Was there a vertical spine crease breaking color all the way down the spine on the Wolverine? I hate that. I just purchased and received Infinity Gauntlet #1 newsstand cgc 9.8 with said spine crease breaking color all down the spine. To me it's not a 9.8 and will returning it back to the seller. It sucks the covers during manufacturing did that back then.
1) of them it’s a defect in the printing ink and not a crease. 2) if seller sold you a CGC 9.8 and you got a CGC 9.8 it seems unfair to me to send back to seller. They gave you what you asked for.
@@TopComicsPressing no! They only showed me two picks of the book, front and back. If there were picks of the spine I would had never bid on it! Cgc makes mistakes on their grading, everyone knows that! The book also has a bindery tears at top and color rub off bottom left corner. It's NOT a 9.8!
@@TopComicsPressing btw, I'm not a nubie here, have scanned over books now for 40 years! For cgc to give this book a 9.8 is blasphemy! I paid $380 for a newsstand book I thought would look immaculate! It's crap!
Thank you for just showing the book and grade. Before pictures were great also.
Welcome

CGC gives us a 9.8 because it was a manufacturing issue not a handling or car issue
