- Let’s just say this is not the same Casper I remember jumping in the summer! His trot and canter work has come on leaps and bounds and he uses his body a lot more than he used to in his flatwork which feels lovely, but unfortunately today he seemed very underconfident while jumping which is a shame as he was a little superstar out in the jumping field in the summer! He cat leaped the first two upright fences, so we decided to take off his standing martingale and he was a lot happier afterwards, stretching his neck over the jump rather than bringing it upwards and nearly hitting me in the face each time. I’ve also never had Casper stop with me before so this lesson was a bit of an eye opener - he was getting quite stressed about the whole thing and tightened himself up once the poles came out which lead to him falling in, rushing and becoming quite flat into the jumps. Hopefully it’s just a phase (he’s still only a youngster) and he’ll be back happily popping fillers by summertime! As for the fall - pathetic or what 😂 it was my first fall in nearly three years so it’s been a long time coming! I just can’t believe I fell off at something so simple when I’ve sat everything Roger’s thrown at me (I’m fine by the way, it’s hard to get hurt when you fall off in slow motion..!). Anyway, no hard feelings, he's still a super cool little ponio!

My most pathetic fall is when I was cantering in the school and the pony went down the centre line and she took a bend and I slid off and landed on my feet. Then my instructor laughed and said " this is the time to take a bow and pretend you did it on purpose "

my most pathetic fall is, when practicing for a syncronised drill ride lost my stirrups ( I will say I have a foot disability so my ancles are very weak and i'm used to riding without stirrups cause I was always losing them, so I really should not have fell) went round a tight bend,ponio sped up because of the dangling stirrup hitting him on the bend, and I just slid traight off, did backwards roll, stood up like a meerkat and said 'I seriously did not just fall off like that'. I will also add that the pony I was riding is considered an armchair because of his muscle and width, and was deemed 'the horse that no one can fall off'....well I proved them wrong lol 😂

That was the smallest cleanest fall I've ever seen 😂. Quite funny in contrast to my very dramatic fall of Herbie Saturday (rather disappointed I didnt have it on film). Well done though!

My most pathetic fall is really bad I hadn't ridden in ages nor cantered, I got on a 16hh odd horse and wasn't expecting such a big bumpy canter I lost my stirrups when she went round the corner and off I went into a puddle 😂

Pretty much all of the falls I've had have been pretty pathetic... but the first one that comes to mind is when I was on this horse named Cody. I was in the process of gaining my confidence back after my first fall (where in I broke my arm!). I was bringing him down from the canter and leaning waaay way forward in the trot. I tensed up and just kind of stayed in a fetal position, didn't try to steer at all. Cody trotted to the center of the arena and just tripped and fell on his face. I slipped down his neck and did a somersault over his head, landing on my back. Afterwards, one of the parents watching the lesson asked me if I took gymnastics because of that seemingly perfect somersault 😂
My most pathetic fall is when I got a leg up but fell over onto the other side of the pony. My instructor laughed and said she wished she'd got it on camera!😂😂😂
Lol mine was at the end of the lesson and my instructor told me to do an around the world and for no reason I just fell off the side when I was turning lol 😂😂😂

That happened to me too! I was riding a 14.1 highland and my 6ft instructor legged me up so hard I flew straight over the other side 😂
Toxic Wolf I almost did that. I got a leg up from someone and I was getting in bareback. I started to fall over the other side and he had to pull on my leg to get me upright again

Most pathetic fall was either when I was little and all my friend's horse did was canter in a circle and I fell off, or not too long ago when the horse I was riding took off galloping (the tractor spooked her). I don't even know how I fell of that time... oh well! I'm sure every equestrian can tell you a ton of injuries and falls- after all, we're equestrians! Just in a moment, I can think of a bunch of falls, dozens of times horses acted up, and other injuries. Being stepped on, kicked, bucked off, bolted, refused to jump, spooked, big leaps over small jumps, reared, being bitten... ah, the life of an equestrian!
Yesterday my horse was hurt. I really hope he gets better soon...
i’ve only fallen once (i’ve been riding for 6 years and i am just good at staying on through bucks and refusals) and it was quite underwhelming i guess, my pony refused a jump and i flew off sideways and my back and head hit the jump, my mom thought i broke my back but the first thing i said when i stood up was “i’m okay, did you get that on video mom?” she did, and to this day it’s my favorite riding video i have

These videos are just so relaxing to me. The way the camera moves on top of the helmet and the consistent bouncing from the different types of Gaits. Just it’s so therapeutic to me.

My most pathetic fall was 5 years ago and I was doing round the worlds I was learning then, I slid right off the pony and fell on my backside! The pony was the smallest there....

Great video! I dont have a horse/pony of my own but I'm COMPLETELY obsessed with them! I'm going trekking on Thursday (22nd Feb) and I just CANT wait! It's for 4 hours up at the brekkon beacons!
I'm not going on Wednesday, and trekking is basically going on a hack/walk around the remote areas.

My most pathetic fall was when I used to ride a 12.1hh pony called pumba and he tripped over a trot pole and I slipped off and fell onto my bum
My most embarrassing "Fall",was when i wad doing no styrups and i somehow slid to the side of the horse and was stuck there with one foot in the styrup!!i lost my strength about two mins later and eventually was standing beside the horse,My instructor kept on saying "would you jump down!!',Ill never forget it.😑😳🐴😂

My most pathetic fall was when I was dismounting, and I guess my birth wasn’t tight enough, so I fell off and the saddle fell on top of me. 😂

This isn’t my own fall but another girl at my riding was riding a pony that is amazing has done working Hunter, Dressage, Show Jumping you name it he has done it and well. So he was in trot and he just lowered his head as he was starting to warm up as do quite a lot of the horses so at my riding before you take up a contact. This must have been a shock to her or something because she began to slip forward with him. It was the slowest fall I think I have ever seen and probably the easiest to recover from as I don’t really know how you could NOT fall of that pony

My most pathetic fall was when I was in the middle of a course and I landed from a jump perfectly fine, I was putting as much leg as I needed to, not even moving my hands when the pony (12.3 hands, named Savannah) just stopped. I slid foward in the saddle and landed just on her neck, but I slid back on. Savannah started walking and I was all of a sudden on her neck again, this time a little too far to get back on the saddle. I landed on my feet but then bent down to my knees. I kinda just laid there laughing 😂 Sorry Savannah! I gave her lots of treats after the lesson since I probably put her through a bit of neck pain considering our sizes and weights compared. Her owner said she was fine and that it wasn't a big deal.

My most pathetic fall was when I was riding bareback on a pony in the outdoor arena I just came out of canter and was walking towards the grass outside of the arena I was about to get of off but the pony decided to go the other way for some grass and I slid of the side. I looked at my dad and we both bursted out laughing😂
I was dismounting on a Shetland (Yes shetland!) And when my feet hit the ground I fell on my back 😂

My most pathetic fall has to be the time when I technically fell off before I was even on my horse 😂 I must’ve been around 10 or 11 (I feel old now 😂) when I was due to ride a little 12.2hh palomino pony for a free ride as I volunteered at my stables, and I’d built up enough leader points to ride. It was also my first time getting on from the block by myself. So I lead my pony to the mounting block, and just as I put my foot in the stirrup and started to swing up, he took a massive side step and I slid between him and the mounting block 😂 Needless to say I had the whole ride laughing at me and a very sore back from landing on the block, but I got back on and actually had a really good lesson 😂

My funniest fall was when I was doing a straight on the new pony. She was sooo stubborn. So basically, we were cantering up to the jump absolutely fine, and her strides were fine. Then she refused and I went FLYING over her head (still holding the reins) and I landed sat on the jump!!!!!!! 😂

The other day I was doing a jumping competition and the pony I was on pulled out of the jump and bucked at last minute. I was hanging off her, trying to get my balance and pull myself up when she ran past a jump. I wacked my face into the jump and my nose still hurts. It's literally purple! It was so funny though!

And we were just walking around on a field and then we said something that made us laugh so hard we BOTH like just slide off the horse and it was just walking slowly with long reins😂😂😂 it was so funny and the horse were like stopping looking at us like «really? I was only walking»😂

Mine is cantering up to about a 30cm cross jump, the horse over jumped it, (4yr old gelding) and I slid forward, off to one side and my leg went in one stirrup, and I was up to my knee in the stirrup ;-;
There's a pony at my riding school called Nemo, he's a 14hh piebald gelding cob. He likes to canter really quickly towards jumps and refuse at the last second. My first time jumping him he was fine, but the second time I overestimated him and I fell right down his neck, definitely my most pathetic fall as I should've seen it coming lmao, still laugh about it now!
My most horrible fall is when I was on my horse Izzy and I was 8 years!! But when I trotted ofc I was 8 so I didn’t have much experience so I accidentally leaned for word and the horse went and done this really fast canter really fast one and I was 8 and I didn’t know how to canter so I ended up falling off in the lunging pen!!!!! I landed on my face and I had a face full of sand and I was crying and I think winded my self is well!! Broken collarbone!!! Ofc I on another horse now but boy was that bad this is my 3rd horse after!!! Oh no I can feel the pain! X

the first time I rode bareback when I was getting ready to hop off I slid down him and fell on my butt... I don't talk about that one but it doesn't really count as a fall. My first fall was my sorta first time cantering and what I mean by sorta is that I canter? a Paso Fino and a walking horse so I went from those smooth horses (at my moms old bosses neighbors house, I exercise her horses) to a AQH at my lesson barn so it was really bumpy and I wasn't expecting to have to use so much of my foot/ leg to hold on because I was on a lunge line and it was small so wide turns and a big horse... doesn't mix and I flew right over his head. :') another time I got bucked off by a Paso Fino at least it wasn't a far drop it still hurt a bit because all I had was grass and dirt where I landed.
Mine is we were on a hack about to stop cantering and the horse I was riding just went a tiny bit faster and I was off over her shoulder

I fell off in a camp “show” and as I pass the other campers (I have been riding for two years and that week had been their first time on a horse) they all said “did it hurt?” And “it’s ok” and stuff like that and the horse got scared of them yelling at me and he does a mini buck but when I came off, he spooked at a training block falling over and I almost hit a jump standard
My most pathetic fall has to be my most recent fall , so I was cantering ( about to canter over a pole ) and then I did a really tight turn and then I wanted to grab her neck then I missed it and did a little roll then stood up straight away looked at my instructor then said “ not too sure what happend there” I laughed it off and got straight back on!
When I was 9 and I was cantering as I was quite worried because I hadn’t cantered much and lost my Styrrup but somehow managed to cling on even tho i didn’t have much leg muscle😂

My most pathetic fall was quite a few years ago, we were bareback doing around the world I was riding this 11.2hh Shetland pony and she took 1 step (at walk) and I slid off the side. And I could not get back on after because it was “too high”.

My most pathetic fall was with raised poles (those 90 cm blocks you have but on their sides and the pole up at one end) and my little mare decided it was a jump and cantered it, even though the distances were for trotting, stride over the first one, kinda bounced over the second but then stopped with front feet over back feet not and I just flew over her shoulder, the people on the ground said it was the smallest fence she'd ever chucked any one off over

My most pathetic fall was 2 years ago... I was doing simple little crossrails when I sneezed and fell... I didn't wee before riding either... It was quite embarrassing..
My most pathetic fall was when I fell off my 16 hand gelding.....he was standing still..doing nothing....there was a saddle on....I managed to slip off him..let's just say I was a HORRIBLE rider back then,I can assure you I have gotten way better with my balance (I do barrel racing ,it takes a good balance and reinning also)

my most pathetic fall is when I was riding my friends horse on a hack but it was a windy day and we were cantering along and she shouted "keep going around this field" but I didn't hear her so I thought we were going into the next field and she and the pony I was on turned right and I went straight ahead and landed on my feet

My most pathetic fall was a few weeks ago I just got back on the same horse after a bad fall and she was cantering she put her head down I had a deathly grip and I fell forward face first
Once when I was riding I leaned too far forward at a relatively small jump and when my pony had landed with his front hooves I hadn't leaned back in time and fell onto the ground. I wish I still had the video, I rolled a bit when I hit the ground 😂
😂 My most pathetic fall was when I was 8 years old. I was small enough to ride a Shetland pony and I had just started riding. Anyway, i was riding a Shetland pony named tweedledumb (like in Alice in wonderland) I was just starting to learn the trot, I was trotting down the long side when I lost one of my stirrups. I didn’t know how to put my foot back in as I was only learning. The stirrups on his and his brothers (tweedledee) saddle were cone stirrups where your whole foot is covered by the stirrup, I hate those things btw. I started to slide down the side of the saddle to the point where I was just being dragged along the ground by this tiny Shetland pony on the hot sand. My other foot got stuck in the stirrup so I couldn’t stop myself from being dragged, not to mention that I had lost my reins completely. My instructor had to come to tweedledumb and halt Him herself! It wasn’t funny at the time but when I think back at it, it’s just something to laugh about! 😂

Are kids allowed to ride where you ride? If so I really want to know where you ride as it seems sooooo good there (from what I’ve seen from your videos)

When I was about 10 years old and I was doing horse riding I had a big horse not like this and I was about to do a double obstacle, I suddenly fell from the horse while it was ready to jump over it. And after that I was too scared to jump an obstacle with a horse 😫
I randomly started having a panic attack at the start of the lesson on a horse id never ridden before, so after a culmination of little mistakes and constant corrections from my trainer (bc silly me wouldnt tell her i needed a breather) i almosy ran over a girl i didnt see trying to set up a jump and finally slid off and landed on my back. I started crying and finally my trainer said “its ok just walk over there and take your time”

I had no stirrups and this was years ago and I was like kind of beginner and the horse spooked and I fell forward and my body protecter got stuck on the saddle and after it got unstuck I fell off 😂
Awe little Casper 😍 most pathetic fall I’ve ever had is on a 28 year old seasoned hunter at a little 60cm and he very slowly went from a canter to a walk and I just slithered down his neck. First and only fall in the past 6 years of 😂forgot what the ground felt like 😬

My most pathetic fall was when my instructor drew a chalk line down the middle of a grid and the horse I was riding spooked at it. Well, I lost my stirrups and was hanging off the side as he went over the first jump, so I let go afterwards and he finished the line without me
Meanwhile, on an almost horrible fall, I was riding a horse that was given to the barn because he spooked at everything. We changed direction for a grid and he stopped as he was about to go over the jump. I slid in front of the tack and clung to his neck as he started bucking and picking up the pace before I was able to sit up, bring him back, and adjust my seat

The first fall I had wasn’t really pathetic. My horse took off with me bucking then galloping as usual and I couldn’t stay on that time.
My most pathetic fall was while I was riding my gypsy vanner mare bareback in the jumping arena, and we knocked a jump over, so I stopped right next to it and tried fixing the jump, while still on my horse. I slid right off to the side, while laughing hysterically I must add, my mare just looked at me, confused af, in the end, we left the arena on foot for me sliding off so many times.
One time I was the barn and a lot of my other friends were riding, well a horse that needs a bit of help, kicked my horse as we were cantering, he started galloping off as I’m hanging on by a thread. I decided to let go because I’d had enough, and I fell off and almost sprained my leg 😂 also was really dirty, as everyone stares at me asking if I’m okay. I almost cried, not from falling but from my freaking mind feeling like a blob, and everyone thinks I suck at riding.
To answer your question: I was mounting a horse with nothing but a saddle pad and the saddle pad slipped and I fell off the other way 😖
My most pathetic fall was my 3rd fall where I was riding a like not even 10hh Shetland pony (before you say anything I am just a tiny bit to big to ride him but can ride him still) in a round pen and he started cantering (I was not ready and I did not know how to canter properly) and he put his head down and threw me to the edge of the round pen and my friend started laughing at me lol
