Sold the house, cars and gave the dog and cats away to good homes and now traveling the Loop. 6000 miles in a year through the intracoastal waterway. All the way to Canada and back to Tennessee.
Y'all hit on some great points. Discipline, budget, delayed gratification, hard work, credit to God, working together towards a goal, etc. Those are the foundations to building a life and a marriage with purpose. I have a flat bed f450 and travel the same way but with two side by sides on the truck and a camper behind. We live the same way frugally I also get that "must be nice" comment from people, and man does it rub me wrong also. I am glad to have found you guys and I look forward to seeing your future journeys.
Great video! Fantastic that you give the glory to God. That's how I have lived since (mostly) I got saved over 50 years ago. I haven't owned a sticks and brick home since 2007 in the US. I do have a paid off small home in the Philippines though. I downgraded from a 2800sq ft home to: the v berth of a sailboat, a converted 6x12 cargo camper trailer, a utility shell on a pickup & sleeper of a semi truck (getting ready to get back on the truck for a few months). Never been less stressed or happier since I got out of debt and simplified. You definitely have a new subscriber!

I admire you guys. I was going to do same thing. Then I got degenerative disc disease in my lower spine. I can drive but i have to be reclined so I have to have bigger trucks, but then there is the fact that I take opiates for pain management. It does not affect my driving but legally it's illegal. So my dreams of just travelling out west I think are over. I do have some plans that should allow me to within 3 years at least go on vacation just not perminate traveling. I can't fathom hauling 2 kids with me though. Yall must have patience out of this world lol
When I saw you guys and your buggy in SMORR for the first time it only took 5 minutes of watching you and your friend wheeling and talking to you briefly to realize you were good people. Talked to you the next night for a few minutes but probably could have talked for hours. That was all before finding out you were bonified TH-cam celebrities. 😂 Hopefully I'll run into you guys again somewhere along the trail.
