Don't target the materials because if you do the limpet will self destruct after it has delivered the targeted item. Just fly close to the materials and launch a limpet. The limpet will collect everything in range and then park under your ship. It will remain for the lifetime of the limpet or until you go to supercruise. Dav's Hope is a good alternative for those who aren't combat focused.
super helpful I have been looking for chemical processors so i can max the fsd on my anaconda, if anyone reads this i recommend using the mamba for getting the mats
Collect everything that you can. Stay away from “illegal salvage” because you’ll get jumped by law enforcement. Find a Manufactured materials trader, and trade for Chemical Processors. Find a Raw materials trader for things like manganese, phosphorus etc. do the same. I use INARA, to find the traders. I’m in Cennicenino and Zarka back and forth. Cenn has a really good Hight RES site right now and a mfg materials trader. Zarka has a Raw materials trader. It’s a fun grind you don’t need a fuel scoop because they are only a few jumps away from each other. And the bad guys are paying on average 1/2 million space bucks. I’m sure there are better systems and better methods. But for me this was just a system that I figured out. Must have Collector Limpets. Make sure you know how to use them. You need the controller and the limpets. I’m sure you know this already. But just in case you don’t . It was a pain for me because I didn’t know how to use limpets so it took a few back and forth runs. Kind of like DIY at home. You make 5 trips to the hardware store before to figure out what you really need. Hope this helps.
2024, They have nerfed the Viper MK3 you can only use class 3 components in the core set up not class 4 as seen in video :( This video is some what useless. And you have not got a fuel scoop, so jumping from system to system is useless.

Chemical Processors are also available at Dave's Hope (spawned on surface) and Hot Jupiter (via Beluagas massacre).
Do the resource extraction sites have to be high as well, if I’m in a high security system?
You'll have a better chance at high or hazardous sites
@@lootandgrind thank you
👍👍👍
How do we find these systems?
In the Galaxy map go to map mode, security, and select high security to filter the map. If you still can't find one, try LHS 20 system
@@lootandgrind cheers dude
