Great job Shaun!
Great video! Can you please share your PC specs and how much it took you to render that scene in the intro? was it in Cinematic Settings (uncompressed)? Wondering how much the VDB format and the new features affect the rendering time...?
The VDB was from the free online VDB's you get from janga, let me give you a link as well:
www.jangafx.com/software/embergen/download/free-vdb-animations/
PC specs are an old Ryzen 3600 16gb of ram and a 2080Super (i run a very old system :D)
I forget how long the intro took but i think it was just under 5 mins. When i started turning up the anti aliasing settings for the marketing folks (2x16) it took longer.

@@Rforge Sounds great! And thanks for sharing the link.
Dude, how did you get such tessellation? When i use it with quixel mats its spikey and doesnt look good!
Up close they are quite spikey (nanite) I'm using a combination of normal mapping and subtle values nothing too crazy, really large values lead to that spikey feel
-Shaun
It looks so good. You're getting decent height from them, I have my values at around .02 I get very little height. If I increase the values to a point where the tessellation is noticeable I get spikes.
Are you using 8k ORD?
Bro it's worth to by UE 5.4 or I can work on blender, other free software and also ue5.3 .
It's worth using them all Ue 5.3 and/or 5.4 are completely free to use
