btw
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I love you guys
Great energy from caddie Nick. Perhaps you need to fly him across the pond for the road to the Open?
What a beautiful course that is. That last hole, with the warm glow of the lights near the lighthouse just looks SOOOO inviting.
I remember 7 or so years ago I asked for Peter and Rick to play this golf course. I am so pleased to see you were able to make it out. Well done Pete. Just a couple of tee shots hurt you. Hung in there well though. What a golf course!!!

Love watching you Pete. Your sarcastic vocabulary is the best!! The team’s camera work and editing is top notch! Keep up the quality work.
Bloody love how Pete always wears a course branded hat. Who needs Rick Sheils’ golf club storage room, I want to see Pete’s collection of caps!
Great episode. Off the tips that was a good score and many of the tour pros will score higher/ Hilton Head is one of my favourite places and Harbour town is a great course to play. and the 17 th and 18th holes are as good as it gets. Great series of courses you have put together. 👏

Nick with a “That Hurts” on hole 1. No emotion. Gotta love it
I’m betting Peter has waaaay more respect for Wesley Bryan winning the PGA tourney on this course after playing it himself!
the 9 on 5 was pure class. i almost didnt type this when you said that was almost a golf shot. you were proud of that one, lol just saw you miss the putt. id like a pint with pete. new series????
I’ve been watching you for years, and I’m gaining appreciation for your cerebral commentary….What a great win in the Heritage for Wesley Bryan…..👍🇨🇦
I have had that exact same putter in my hands at the PGA store many times on the putting green. Such a nice putter from Odyssey.
What an awesome video. Honestly, @peterfinch should get Nick to caddy for him in all of these legit PGA course videos! What an awesome freakin caddy!
What an enjoyable video that was. Thanks Pete and Nick, awesome golf course..and some excellent golf. Hope you enjoyed the beer 🍻
Hole 15, the first large sandtrap on your left - over the 280yd-ish mark. My family and I stayed at the house that abuts that bunker on vacation in 2019. The course is unbelievable, truly stunning. My favourite course of all that I have played. Such a lovely place Harbour Town , glad you enjoyed it Peter.
Great video Peter! The continuous light heartedness and pure joy is what makes these videos so entertaining to watch!
Love the energy and positive vibes from Pete and Nick made for a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining video, coupled with the great camera work and editing it's a disservice calling this "Content" it's a Quality Production. Thank you all involved 🤠👍⛳🏌️
Look at Pete!! Playing smart golf. I'd be more than pleased with that score.
That bunker shot on number 2 was fantastic! Not an easy shot at all.
Pete your amazing. Keep doing what you’re doing you’re amazing!!🎉🎉🎉
Honestly Pete’s channel is much more fun to watch than Rick Shiels these days.
Probably because Pete doesn't smoke a mini driver then insult it's existence
Has been that way for a t least a couple years now. Not only is Rick cringe but Guy! O my goodness! How annoying and unlikeable can a person be!?
@@chrisfohey he’s not unlikeable but more just a Debbie downer these days
What’s wrong with liking both?
ACE, Yeah I agree too
Captivating round of golf Peter. Nick was a great caddie and you two were in sync. Tough track with tough conditions, well played! 👊 Ooh sorry, was that fist bump too hard. 😆
5 mins in, this USA content has been the best stuff you have done. Great entertainment.
PF, the funniest and driest sense of humor on YT. And Nick got every joke.
Well played Pete, it’s great to see you playing so well, I’m so hoping that you do really well in the competitions you have coming up this year, establishing quest for the open. Good luck.
Nice round Peter 77 in those conditions and on that course , way to go.
Honestly Pete, your content gets better and better, am loving the videos, Swing Quest and Rough Cuts!! You and your teams really upping your game!! All deserve credit
This course easily sits in my top 10. As a second year golfer I had never heard of this place before. Absolute beauty!
Pete, what a great video! Seen this course on the tour all these years but got a better appreciation of it through your playing it. Really enjoyed your chatter with Nick. Great stuff!
Well done Pete, great effort. Good to see you recently going against real quality TH-cam golfers. Good luck with the upcoming Comps. 👍👍
Fantastic video. Love that Pete is striking the ball like it owes him money.
As an SC native I can say that I have greatly enjoyed you playing some of the best course around.
Peter, you are gifted with your attitude and wit which makes your on-course shot-by-shot commentary just delightful! Great content, thanks for sharing!
Nick had to have had a blast caddying for you on this round!! Another great video for sure!! And this is only 18:44 into watching it!
Nick and Pete have some magic together. Different accents, but same warm, jovial confidence and voice inflections. Nick could carry Finchy to the next level on any course.
The Power of the Darkside was unleashed on that 15th tee. Absolutely schlobberknockered that drive down the middle with emphasis.
What a magnificent course Pete, and some great golf. A really good score on a tight track. Full on Matt Fyer impression from you when the boggy train struck!😂
To play this course in real life and not a computer game is also my dream. Maybe if I’m lucky I will one day. Great video, you played well😎
One of the few content creators for which I wish there was a way to 'like' it more than once!
How fortunate to get the absolute best caddie Harbour Town has ever had.
What a caddie Nick is 👏👏👏👏
I had you about 4 over before the round began. Well played, I enjoy the content. Thank you Peter!
It's like Golf meets Top Gear 😂 on that bombshell, let's watch the video 💪⛳🏌️ looking forward to it
Pete, this was my favorite TH-cam golf video of the year so far. You and Nick were a great team, you played great, and the course looked phenomenal.
Pete: you’ve got to do a swing quest vid on what you’re doing 100% great on every shot…… you’re pre-shot planning and visualisation is spot on. Key to good golf and good swings
Pete your game recently....amazing! great post, love it!
Pete - you are such a good player, it's a joy to watch some of the shots you hit.
Thank you, it’s also painful at times ❤
Absolute gem of a course. I got to play here the Monday after we went to the tournament in 2018 and it was so much fun. Difficult course but very enjoyable
The production of these videos is beyond sublime. What a lovely guy Nick is as well!
Great swing, great personality great round
Great job Finchie, looks to me like your ready to qualify for the Open. 👍
Pete: Your lag putting is incredible. So fun to watch. Wish I had that expertise in my game...
Great video, Pete. Love your stuff. Your back and forth with, the knowledgeable, Nick extremely enjoyable to witness. Some phenomal shots in there as well and not a bad score at all on such a tough course
Loving the banter with the caddy. I wonder if he thought Pete was some crazy British guy with a weird sense of humour..!?!
This course is phenomenal and Pete is making it look pretty good’ dude can square the golf ball solid’ well done
One of your best videos to date mate. Great banter, great golf and great transition music.
Quality content, banter and a gorgeous course. Well done Pete and crew!
This is great Pete. Just hugely enjoyable, thanks
+1 on the par 3s is no joke. Well done.
The decision to chip out on the 8th is just showing how your game is completely changing for the better. Well done Pete.
32:13 love your excitement level. Great game you have Pete
A good caddie is a much better addition to the content than another YT creator.
That course looked hard. I love how you keep the mood up and honestly considering the wind and how though that course is you played great.
As soon as you get cocky....bam! Course designers around the world are dancin'! 🎉
When a local caddie says putt it, you putt it.
finaly I see Pete playing smart, love it
Pete’s the only TH-cam golfer I can watch full rounds and stay engaged ✌🏼
Great showing around a very tight course. Looks amazing and the 18th green with the lights on looked fantastic.
Harbour Town is definitely number 1 on my bucket list, just an absolute beauty of a course
Hire Nick for open qualifying.. Cool calm and laughs at your jokes. Not many people I can watch play a solo round. As entertaining as always Pete
I’m a TH-cam golf NUT, and I will tell you Pete…. I get the most excited when I see yours and Grants videos, out of any content out there. Both of you are made for this. Very genuine personalities, and very high quality golf. You also both describe each shot with pure honesty(good, or bad). What absolutely brilliant planning to release this today 😊
Enjoyed the relevance of watching you play the course that PGA tour are at this weekend, good timing
Still the best youtube golf content creator in my book. What a legend.
It blows my mind how this channel is so underrated there is no reason it shouldn't be on +1mill subs and hitting 500k+ views per video
That was great golf!! For that golf course, it looked unbelievably difficult. You are a brave man for even taking it on Pete!
Can we take a moment for the Ogio Woode stand bag? Ogio has been the GOAT since forever ❤
I got the Woode 8 to replace my 8 slot ancient Hoofer Lite (current ones are only 4 slots) and I've been super happy with it! It's heavy compared to my old bag, my only complaint
Played this course last year and loved every minute. Great video as always Peter, here's to 1 mil!
This is just such a great content! Gotta go someday to play there! What a video Pete, helluva of golf course and grind !!! Didn’t sleep at all but it was worth it. Keep up the good work
