Minimalist pack with me! Pack with me for one week with a carry-on suitcase! Here is how to pack with only a carry-on suitcase. I was able to put one week of clothes in a carry-on by using lots of packing accessories :) I also have a personal item with me which is my backpack! I use my Away carry-on luggage and pair with Bei's cosmetic bag which can fit so many of my toiletries.

A little tip, it’s probably better to put the undergarments in the carry-on and your liquids in your backpack. When you have to pass through security and need to show your liquids, you don’t have to open up your carry-on since it’s all in your backpack. (To be safe, put your perfume also in your liquid bag).

Ahhh good point!! I have TSA precheck so I can keep everything inside hehe. But I’ll definitely do this when traveling internationally!

Great video! I love using packing cubes to stay organized while packing. It's always a struggle not to overpack, so making a list ahead of time would probably help with that - I'll give it a try!

Idk if you’re aware, but if a flight is pretty full, they run out of overhead storage space. They will gate check your carry on bag. Yep, our nice bags will get tossed about. If had it done to me and an item I was protecting, by putting it in my carry on, got broken.

Suggestion: unless you have TSA Pre-Check, you really should reverse how you've packed your shoes and undergarments in your backpack with how you packed your toiletries in your suitcase. If the liquids are in your suitcase, you'd have to open it up to get them out for TSA.

I noticed you out your perfume in your makeup bag but it’s going in a carry on… do you out that in your liquid bag or do you get through tsa with it like that? 2:27
I guess it helps when one is slim trim. I need Atleast 6 bras for a 7 day trip and I would be able to put just 2 in that packing cube😂
You may want yo check out the BEIS backpack. It opens up all the way and it has a sleeve so you can slide it in your suitcase handlebar. I highly recommend it.

Can I pack two extra empty purses into my carryon luggage? And also carry a tote for personal item? Or will TSA not allow my to pack extra purses into my carryon suitcase?
TSA doesn’t care how many totes and purses you bring. They only care about ensuring you have the authorized amount of liquids and finding contraband. The only entity who will care what you are bringing on board is the airline you’re flying with. It depends on what your boarding class ticket allows and if your baggage and baggage size is compliant with their policy. You can pack 50 purses and totes into your carry on. As long as the bag meets the airline baggage standard and you’re allowed to bring a carry on on the plane, you’re good.
Whenever I travel I always try to fit everything in a carry on and backpack. I haven’t tried packing cubes yet, but I might give it a try!

I somehow always struggle with packing my luggage (same kind of you had), especially in fall/winter season because I like to take along a lot of sweaters and hoodies.. do you have any tips on how to fold/roll those the best?
@@tijay8507 sorry you felt that way ): I have found that folding in half and rolling allows me to fit the most!
I tried packing cubes. Not for me. I use the vacuum sealer bags and it saves so much space

Is your packing list in another video? I see you use cubes etc but unless you list something like 3 shirts, 1 jeans, 1 shorts, 7 panties and why (I wear 1 pair jeans and pack 3 business dress pants for work etc) it doesn't really explain how you fit 7 days into small carry-on. For 12 day hiking adventure cruise I found 1 pair zip off hiking shorts/pants 1 rain pants, 1 water resistant jogging pants and wearing jeans on the plane was adequate for bottoms because as Rick Steves says fast dry material is good so you can wash in sink and air dry in your room without waiting 3 days for cotton to dry.. Otherwise nice video

I like you, Maya, but the title for this video is 100% misleading because it's not a minimalist's bag. You are PACKING SOOO MUCH, just like 90% of society. The only difference is that you are taking small sized items and use packing cubes, and pack a separate backpack, too.
Yeah this is definitely not minimalist! This is more than I would normally pack for a week without even trying to be minimalist
Why do people in these videos pack their liquids bag in their suitcase?! You know you have to take it out at tsa. You're the reason the line gets held up.
