This BMW is very aggressive and tastefully modified, but once all those screens in the interior goes out or just a pitch black screen the vehicle will be useless at that point because the driver will not be able to view any information. Which is why I always prefer authentic real gauges instead. 😂

It’s not hard. If you don’t like the sound, you probably haven’t heard much, have some bias, or just don’t like it. Equal or unequal length exhaust can make an engine sound quite different, among all the other factors and variables.
@@PapiAndrey oh I know, especially the F80 M3/M4, they come factory with an unequal length header and sound like shit. But if you throw an equal length one on they sound pretty good, closer to a B58.

Cutting of the muffler on new BMWs is a waste of money and literally only gives you a louder cold start. The car bypasses the muffler in sport mode with those flaps or you can remove the module entirely to keep them open indefinitely
The exhaust flaps do not "bypass" the muffler, at least not on the F and G generation BMWs. it just opens to allow exhaust through a shorter path in the muffler. Removing it gives alot more sound.
I started off by adding a VRSF Catless DP. Wanted it more aggressive so I deleted the suitcase muffler in favor of a custom Y pipe. Drove that around for a while but wasn’t happy with the tone/sound and drone. Final version…VRSF catless DP, factory muffler re-installed and deleted the secondary cat/resonator.
@dfalcon217 best exhaust system for the money that I did on all 5 of 6 bmws I've owned; Catless dp, vibrant resonator, and valvtronic mufflers for neighbors. Or vrsf axel back / muffler delete if you don't like your neighbors
Easily the best i4 on the market atm, great efficiency, power, reliability and tuneability, doesnt sound too bad either
There is no best four cylinder currently available lol, all of them have different pros and cons
@@gorageelsewhere1946 i dont know a single one that can take 500hp with just a turbo and a downpipe without sounding as bad as the amg one.

its huge for a 3, looks like a 5 series, i like it 😎
BMWs are best to throw a downpipe on and maybe a resonator delete but should keep the stock muffler and a tune and your set
Agree, many have a valve and the mufflers get rid of the drone very well
I got a BMW with a 3L turbo. It's res delete, M Performance muffler and tuned from factory sounds great
that red is so clean
I swear the blue color is as well
Its so weird how the cars you deal with always have to have the exhaust flap actuator plugged in... Mine isnt plugged in and theres no fault codes.

Not tastefully modified. Have you seen the stupid stick-on paddle shifter extensions?
The screens will be fine and the drivetrain will be fine.
No that engine will last longer than most of the technology that engine is really reliable

It's alright. Hard to make any 4-6 cylinder sound good. The pitch is always to high for me. That burnout though was cute, calmest burnout I've seen.
It's not hard you just have to do it right. can't just hack off a muffler or do a straight pipe. keep a muffler and resonator
A lot of Four and six cylinder cars sound good lmao, most bmw 6 cylinders sound good, a couple Audi V6's do, the VR6 included.

Just muffler delete? Stock exhaust?

for some reason on the lci models they removed the factory pops in sport mode i have no clue why tho.
