I did this trail for the first time November 2020, in my TJ rubicon. 37s, 5.38 gears, d44 front and rear on 2" suspension lift, 1.25" body lift and metalcloak fenders/flares front and rear on basically stock wheelbase. Did every required obstacle with no winching. Was a blast! Drove 2k miles out from PA to wheel for the week then drove 2k miles back home, no trailer for this Jeep!
@@PeckBrothers he really can man. I love built rigs like the red one but it is so fun to wheel with and watch people who can drive with a basic rig and just flat out dominate! Keep it up!
Had this channel recommended, probably cuz I just bought my first jeep tj, and subbing for the intro alone. Looking forward to diving into your content. Great video btw. Enjoyed it.
We’ll done boys. Great video, driving, and video production! Gonna share with my kids these vids in hopes that they will be inspired to continue wrenching with me in the garage and learn to love this sport!!!! Keep it rad!
Awesome video as always! It was interesting seeing how the Jeeps stack up and what their strengths are! Also, very funny with great edits, informative, and entertaining content as always as well! Plus, something about hearing those engines go! Finally, at 9:31, after that, let's try and remind Kallie not to die too soon! We need to keep her around seeing as she's as top tier as you guys! Again, great content as always!
Thanks for the great video! I'll be hitting this trail next September. I was in Moab in June did 7 Jeep Badge of Honor trails in my 23 JL 2dr on 33s I did take some bypasses and winched but had a great time
I just wanted to say nice job on getting the almost stock jeep up that trail. I think one of the funnest things I get to do in rock crawling is take my almost stock cherokee (3" lift on 33" open diff) on trails most would say I can't do. Like the guy who rolled his cherokee on dishpan springs in cali, he had 6" long arm and lockers, said I wold not make the trail. I had to inform him I had just done the trail a couple months ago, no damage... LOL Well done guys....
Wheelbase is a big gamechanger. TJ and and LJ, most of the time, the LJ has the advantage. Headed to Moab this fall with my CJ5. Many of the climbs will be a huge challenge.
Came across this channel the other day. Gotta say this channel is pretty fuckin epic. Gonna binge watch some other videos for this Labor Day weekend! Nice driving fellas 🤙🏽
Interesting to watch because it's clear early on that you're underestimating the street Jeep. Nice to see that shift through the video, and see those driving skills come through!
1st time seeing your content and you had me subscribed when you said raise in the back of the Jeep with your brothers.❤ awesome driving on chewysi . had to winch my 4cly TJ up that hill WITH LOCKERS. 🙌
Ok Alex outstanding job of driving👍. The rig has lots of heart now if THE TEAM gives it some TLC and the up grades IT’S A KEEPER for sure 😅. Thanks for sharing the trip!
Great video! Love your guys content! The Jeep looks like it’s doing amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻 And nice driving getting the basically stock TJ through. 😆 Hope to run in to ya on the trail one day!
Awesome video guys…just found y’all and am definitely a subscriber! My wife and I have made it up stuff on a YJ with 33’s and lockers that folks in v8 unlimited rubicon’s on 37’s have failed. But then again, I ain’t skeered to push a $7k jeep and some folks in a $70k jeep are!
I love this video so much because i got a zj with combo dana 30/35 and i wanna use 35 tires so bad but here in Portugal to be street legal you can't change the axles! So i'm trying build ones but all people say i'm polishing a turd! Then i see this video! My hopes are up again! Keep up!
that dana 30/35 combo held up great for us! i think only having a limited slip rear was a good thing so it wasn’t under so much pressure! if that’s all you can do, you can definitely still have a good time😎
I stumbled across this video today and wanted to throw a big shout out and thank you to you guys. I'm one of those guys with a jeep setup pretty much exactly like your street jeep. I want to get to where your other jeep is of course, but amazing driving man! I can without a doubt say I could not have done that.
Thank you so much!!! So grateful to have people like you watching and enjoying the videos. On the other hand, I promise you could do it. It definitely takes practice and getting comfortable in your Jeep but you could do it no doubt!!! Thanks again for watching 😁😁
I just started watching yall and it is awesome yall are that close when I was 17 I lost my brother he was only 20 I wonder all the time what we would be doing because we was very close he was my bestfriend
That almost stock TJ on 35's and a front locker did REALLY well. I still prefer my old Jeep. 07 Rubicon JK on 35's with 5:13 gears and 4dr JK springs with a teraflex 2.5 budget boost.
Your lil meems you threw in the video and like when the wind was blowing ya show a clip of a frickin hurricane 🌀 🤣 that is some funny shit guys. Im a brother of 2 oldest and i relate to you guys cause of that, jeepin and the fact you guys are awesome dudes and great fabricators. 👍
Great video and y’all are awesome but why are there no airing down the tires? I haven’t wheeled out there and it may be different, but you get so much better traction when you air down.
Great content! I do like apple to oranges comparisons although I wish you all would have done it with a 4 door with lockers just to get similar wheelbases.
That's the difference between $5000 and $150,000...most people that have normal jobs are going to put the money into their house payments and food for their family.
I was questioning if it was open in the back. That's pretty good though considering it was open. Now I'm questioning if you did have an lsd it would have made a difference
OK, great video, don't know if it was mentioned already, BUT, air it down. The Stock type tj looks like it has 40psi in the freaking tires. Give it a chance!!! Air down.....
Since weight is just as important as the other mods you listed, it’s not really fair the TJ has 3 full size guys in it and the built Jeep only has 1 guy.
