No, it does not! It adds another layer, actually. It's amazing - you keep your original iDrive, and you can switch between this MMI and the iDrive. It's perfect.

Well, I haven't had that issue before. Tire Rack has replaced 2 right side Continental tires for us before with no questions asked. Maybe Continetsl themselves have bad customer service, but I go through Tire Rack, so I don't have to deal with the manufacturer. I'm sorry to hear that you've had an unfortunate experience with them. I haven't actually heard of such a situation before.

It comments completely automatically. On my Samsung S22 Ultra, all I do is have my bluetooth on (usually always) or, if it's off, just before i get in the car. The MMI will connect automatically and open up Android Auto for me without having to do a thing. Most of the time, that is. Sometimes, it struggles a little, but 98% of the time, it's completely automatically. Also, it starts whenever you unlock the car. So you don't even have to turn it on. Just unlock the car and it connects, sometimes even before you sit down in your seat. You won't have to spend any time at all connecting it. Seriously impressive stuff.

You know what's crazy is I've been pondering this exact same thing... I've really been considering trying it our, maybe with an x-pipe, even. But, one of my previous setups consisted of a myatless downpipe, a resonator delete, and the stock mufflers, and there was no drone at all. So, in theory, this could work.

@@MotoRevs I think it could be a good idea if someone really just wants their car to sound good and decently loud for most of the time without too much drone. And anytime you really just want to hear the car and not really caring about drone, you just open the valves and basically have a straight pipe. Getting a 2011 535i soon and definitely plan on buying some cutouts and a downpipe. Thanks for the great vids!

I actually tried that. I had a seriously strong magnet, and I tried pulling it out using it, but the filter was in with such force it couldn't be pulled out. It was definitely a force to be reckoned with...

In this video, I was actually on the stock rearsets! They're very capable and feel great, even with just the balls of my feet hanging on. I did eventually upgrade them, though. (Video on channel!)

No, I did not! I didn't have the active shutter grills, though. Mine were the simple static plastic ones. I've heard people say that removing the active shutters can throw a CEL, but since I don't have any experience with that, I can't say that may or may not happen.

I've seen people say KTM recommend many different oils... It could be due to market area, or something similar, but it seems to differ between person to person whom I speak with over this matter. It's strange, but I'm sure KTM knows what they're doing. I don't think you have to do exactly what I did and use what I did.

​@@MotoRevs After I poured in the semi-synthetic oil as recommended in the manufacturer's manual, which was visibly very thick-Motorex Formula 4T SAE 15W/50 MA2-4L for 53 Euros, I noticed that gear shifting became more difficult. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but a couple of times, the gear even slipped out on its own while I was in 5th gear at high RPMs.

I actually am not sure - it's my dad's, and he keeps his insurance private. It also depends on where you live, the color of the car, and the age and gender of the driver. So, you should probably see if you can just get a rough quote from your insurance company to see what they say.

The chrome tips are 104mm, and the exterior carbon fiber wrapped part is 114mm.

It took me about 7-8 hours. This is only due to the fact that you have to work from underneath the car and from on top as well. It's a very in-depth, tedious process, and you must be rather skilled and knowledgeable. It's a hard install, but it's totally worth it. Tight spaces and removal of auxiliary parts is necessary sometimes. But I'd say it's worth it! At the end of the day when you're driving around and you feel and hear the difference, you forget you even installed it.

Yes, and yes! Radio works with the CarPlay, as I've tried, qnd it uses the OEM microphone.

I can't say for sure, but as I've heard you don't need a tune, but you won't get the most out of your modifications without one. You'll also likely have a check engine light from the downpipe (assuming you go catless or similar). The best thing to do would be to get a tune, so you can take advantage of your mods and get the most power out of them, and remove any lights or codes your car may throw due to your mods.

Depends on what you want and have. You could buy individual stages, or, like I have, you could get the super license, with every stage, every option, and every feature. Granted, it is the most expensive, but you get what you pay for. Every single feature and option, and you can fine-tune it to your car and mods. That's what I'd recommend, especially if you plan on continuing to mod your car. If you buy one single stage, you don't get the multi-map, or all the options and features. If you mod your car more, or remove some mods, you may not be able to edit it to suit your car. H9wever, to get you up and running, and get rid of your CEL for your downpipe, id recommend looking into a stage 1 tuje. If your car has the required aupporting mods, maybe even stage 2 or stage 2+ That's just my 2 cents!

Rain doesn't affect this intake, even in lots of rain, any damage is very unlikely, even with such a high-flow intake like this BimmerHaus one.

Yes! It is highly recommended to do so. Same with cars, even. Most kits bring a new drain plug/bolt, anyway, so you should be fine!

@@MotoRevs I’ve never replaced any drain bolt in any car and have had no problems not saying it’s better but I’m trying to figure out if that’s just recommended because my bikes manual dosent mention replacing it just cleaning it
