    This literally the best video i have ever seen since ive been searching for an answer 10 months now... this happened to me Dec 2022. I had been under alot of stress and anxiety for the whole of 2022 ...from start to end.... im also a christian and i absolutley love u put together a guide that glorfies god and also breaks down the details of d human anatomy, how it works and the path to take to recovery.... after watching this i dreamt it last night... i was so excited... this has been horrible ... ive been praying effortlessly and i believe by faith that this is god's answer to my prayer... i also love how u explained that its not a quick fix and also how god heals but he will not control your emotions to life situations and will also alow us to go through things and make lifestyle changes dat will make us stronger.... your absolutely amazing.. god bless your heart!!❤❤ i pray god gives me the mind set and encouragment to be consistent and push through this guide.. blessings from Trinidad

      I think it just adds to the stress you feel when they imply that you should be able to just snap out of it. Or claiming that they are having panic attacks themselves when it's obvious they aren't. But I guess that's different than when they actually want to hear what you are going through.

      That is so true. I had all these symptoms too. It took my doctor two years to conclude it was anxiety.

    • @jf8461

      I myself did not understand what was going on! That added to the fear. I thought it could be this, then that, on and on. Until I came across a person who had actually experienced it themselves, and now was helping others. He explained it so well, like he was in my shoes! It was such a relief 😮‍💨

    I just found your channel this morning. I’m struggling with anxiety and my brain doesn’t feel right. I used to feel joy, and daydream and imagine scenarios. I used to love to write, clean my house and do all the things. I have no motivation, brain fog, zero clarity. I just don’t feel right at all. I’m hoping through your recovery guide, I can feel normal again. I weaned off of benzo and just take a low dose anxiety med. I want to be able to stop taking that as well and fully trust God for my sanity

    This story is almost EXACTLY like mine. This was so uplifting. I’ve been “sick” with a sensitized nervous system for almost two years now. I don’t have nearly as many symptoms as I did before but I still have chronic derealization. 24/7. I just want to feel better again one day. I also got diagnosed with POTS after all this started. Im so anxious when I go into restaurants or stores, I always feel like im gonna faint and then I get horrible dizziness. And so much more. I get bouts of the worst hopelessness I’ve ever felt. But these vids prove to me that Im not alone and I will get through it. It started when I was 21, im 23 now and don’t want to hide inside my house for the rest of my 20s.

      I have very similar symptoms: extreme anxiousness when in stores, restaurants, movie theatre. I used to love going to the movies, now it's a white knuckle experience for me. Even just having family over sometimes my symptoms will arise, which can make me extremely sad that I'm not able to enjoy their company. I left the Marine Corps in 2012 and after my last deployment was when this started for me. I was once a warfighter that thrived in combat in Afghanistan and now I have trouble eating dinner at a restaurant. There are some periods where my symptoms aren't severe and some periods (like now) where they are. I've found that the periods of my life where I'm busy and invested in something I care about are when I'm able to manage better. I think it's important to keep moving forward, always, no matter how slow you're moving. I know it can be difficult to stick to a routine with these symptoms, but I think that's very important as well. During those periods of hopelessness, it becomes easier to skip workouts, chores, reading, but then I find my symptoms become worse. Unfortunately, the only thing that gave me relief from all this was alcohol, which led to self medicating, which led to a problem. I've been sober 6 months now, which is great, but it's also left me with no relief. However, I think confronting it instead of avoiding it, in time, will help.
      It's easy to feel completely alone with these symptoms, in fact I think that feeling of isolation and loneliness may be the worst part. It's an invisible struggle that's almost impossible to explain to others and hard to even identify yourself! I hope it helps to know that I experience very similar symptoms and know exactly what you're talking about. It's even helpful for me to write this out, I've never told anyone about my symptoms before. I've just lived in quiet struggle for a long time.
      Something to think about: When you recover (not if, but WHEN), think of how much mental fortitude and strength you'll have developed from having to deal with this for so long? Anyways, I hope this helped somewhat. I'm extremely sorry you're dealing with this, but just know that you are certainly not alone in this struggle

    I can appreciate a lot of your perspective on the recovery and healing process, especially as a believer. As a praise and worship leader, I have been prayed over many times and I have stood in my own spiritual authority as well. When you said that you were at your point of begging God to take it away from you, I have been there so many times. It is such a hopeless feeling.
    Many women in my family have struggled with their mental health, a lot of our issues are genetic. We all have sensitized nervous systems.
    A spot where I disagree a bit. I do not personally believe we can all get through it without medication. My journey with healing is ongoing, but I personally believe that God helped me find the right people so I could get prescribed the right meds to start sorting out my brain. Will I ever be off meds completely, maybe not, but my peace and my healing is in my creator.
    Thank you for making your content. Your symptoms, your story, it’s so relatable. Peace and blessings ✨

    Wow I can relate to this almost 100%! I’ve tried almost every med out there and I feel like they make me worse. I have anxiety of every type general, social, health and many many more. I also have agoraphobia and leave once a week if that. On top of that I have svt and those episodes literally make you feel like you’re dying which causes so much trauma. I can’t drive nor work that would be impossible right now. I also struggle with dpdr which is probably the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been having panic attacks 3 to 4 times a day again since I’m now diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Im now I’m bed bound which is super frustrating because I have 5 beautiful children that need me. I’m so glad you shared your story for people like me that need to understand that they’re not alone. Wow.. You have the same problems that I have. Panic disorder, anxiety and SVTs. The SVTs makes the anxiety so much worse because we have a real physical health issue to worry about. The SVT attacks are triggered by high stress and anxiety. Try to get your potassium levels and iron checked. These minerals play a crucial role in anxiety and SVTs.

    Thanks for sharing! Years of ignoring my body and past traumas, I fell in the anxiety cycle as well. It was horrible and I thought I was dying. Multiple ER visits as well, DPR, anxiety, depression, thoughts of not wanting to be here anymore, chronic fatigue. I fell on my knees one day and told God to heal me or kill me. I then found a TMS TH-cam guy and I had a ah ha moment!! It all made sense and I just started to believe that nothing was wrong with me. I very much relate to everything you said in this video, and I had two questions for you.
    1) did you every develop just a constant 24/7 feeling of anxiety & feeling like you were going to panic but there was no thought or fear fueling it? I understand that facing fears such as driving, stores, etc will desensitize them but I don’t know how that would work when I seem to be anxious for no reason?
    2) How did you cope with any guilt/sadness of dealing with this as a mother? Ever since having my daughter a year and a half ago, I have felt this overwhelming guilt/sadness bc of struggling w dpdr, I just want to feel close & connected with her. I think the guilt has made everything 10x worse.

    I’ve been living with anxiety and emetophobia since I was 8, now 41. The past several years I have been in this same exact state. I can relate to every symptom and have seen all of the doctors as well. When you are in the highly sensitive state, anything can be scary. I was having a very intense level 10 panic attack a couple weeks ago, the whole deal with all the symptoms. I jumped in the freezing cold shower bc of the hot flashes (terrified the hot flash would make me vomit or pass out), plus had a fan blowing on me. I remember the shower curtain billowing in the breeze of the fan and even that terrified me. And like you said you know this is not something to be afraid of but your brain doesn’t agree. Light scares me, dark scares me, hot scares me, cold scares me. Try escaping both at the same time lol. Impossible;). I also jolt out of a sleep all night and have that constant state of my body trying to go into a deep sleep but also being terrified (well my brain is, I would love to have a deep sleep). I’ve been taking klonopin when I absolutely have to, but it doesn’t take away the symptoms just makes you feel so awful and tired that you don’t have the energy to fight the panic anymore. They are both equally terrible in my opinion.

    Very helpful video thanks. This has been an increasing problem for me for some years now. I have slowly become aware of how sensitised my nervous system is. And also aware that I was a highly sensitive person to begin with. Makes me realise its a condition I have to accept and take steps to manage on a daily basis. I do think there are both mental, emotional and physical aspects to this condition. Eg I think we can be sensitive to emotional stressors but I think also there are biological and chemical factors that can also put us into fight/flight. Eg I think getting covid (or the jab) seems to have resulted in quite a few people getting POTs, tachycardia and dysautonomia symptoms. Which create a lot of similar symptoms to a state of high anxiety probably because they affect the adrenal system, histamine response and blood pressure. I wonder if before your gall bladder surgery you were given nitrous oxide / laughing gas to relax you prior to sedation? That can severely deplete your glutathione levels especially if you have an mthfr gene mutation.

    I can’t believe how similar this is to what happened to me in 2020. Same thing having my boyfriend take me to the hospital over and over and being sent home just to try to sleep and literally felt like I’d die for a week straight. Going to doctor after doctor,diagnosed with dysautonomia. I also have high CRP and Sed rate inflammation markers. Did you ever figure out what caused that? Have they gone away? I’d like to ask you about your headaches too. I have them daily still & have tried everything. I just subscribed to the Facebook page not sure if it’d be better to ask questions there. Also the fact that I just started learning about Jesus too right before finding this is wild to me.

    Got derealization from a bad weed experience, had it for 2.5 years, my symptoms are random light headedness, 24/7 detachment from reality sometimes way worse severity but always there, static in vision, floaters, afterimages, etc, panic attacks on and off of course, scary thought like being trapped in outer space is terrifying, no motivation at times, moments of severe depression and hopelessness and every once in awhile a glimmer of being hopeful, scared to take medication because I’m scared of how it will make me feel, random waves of energy in my head, tingling in hands and feet at times, random headaches, at random things will zoom out while driving, and I won’t get on a mower at all because after everything is warping and zooming out, can’t really sit still because it feel like something is kinda of moving me back in forth inside if that makes sense, like a weird balance thing, insomnia off and on,and finally just overall feeling unwell and lethargic, sick, fatigue, if anyone can relate to these symptoms please let me know.

    Did they give you compazin which is a nausea med during surgery? It could literally cause all this. Also POTS stinks. Please look up Dr. Josef. He has so much important info. Thank God you didn’t take the meds. I did. I’m joining your group. ❤

    Hi did you have eye floaters I have many especially a big circle which I don't know if it will ever go away. It came when my dpdr started. I am just wondering how long it took to go away

    • @emileeandbg
      @emileeandbg  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, very common symptom unfortunately. The most important thing is to desensitize your body so that the symptoms can start to fade. How long it will take to FULLY recover is different from person to person, though. I would like to ask about the DPDR, I remember my old memories, I was the one who lived, but now I feel like my personality has changed. I'm a stranger to myself, a stranger to my family, they seem to have changed. Is it normal ?

    Childhood trauma is a monkey I can’t get off my back. Do we make too big a deal of it? Is it our destiny? Can we get better even with high ACEs?

    • @emileeandbg
      @emileeandbg  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Follow my free guide and this will help desensitize your body and also respond to the trauma in a healthy way. Processing trauma and working through it is important but in my opinion, it's much easier to do once you get your body desensitized. I am sorry that you are still experiencing the heat of childhood trauma but it doesn't need to impact your body forever! Hang in there!!! Glad you're here.

    Did you feel the adrenaline in your brain like a speeding freight train? You can hear it and it hurts. I’m having chronic stress on top, trying to push through it and revving myself in the process. Often exposure can have the opposite effect for me but afterwards.

    • @emileeandbg
      @emileeandbg  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Totally normal about exposure! 1.) If you're not responding correctly it can make exposure less effective or even worse 2.) In general, even with proper response, having your body push back with symptoms is extremely normal and expected. Check out my free recovery guide for all of the info when it comes to recovery and exposure
