When are you going to be taking work through Fiverr/private? Can't seem to get to you
@@thomasallen436 i stopped fiverr too many idiots expecting free shit
5.4 just released my guy is uploading 5.5 footage
he comes from the future
Its moving too fast homie. I’m still on 5.1…
Master branch of Unreal's source code is 5.5. Master usually one major version newer than release.
I swear this is the most convincing Unreal Engine Video I have ever seen!!!
If you showed this to someone who has no clue about Computer Generated Graphics, they would think it's real
wow man thank you
I thought it was real when I was just casually looking . Took me a minute to see it was Unreal 5! it's NICE.....
It's incredibly fun to watch your journey Jae and to see how you constantly improve. I agree, this footage does look super realistic!!
This is beautiful Jae!!
Love the whole shot, and light peek at the end there is a perfect touch!
Great work 💙
WoW , looks damn real , Dude 👍
its cos u exported the mocap for me man, it has that stylemarshall german magic
@@Jsfilmz 😂
The way that light hits yer when u come out from shadows. Sweet ❤
idk man daylight with metahuman is so hard im not happy with this yet lol
Looks, amazing, only thing (from my personal point of view)is when grading, adding some ambience dust and particles will make it look more real!
Dude I spent a lot of time working in unreal and with Metahumans. Have to say this is really good, well done, looking very good, very realistic. Nice one ❤
This is extraordinarily well done. Beautiful work!
You keep knocking it out of the park. Keep up the awesome work brother.
Looks fantastic J - great job!
really like what you do! what mocap suit do you have? and any ways to capture animations for cinematics without a mocap suit?
Looks amazing, your helmet looks super useful
You are getting so good! Impressive!
That looks gorgeous! Do you have a tutorial about the MH custom textures or any course about it? Your MH is by far the most stunning I've seen on TH-cam. Great job!
Looks absolutely amazing!
almost crossed the uncanny valley at the very beginning until we get snapped back but we're getting there. good job.
these new images of the Lion King are really blowing my mind.
100K Man ! Congrats !
thx dude
Bro, I really admire you work.
You are a one man movie studio.
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Great work man. I'm curious, is there a way to make the helmet have an offset that can be animated for secondary action? I know how to do this in Maya but I haven't seen a way to make it happen in UE. By this I mean quick movements the helmet may slide around a little and adds that extra level of realism.
WOOOOW man, that looks soooo good!!
Outstanding work!
Incredible
No way bro pulled a Blue Dot using Lumen. That's genuinely incredible, and gives me hope that indie animation using photo realistic characters may actually be feasible! Good stuff!
ive been in the vfx industry for two decades and at first glance i thought this was real...either you are trolling us or this tech is getting scary good
Hahaha! Looks so great J! I thought it WAS you for a split second. Can't wait to see the full video. :)
i mean technically it is me right 😂😂😂
the way it captures the essence in the face is crazy.
Incredible!
Don’t have a pc that runs unreal engine but I try to say up to day with theses engines ,so this is amazing to see I really enjoyed scrolling through your profile. Thank you I subscribed. Hoping to have the time to sit down and look more into the nvidia Omi and unreal videos and the content on your TH-cam ; I have been looking more into this the last 7 months. Thank you for sharing❤🎉
Exceptional :) !!
Can u make video on it? How ur 3d model is soo realistic and how u made it?.
Very high quality and cool! I too thought it was a video and not a rendering
Congrats on 100,000 subscribers Jae! I'm celebrating by buying 2 of your helmets.
no way! thanks man, gonna take couple of weeks to ship out if thats cool
@@Jsfilmz That's just fine. Still need to acquire 2 iPhone (12?) minis and a thread ripper.
@@stevesween3744 ooh threadripper wow nice
really good looking, at the beginning for a few seconds where you walk next to the wall, towards the camera, it looks almost like a real video, but then, when you start to turn left, it falls apart, everything feels "disconnected". But the most jarring flaw is in the eyes - the lack of movement makes it robotic, unrealistic and disconnected from the whole face; even though it's mocaped it doesn't fit the situation the character is portraying in virtual world. That's the biggest flaw of mocap, when it's not truly connected with the character on which the motion is applied to.
this is probably due to you dont know what hes lookin at yet 😂. I gave your brain one part of the image it needs the other one to connect its weird how it works 😂
@@Jsfilmz Probably, definitely one of the reasons, but I would say it still looks like the character is looking "into the void" (like it happens in most videogames, it breaks the illusion of character being in place and interacting with environment) no real "point of attachment" for eyes. May i ask what were you looking at (in real life) during the lean movement, when you filmed your face? How far was it? Darn, I would love to see a video of you in real life while performing for this scene, not just a face mocap. But thx anyway for sharing this Metahuman Skit Sneak Peek. It's really cool.
it was my hat on the table@@Q36BN
Looks amazing
Is it posible for you to share your meta human pipeline. I use character creator and UE5 meta human animator but they don't come out as accurate as your metahuman.
so fire bro u did a great job.
Killing it!!
Professional job congratulations 👏
If this was in a movie, sound, music and camera shakes and all, I doubt people would even realise it is CGI.
yea i want camera shake so bad man
@@Jsfilmz I know nothing about UE filmmaking, but is it possible to re-shoot scenes with new camera work?
@@ue5cad-engineeringvisions915 Pretty much everything is non-destructive. As long as they have the same animations, sequences, etc., you can re-shoot it and make any edits you want.
@@ue5cad-engineeringvisions915 YES, you can do that infinite times.
It is basically a virtual you create, so you can modify and reshoot as you wish.
@@Jsfilmzis it not currently an option to add camera shake?
Insane!
Can you use the Xsens with just free software (MVN Record) to export raw data to UE5 or Iclone - or do you have to use the MVN Animate software to be able to use the MoCap - Noticing that you had someone else export it for you.
i used free version here then had someone export since i dont have license
amazing bro
This is so inspiring!
or did you have to manually bind head and body animation/controller so they don't split?
facial capture looks fantastic, also really well modeled. whole scene looks very realistic and authentic, great work!
only thing I am kind of missing is in the overall variety/complexity of the facial animation, or how you captured it. i think it would've been even more believable if you played a bit more with squinting your eyes when the character starts to look into a brighter area, which would be more of a natural behavior when coming out of a more "shadowy" area into a brighter lit one, as well as starting to look more into a distance instead of close range.
but other than that - extremely well done! you've come a far way and improved so much over the last few years working with UE5. Keep on doing the good stuff!
good feedback man lighting changed alot with this piece it was overcast first hahaha but overcast is kinda cheating with metahumans
Thanks for sharing ❤ like to stay up to date, very insightful.
very cool background music though. amazing work with upcoming UR 5.5 you inspire thousands in eastern Africa. big up to you.
This shot look great ! Really love this render
yea man thanks im gettin glitchy eyelashes though im gonna have to wait till its fixed lol
Deep thanks man, you are the reason I know it is possible and along with caffeine the main motivator to keep me grinding.
Incredible dude.
Looking great
Perfect 👏👏👏
i love that every time you're making something in unreal 5.5 that you have show us that 🤣🤣🤣😍😍 .. Jay .. you're awesome ..
dude im just so tired of people not believing
Man, you are the best!
Amazing. Stupid realistic. Didn't realize it was Unreal till I started reading the title more closely. This looks great...
Dope my friend
Is the body HD-processed Xsens data? It looks a bit rougher than usual
i believe so i sent it to a friend to export for me but this is raw, im prolly gonna filter it some, no other mocap can come close to this at the price of the awinda starter though especially used
hi,JSFILMZ
Why is the screen so clear when the anti-aliasing is not high?
Because I set the 4K definition is still very low, so I can only turn up the anti-aliasing to 16 or 32.
wdym
👏🏿 man, you just continue to kill the game! Damn inspirational.
where are you getting version 5.5 beta from?
Wooww awesome!!!
AMAZING!!!!
Impressive. Most impressive.
Dope!
My guy!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What do you use for the scan of your head in meta human without lose many shape in the conversion ?
it was one panasonic s5, would be better if i had a 360 rig though
insane, I must get a new drive asap to install UE
Nice one!
Awesome
Nice work
Another level!!!
This looks absolutely real!! Wow!!
this is crazy good!
Real frekin nice bro.
Ahead of time playing the future you 😊. We are all Optimistic soldiers in these uncertain times wishing you the best in your works .
Looks awesome! But you know, mate. On many realistic and slightly realistic 3D human replications there is the same issue they share - too much redness at eyes' corners. Or they are too obviously visible. I know that these are droplet vessels, but their redness is too clearly expressed.
Very realistic, love it
Looking Good...
Thank you for your service Sir 😄
lol
Dude this looks clean. Nice work. Little rigid on the facial anim, but still looks good. Maybe if the actor did a bit more 'performance' here and there even when not 'talking', it might looks more natural. Like a lip purse, or sniff, or squint.
yea the issue is the person on the video is not an actor
Wow. This would almost pass for Hollywood movie tech! 😱🔥🤩🥳
Wow that’s impressive! Is that a nanite skeletal mesh?
nah
What resources helped you the most creating your character of you? This is some of the best examples of someone making a metahuman look exactly like themselves in all aspects on an indie level. I would love a breakdown of how you got this metahuman to where it's at now. Love the content!
Wow very impressive
Pretty cool
Bravo!
I LOVE this!!!
Closely looking over da shoulder of a Master Sensei.... And plotting !
Dude, if it was not for the frozen cheeks and the perfectly linear blinking, I would be fooled! You should consider adding some kind of low frequency additional motion on the cheeks and the eyelids.
Incredible! What's your process to create a such realistic metahuman? 360 scan? and for the textures?
one panasonic s5, spinning chair from amazon the rest is metahuman carbon
@@Jsfilmz Thanks for all the precious info! damn I just find out about your MH carbon service, do you still offer it? Would love to have more info
Nice job.
Badass man
looks amazing , a huge step up in realism . you mention you want camera shake... ive got the hand held/shoulder rig camera pack. it has walking ,tight, loose, pan up etc. i think the walking one would work well for this shot.. happy to send you the files to try them out.
i have a couple of em but they are too repetative real handheld movements are never the same
@@Jsfilmz they have the transforms key framed , so very easy to tweak and add random. they are also around 15 secs long and you can layer them up, blend, fade etc so endless variation.. ..... another idea, can you put your iphone on a steadycam and do the shot for real using vcam. or just use handheld vcam for real jitter. or combine of all 3 ideas,, maybe iam not understanding ?
this looks insane
you mean unreal?
Fantastic work, man. I purchased your helmet last year, and am now zeroing in on the Awinda Starter Kit for body capture. Based on your experience with it, would you recommend anything different? I don't see anything else out there for the price that delivers better quality data. Any thumbs up, down, warnings or recommendations are greatly appreciated! Cheers -
buy once cry once bothing touchin xsens quality to price its not a toy
@@Jsfilmz JS, I think you were wearing your Manus gloves while typing that! I believe it translates to - "nothing touches xSens quality for the price," yes?
And no, I know it's definitely not a toy. I did some capture with the Link back on the first Avengers film at The Third Floor many years ago, and can vouch for the quality, but, I wasn't responsible for the tech side at the time. I'm just hoping - based your amazing results - that it will be a manageable learning curve!
@@atlanteumhahah manus gloves u think im rich?
Great and inspiring as always, Jae! Just bought my first Iphone because of you, metahuman journey begins!
letss gooo what version
Dude, you meta-humanized yourself.. sweet.
