Point number 4 is great we always pack spare clothes and toiletries. Luckily only needed it once so far after our flight got cancelled resulting in an overnight stay in a hotel a couple of years ago.

Number 2 YES! I always get so annoyed watching packing videos and the “super organized mothers” give a suitcase to each member and I always wonder what they would do if a case goes missing. I always split some clothes for each person in each piece of checked luggage and I do #4 as well. Pijamas, clothes and (optional) swimwear in my carry-on just in case and also great for quick access in case your flight lands late.

It’s something my parents always did when I was younger too so I’ve just carried it on, makes perfect sense!
