70LY Krait Phantom with 3rd grade shield in case of hard landing, all modules are D class except FSD and 6A fuel scoop. 16ton corrosion resistant rack and hangar for single SRV can also serve as a search and rescue or occasional pickup of stuff randomly found during mission. It is able to land almost eveywhere. Also has a single heatsink if needed and will have enough power to use AFMU.
I have been flying my Type-10 Defender as my exploration ship, with a 45ly jump range, for the last four years. I love it for all the optional storage space. I have an Anaconda with a 79ly jump range. But i love my type-10 and It has all hardpoints as well.

For anyone watching this, wanting to start their early exploring career, the most important thing is to be able to love the ships you're flying. It's going to be a long while of just you, your ship and SRV. The Dolphin runs so cold that having the smaller scoop doesn't matter because you can scoop as close to the star as you want while charging your FSD for the next jump, while most ships require you to scoop, then move away from the star before charging to jump. Also, jumping from within scoop range allows the Dolphin to pre-scoop between the time you dump fuel into the FSD and the time you actually jump, so you already have some of the fuel back that you would otherwise have to get from scooping at the new star. Amazing little ship with just enough room for all the essentials. And it's both fast and agile.

DBX has the second-best jump range, is incredibly easy to land almost anywhere on a planet, and from my experience has been second best for thermal management.
I love the fact with the DBX you don't have to compromise on anything, you can throw A-rated parts on there and barely lose any range.
@@mertar3608 Agreed. The only ship that has a higher jump range is the Anaconda, and that's not fun to fly in supercruise and is nigh impossible to land. DBX gets too much of a bad rep for the smaller fuel scoop, but I never had any issues with fuel in all my thousands of hours exploring.
@@PowerofRock24 From all my time exploring, the only ship that has served me better than the DBX is the Dolphin, Which is a funner, faster luxury DBX at the cost of jump range.
How did you get so much money sir?
that's not a lot at all buddy, you can easily spend 600 mil on a single ship, probably even more and carrier core cost is 5 bil.
@@SethiozProject my max spending on a ship is 100M and that's already pretty much for me. Can yu do a tutorial on how to make so much money? Would love to have a carrier one day (at the pace I'm getting money in game, it would take a life time)

Mine is 91.07 LY :D

@@77pigme77 Wow, I would love to see that build!
Your Dolphin has Mass Manger, when Deep Charge would be better, just saying!
your ears can't hear what I'm saying. just saying! Learn to watch more than 1 minute of the video before itching away with ants in pants, I have CLEARLY explained about mass manager and deep charge and WHY I have what i have ... people like you make me sad :(
Itching away after 1 minute and then leaving dumb comments without realizing that it's been explained on the video.
@@SethiozProject I said it was better that was all. You assume too much!
Deep charge will only give a little bit more than Mass Manager, but in exchange uses more fuel. A lot of Dolphin pilots including myself use Mass Manager for fuel efficiency over the small increase.
@@jamesbigglesworth4677 The guys an angry blithering idiot. Doesn't know how to play properly.
@@SethiozProjectYou are very confrontational and rude when it comes to responding to peoples’ opinions about something.
Man, why do most ships look so weird in this game?
Even EVE seems a lot more stylish, especially now since the revamp of most asymmetric ships.
I think they’re a more practical kinda style
