I had that same problem. I had thick comics, and I was putting them in a short box and then all the books were kind of turning to the side and I couldn’t fit as many in all the books were shifting over to the side, so I flipped some of them around that way I was actually able to fill up the whole box.

Long time collector but new to cleaning/restoring. Is there a difference between cleaning and whitening or bleaching? Would this process be considered cleaning or restoring? I know some collectors like one but not the other.

Somebody at CGC must have a box of damaged Amazing Spider-man 252s which have a big dent and spine tick in the middle of the spine., which they replace with your nice copies. I have seen 4 vids now of bananafied Amazing Spider-man 252s - all have the exact same damage.

I'm relatively new to pressing and I've been getting wavy pages on my books post pressing. What's the best way to press out the waves? And is the waving due to too high of a temperature or too much moisture? I steam them but without a whole lot of moisture and was pressing 160F for 600 seconds.

Hey, thanks for posting this video! Very informative! I want to ask a few things as I have a few books which actually show signs of foxing (mold related as I've seen some of it nearby) and I want to use your method to clean them. So my questions are: - What wave length is applicable for the use for books and will not harm ink or paper? - How long it is safe to expose books to UV? - have you thought about adding a cooler to that box at the top? I'm planing on building such thing in order to prevent other books from being infected by the used books with mold that I have.

I am a vintage radio restorer and i stumbled across your video as i was looking for a solution to whiten speaker grill cloths in situ (still glued to the wooden board. I'm pretty sure this would work on cloth, at least on originally light coloured cloths. Unless you do not recommend it for some reason. Again thank you.

Much easier to use a melamine magic erasure. Use light pressure to clean entire cover without worrying about rubbing out color.
