The last 6 months your game has got better, you channel has got better, your editing has got better. This might just be my favourite Golf channel on YT now.
I aren’t 100% sure but listening to his track, it sounds very similar to the music Pete uses in the vid when he’s doing the drone shots etc which is a very nice touch if it is.
I do like Pete, but gotta be honest. He is always trying to be funny and just failing hard. He's just not very funny at all. You could see the Look on Westwoods face when Pete just kept waffling nonsense. I think that turns people off. But he deserves WAY more than he has. He's a lovely bloke
I had an accident 2 years ago which left me disabled and unable to play golf. I absolutely love your content. I get the same enjoyment watching your vids as I ever did playing. It’s like I’m on the course with my mates. Pete seems like an absolute gent. By far the best golf content on TH-cam. Keep up the great content and podcast I look forward to each upload. Truly thank you guys means more than you’ll ever know.
@@peterfinchgolf Hey buddy. I’m doing okay thank you. Long road to recovery but I’m getting there slowly but surely. Honestly Pete & the crew thank you for the content. Keep on smashing it you deserve all the success. All the best for the future Rikki.
Pete, take this man on the course! Even if he's still unable to play, he could be a ride-along "cart caddie" for a day! I'm sure it's hard to make things happen with your schedule but if the man's in your remote area, I'm sure it'd mean the world to him!
Pete's got the perfect blend of humility and humor combined with solid golf. His course vlogs are my favorite on TH-cam. And the team putting the videos together deserve a tip of the cap as well. Need to see you at Bandon Dunes!
Pete is -if not one of the best youtube golfers, but i will say it again he has the best personality by far not even close, his humor, his dialogue, absolute legend!
This might be the best course vlog of the year. Great content Pete! Shout out to Mitchell as well, seems like a great guy and he sure knew what he was doing on the bag as well.
These videos are class. Really enjoy getting snippets of local lore too; the stuff about Donald Ross sipping cocktails while eagle-eying the green by his house and zipping out to change hole positions in case he witnessed too many birdies. Such tales bring a course to life. Golf seems to have an abundance of such local lore and Pete presents it in such a casual land langurous way. Ace.
I've been watching youtube golf videos for several years now and agree that the quality and content of Pete's videos has gone up a level or two over recent months. He has interesting guests and his golf has improved significantly which gives us high handicappers hope of getting better ourselves. He's also an entertaining character which makes the videos fun to watch. Keep up the good work Peter.
This channel has gotten much better this year. It wasn't bad, by any means, but it was kind of right there with the rest of em. Now it is by far my favorite of all the "golf youtubers" - I think it's the focus on your game this year and even seeing you play the smaller PGA events and practice rounds just feels more purposeful.
Wow that course is brutal, well done Pete for hanging in there and breaking 80. Had a listen to Mitchells song just now, pretty damn good, hope he gets a lot of listens, nice job letting him plug it on the channel. 🙂
I've been fortunate to play this course a handful of times and every time it has been a challenge. I can't begin to imagine playing off the championship tees. Amazing stuff!
Peter, when driving...aim a bit to the right, when approaching greens...aim a bit right, chipping..tad right...putting ditto, great video as always 😂😂❤🎉
Straight up smashing it with the content, the editing/ filming is easily the best out there too. To the team behind the cameras and computer screens… BIG props guys! 🤙🏼
I really enjoy in addition to telling us the shot you are going to play, you are explaining how you are going to do it. It's like education and entertainment at the same time.
Genuinely the content and video production has improved massively and right now everything is brilliant and I am looking forward to each video. Keep up the good work guys and here's hoping the quest for open ends well.
Agree with the comments. Best golf channel on TH-cam right now and Pete is playing some serious golf! I look for new videos weekly and thoroughly enjoy it all.
Can we please take a moment to appreciate Pete’s scrambling for par on 10?? Really shows the improvements he’s made to his mental game this year to not get frustrated and stay cool enough to execute that second shot and then that chip too
You and The Average Golfer are my golf travel guides to courses I likely won't ever get to play, but enjoy seeing. Your love of the game is coming through and the content is must see quality. You are a fine golfer and an engaging host on the channel. I'd love to be able to play a round with you and would not fear my mediocrity, it would be a blast and memorable with your company. God's speed and carry on, let's see you get into the open yet! We are here for the ride whatever happens Peter! Go back to the LAB putter, it works.
Played #2 last year, had Will as my caddie. Par on 3, missed birdies on 4-5-7-9. Then the back nine did me dirty with the runoffs. Shot 81, and had a blast. Parred 18 with a large crowd watching. Great memories at 13:30 I had the same putt Pete. My caddie told me to aim at the shadow of the flag. The putt lipped the top edge.
I last played Pinehurst No. 2 in 2014, a few months before the U.S. Open. I was a 7-handicapper at the time. I didn't even play from the U.S. Open tees; I played from the blue tees and shot 88. No. 2 is a beast.
I watch a lot of your videos. When your back hurts you tend to stand up on full shots. And pull it. Just an observation. Watching you helped me pay more attention to my own “standing up” tendencies
I’m a bit late to the party but this Peter’s got to be one of the most likeable blokes on TH-cam. Great golfer as well and it’s great to see that you don’t need to be perfect to be a good golfer. Leaning a lot just from his temperament
Great video, sorry I did not know you were here, I live here at Pinehurst and I am a member of Pinehurst Country Club, let me know the next time you are in the area. You should be here now, the course is in amazing condition for the open. I am a committee chair for the USGA US Open. Sam
Great video Peter! Thank you. I live 20 min from this course and I’m fortunate to be able to play 1-9 (#2 only sometimes). Beautiful golf surrounding this area.
Swinging it bautifully Pete. You were the, same at the internet pros tourney. Shows how tough this place,is and how good the tour pros are. Kymer at the us open springs to mind. Made it look ridiculously easy at Pinehurst 2!
Thanks for this content,I’ve always wondered how difficult Pinehurst 2 is & watching with crowds when tournaments are on you don’t get to see the whole course in its glory. Breaking 80 on those championship tees on those greens is something to remember
Pete is my favourite channel to watch. Me and the wife love sitting down of a night time to watch some “quality ball striking”. Since playing with Padraig your game has gone up another level.
My club is a D Ross course in NC and if I had a short game like Peter I'd be a low handicap golfer. The margin for error is so small on approaches and chip shots, but he recovers beautifully. Great vid.
I caddied at Pinehurst for a long time. On course two there are certain pin placements that require adding 4" towards the club house in the read. I can't remember all of them but you found one at 5 :)
Hi Pete can you let me know what date your playing Conwy in Qualifier. Would like to come & wish you well on your Quest on the day..Only live 10 mins up the road. 😃👍🏆
That was fun. How tough was that course. So many par 5s masquerading as par 4s. Nice work on the bag Mitch. Achievement ticked off the list. Nicely done 👍😁
I’ve massively enjoyed the last two videos (Westwood). I find Peter generally interesting to listen to, and really enjoy just Pete chatting away and the golf. Would love to see you play Poulter, just for the trash talk :)
Amazing Peter …to get us up close in person to see what kind of challenges the USOpen best in world are gonna face was truly fascinaring engaging and interesting…Finchy is my youtube golfer hero icon!!Oh, and he’s not a bad golfer either….lol
Great video as always Pete. I do love how at 06:00 when the score fades in the numbers go all the way to 8! Looks like your graphic guys don't have as much confidence in you as they should ;)
Was there 4 weeks ago and shot 88. Got a birdie on 9 and got a 2 on 2 coin. So happy. Pinehurst the hardest course you will play with one ball. Wont lose balls with the sand rough but will definatly get your butt kicked.
Frankly this course scares me but what a test of golf ...loving the channel really enjoying the podcast as well onwards and upwards Mr Finch and team .

Wow. Some of the yardages on those holes are savage. Has to be said, can't recall the last time your driving was not on point and to be be fair it was such slim margins you were out on that made the difference. Such a tough looking course and a great score. Top job.

Absolutely 💯
Agreed
It is my favorite already... 👍
Couldn’t have said it better.
I always enjoy the music choices 👍
Absolute class act giving your caddie a moment to promote his music Pete. You're a genuinely good guy and I hope your channel keeps booming.
It's a decent track too..! 👌🏼
What's the track called again
@@elterrible67 I'm Free by Mitchell Cross - not bad at all :)
I aren’t 100% sure but listening to his track, it sounds very similar to the music Pete uses in the vid when he’s doing the drone shots etc which is a very nice touch if it is.

I don’t understand how Pete is on 640k subscribers, should be 6.4 million at least. Love when evening comes round and I’ve got a finchy vid to watch
Could not agree more
TH-cam algorithm must be weird. Decent player. Decent instruction and fantastic film crew.
It’s cause of Rick shiels
I do like Pete, but gotta be honest. He is always trying to be funny and just failing hard. He's just not very funny at all. You could see the Look on Westwoods face when Pete just kept waffling nonsense. I think that turns people off. But he deserves WAY more than he has. He's a lovely bloke
I’ll watch Rick often for club reviews but it’s Pete and the team every time for swing tips and course vlogs - big fan
Pete’s golf is trending, his channel is trending. It is all good 🤗

Pete's got the perfect blend of humility and humor combined with solid golf. His course vlogs are my favorite on TH-cam. And the team putting the videos together deserve a tip of the cap as well. Need to see you at Bandon Dunes!
And his little helpers give him just the right amount of disrespect.
I'd love to see that!
Give Mitchell's Music some love, too. Great chemistry with the caddie + high quality golf.
Yeah Mitchell seemed super chill and social, love some good quality golf
I love when Peter comes to play here in America. Always great entertainment and golf.
I agree! I always enjoy Pete though, honestly
I’d love to see a Rick Shiels breaking 130 @ No2 vid. Well done Pete 👏
Mitch is an amazingly calm caddie to have there and guide you around, also his song is really good!

Very clearly a PP (pre-Padraig) round. Very much enjoying Peter's headspace in the new videos!
Indeed it was
What the distinction between a pre padraig and a post padraig round
@@adj1776 You should watch the video Peter did with Padraig. Lot's of changes to his mental game after that round!

This one was unreal!! Great playing on a brutal course. It seems hard enough to get on the greens, but that grain on them is vicious. Great content.
Great video Pete, as others have said i think your the best YT channel and i look forward to your videos and they just keep getting better. 👏👏
The up and down on the 6th deserves a like button all of its own.

What a grind. Some excellent pitches from just off the green and some good putting. Well done.
