Some tips to everyone who's having any additional problems: - disable Multi/Two-Factor Authentication in Zoho before trying to connect the admin or users in Google's data migration panel. - If you got lots of emails, consider bulk deleting some that you don't need because it does take a while (on my end, it was ~20 emails per minute.) - Emails will appear in your inbox once the entire migration finishes

Dear Leo, On the Configure Data Migration service part, you have to give the email address and password of the email user that is present on the Zoho mail service end so that a connection between the Zoho mail server and Google Workspace mail server can be established. The migration process is taking a long time as some of the users have huge mailboxes. Can we update the MX records to google workspace and start getting emails on google workspace while the migration from Zoho to Google Workspace is still on going for some users being migrated?

You can use the same email address that you have used for Zoho on Google Workspace. And regarding getting the emails, it's totally dependent on the MX records. For example, if you use the MX records of Google workspace, you will get the emails in your Gmail inbox and if you use the Zoho MX record, you will get the emails in the Zoho inbox. However, you are not recommended to use both MX records as this will create issues in email deliverability.

It is possible. But you need to remember once the mails are migrated to the new same user at Google Workspace, it's your priority on which mail system you want to send and receive the emails and can accordingly use the MX record of those to do so.

You can use the same email address that you have used for Zoho on Google Workspace. And regarding getting the emails, it's totally dependent on the MX records.
For example, if you use the MX records of Google workspace, you will get the emails in your Gmail inbox and if you use the Zoho MX record, you will get the emails in the Zoho inbox.
However, you are not recommended to use both MX records as this will create issues in email deliverability.
