Yes to the idea of what promises do I make to myself. I’m not going to list them here because I’m actually revamping my whole idea of what I’m doing and I’m getting clear on that through reflection and some mapping out of the structure. However now I’ve written that I can think of some promises to myself! 1. I promised myself I would improve my immunity, inflammation and creaking by switching to a more nutritional diet. I’ve been doing that for 11 days. My promise is to continue with this for the next 11 days as I start to integrate the learnings into my lifestyle. 2. I promise myself to create at least 20 courses on Insight Timer before the end of the year (I have 8 right now). 3. I promise myself to complete my business remap (at least the first draft) before I travel to Copenhagen next Thursday. Because this provides me with a map of my why and allows me to say no to what doesn’t fit. ❤
What a fun list, JB. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'm making a similar list on the train back to Paris tomorrow (from Luxembourg) with dates and deadlines. It's inspiring to see what you're working on. XO
I feel very much out of integrity. I often break promises to myself. Recently, I find myself not keeping my word to others. This doesn't make me happy. I think it's time to look at what I am saying and more importantly, why. Am I agreeing to things I really want to do, or things I think I should do? Definitely something to look at.
Hi Susan: I really, really appreciate your honesty in this comment. And for what it's worth, I think you're on the right track: Are you agreeing to things you want to do, or are you just saying YES out of sense of obligation, for example? Such an important question to ask and answer. Let me know what you discover.
Is there a promise you keep making to yourself that you also keep breaking? No judgment about it. Just notice it and fix it. ❤
Hi Mary! That's exciting news about your novel and the competition.
@@marystrange5493it was fun to just submit it and pay the $20! Thanks so much . XO
Keeping fingers crossed that you win the competition.
@@susancristini7279 Thank you! It would be fun, but I'm just happy I had something to submit. 🙂
