- Gravity Falls aired its Weirdmageddon series finale on Disney Channel in 2016. Dipper and Mabel waved goodbye to Grunkle Stan, Soos, Wendy, Ford, and the town of Gravity Falls. How has life changed since then? What is the legacy of Gravity Falls, and is there anything to look forward to?
Gravity Falls is one of my favorite cartoons of all time, and it brought me to where I am today. Series creator Alex Hirsch, along with many of the crew members, are still taking what they learned from Gravity Falls with all their future projects. Whether it be The Owl House, Amphibia, Big City Greens, Inside Job, or anything else, the legacy of the show lives on through these crewmembers! Even the Gravity Falls fandom is helping to keep the name alive.

Gone, but not forgotten. Gravity Falls, not only being the best DisneyTVA show, but also have a MASSIVE impact to our lives to make new friends searching new codes, and respecting each other's theories and opinions about it.
GF held the fans altogether because this show knows is a love letter to all of us around the world.

Don't know if it's the best animated Disney show, as I think it competes with Phineas and Ferb, but without a doubt it's in my top 2.

This is one of those shows that really seemed to hit the nail on the head. It always feels like a journey watching through the whole series and while I started watching it after it ended, I'm still happy for all the memories I enjoyed with it and I still appreciate all its perfections and imperfections.

You have to admit, Gravity Falls has become a iconic classic with its growing fanbase and whatnot, even after it ended back in 2016. Looking back, it truly was childhood memory worthy.

This show took less is more to a whole new degree, indeed. It was Alex Hirsch's desire to have it last only two seasons, and I respect that. But so much story and character development was found in these two seasons.

In 2016, I was still in middle school, and now, I am in college. It really has been a long time.

Me and my family would always go to this holiday park/holiday centre and whenever we were there I'd watch Cartoon Network when we weren't doing anything and sure enough, I started watching Gravity Falls. It would always make, me, my dad especially, and everyone else there laugh and hearing that incredibly iconic theme song bring a tear to my eye almost every time I hear it. Those memories wouldn't stop there though, with the pandemic going on and all of us being in lockdown/quarantine, I turned on Disney+ and would binge watch the show from the beginning, right to the very end. This kept me going and reminds me of the summer vibes I got that gave me light in that dark time. My friend also watched the full show at the same time I did, so we could share the same interest together on video calls or playing online games. The amount of love I have for this show is unreal and I want to thank Alex Hirsch and the rest of the team for making this amazing show like no other...
I can certainly say that this show had an impact on my life and started me down a road where i ended up pursuing a career in telling stories (via comics) i was 13 when the show ended and now i am 19 turning 20 in late summer it wild to think how this show feels so young despite it being years goes to show how fantastic of show it was.
Dudes, I just rewatched Gravity Falls a few days ago, no surprise it still holds up, this show was legendary.

It's really insane to think that this show ended 6 years ago. And soon, 10 years since it started! I watched the show a little late, but I still loved it. Gravity Falls will always have a place in my heart. It's the root of all popular Disney cartoons we have now! It had made such a big impact on other shows, animation, people, and me. Gravity Falls is still going strong after all these years.
I started this year or last year during my obsession with the Illuminati and the Bermuda Triangle. I thought Bill Cipher was part of the puzzle.
I was 12 or 13 when this show first aired,I doubted it before the first episode but ended up super obsessed with it after the first episode. Im 21 now, and grateful for the many years that I got with this show. I may have moved on to other shows/stuff but I still remember this show that started it all. 💖

Gravity Falls will never be forgotten
This show really means a lot to me. It was the first one that I watched and cared about continuity characters and the mysteries. It was so interesting to watch episodes, fans duscussing the mysteries, everything. I was like 11 years old when it ended, now I'm 17 and still this is probably my most favourite show of all time. Now I'm here and watching one of it's successors, Amphibia and It's really good.
Revisiting this channel because I'm about to binge watch the entire show again, and I remember when I would always look forward to your next theory video taking apart the secrets the show had to offer.
Glad to see that this show is receiving a lot of love and still being looked back at fondly for being amazing :D
This hits me in the feels, I wish I can go back to when I first watched this show as a 9 year old and finished this as a 13 yr old in middle school. But I’m glad that this series was a huge part of my child hood and early adolescence, I’ll always hold it dear to my heart and appreciate the memories I have of it! 😊 thank you Gravity Falls and the team behind it for the fun adventures and journey of it all!

I never watched this show but it kinda makes me sad that it ended.
Look at it this way. It's better it ended strong before it became another Simpsons or SpongeBob and unnecessarily drags itself out.

I can't believe it has been this long since the finale and when the show ended. Gravity Falls is amazing and I don't think it will be forgotten any time soon. It paved the ground work for what came next in some peoples opinions and for the people who watched it and enjoyed I think it will always have a special place in they're hearts. It sure still has a special place in my heart to this very day or I guess night because of the time of day where I am.
I mean I'm glad this show happened and I will always cherish it even as an adult. Still, I really hope one day Alex Hirsh describes to do a sequel series, maybe with an older Dipper and Mabel or something along those lines.
I'd be fine if it were a game or comic, but as was said a whole new season just wouldn't feel needed

nostalgic when thinking about vailskibum gravity falls theory days i wish they continued the show to uncover more hidden mysteries but this ride was nonetheless truly one of the most entertaining and intriguing times in my childhood thanks to vailskibum94 :^)
I started watching Gravity Falls around 2015, so I had just gotten into the craze of the story. Then when I saw Weirdmageddon in 2016, that was one epic ending for the show. I’ll always remember after that, people were then hunting for the Bill Cipher statue that appears at the end of the final part of that event. It was great seeing the pictures of people at the statue, including when you got into that. It was en epic thing, and a bonus treat for the fans. I’m so glad that Owl House and Amphibia are a thing because those shows have such great stories, Gravity Falls is all to thank for that. Thank you Gravity Falls, keep being weird and awesome as you always will be. And here’s to the future and what more future shows will be inspired by it

This show is amazing, I remember watching the first episode once it came out and then waiting for season two. Let's just say Gravity Falls is one of the best animated shows of all time
I remember watching the first season when I came back to the US from duty in Kuwait. It was a great era for cartoons. Adventure Time, Regular Show and Gumball were all in their prime too. It felt good to be back home and watching these great shows with my daughter
Just rewatched it all the way through a couple days ago and it was amazing
wow 6 years. i remember like it was yesterday watching the episode and then going to ur channel to see the analysis.
I still remember the good old days of watching the show every Thursday night after school when it aired and discussing theories and predictions with my friends before a new episode at school. And I remember first finding this channel between Season 1 and 2 when it was still using the red and white text boxes and we still seriously considered that Mabel could have a secret twin called Lebam who would be the Llama on the wheel! Then of course the hype of Season 2 as it rolled out and seeing all your videos here as we got closer and closer to finding out the truth. It was an experience that no one has successfully managed to replicate. Man I love this show.
I remember back when GF ran, this channel was one of the first on TH-cam I ever found. I have many memories of watching your theory videos on GF as I ate breakfast before I went to school in the morning. I was invested in this show like no other show at the time (except for Phineas and ferb).

I never watch any of your current videos, but I enjoyed your theories when you made them. Thanks for your theory videos and also for posting videos like this. If you ever want to make another theory video, I wouldn't be opposed to that.

I was 10 when the show ended. Now I’m almost 16. And it’s still my favorite show to this day. This show had such a huge impact on my life and got me into you. Thx you gravity falls for such an incredible journey

This October marks the 10th anniversary of the first episode! Its sad remembering back but it was a fun journey nonetheless.

I watched Gravity Falls when it came out but I was too young to understand all of it but I recently rewatched it and heck yes it is a legendary show.
I got into this a couple years after it ended and it's still one of the most perfect shows ever made!
funny thing is that you showed the Simpsons for a couple of seconds and the 1st thing that came in my mind is Bill Cipher saying "BUY CRYPTO SUCKERS"

I've been a HUGE fan of Gravity Falls since the season 2 premiere & it TOO changed my life, well particularly my perspective of cartoons lol. But after a year of seeing the finale on screen (which was awesome & emotional) I felt very depressed that my favorite cartoon of all time is officially gone. But no matter what, this show will always hold a special place in ALL of our hearts!♥️☺️

I feel so old. I remember watching this back in 2015 as a kid. Sitting on the couch with my younger siblings while eagerly waiting for the next episode..time flies by.

6 years...I remember when the show was still airing its first season and my sister and I would come to this channel because the theories you made for this show were so detailed and made the mystery if it all 100x better. Even when you made the theory on Stan having a twin brother...watching it at first was intriguing (and I thought it was a stretch), but then actually seeing the confirmation when it aired live blew my mind!!!
Much love to the creators and crew of the show, but I feel like you should be recognized as well for really being the voice of fans and theories during the shows run. This channel is the reason I stuck with Gravity Falls, because at the time, you were doing something that no one else really was. Thank you for being you and never giving up on this channel, even after the show ended.
(P.S. - and even if some of the theories weren't yours, you used the platform to inform other fans and theorize on things they may not have thought of before)

I started become a fan of Gravity Falls in 2020. I heard of the show of show plenty of times before and I wanted to give it a watch. It's really an awesome show. I even have two of the show's books, Journal 3 and Lost Legends. I may be a fan of Gravity Falls, but there's still a lot to learn from it.
Gravity Falls is one of my favourite Disney animated TV series, my favourite character is Dipper Pines and I do like Kristen Schaal who was the voice of Mabel Pines in Gravity Falls and of course Louise Belcher in Bob's Burgers

Wow this video just cured depression 😭😭 no because I feel so much better now, thinking about what a lovely time that was. Sitting in my bedroom, what was then my grandma’s, bawling my eyes out saying goodbye to this whole world. But it will always hold a special place in my heart. A VERY special place. There was nothing quite like it and it gave me amazing memories. Thanks Alex Hirsch and everyone who worked on it. This video reminded me it was today that it ended, 6 years ago. Wow. I didn’t really watch gravity falls when I was growing up but the first time I ever saw the show was the weirdmagedon special when I was bored at a wedding at my aunts house and she said I could watch tv.
I remember back in like 2nd grade I was 8 and watched the series finale.
