i think the most frustrating thing about Vũ Linh Ðan’s elimination was the fact that she was ONE SLOT away from making the first elimination. and because 2 of the contestants who DID make it left the show for their own reasons Ðan should’ve been asked to fill in 😭
Since Natchayathorn and Alyssa left the show they shouldve made Vu Linh Dan who was one spot from making it to round 2 and one the girl one spot after vu linh dan
i would like to express that to this day i am super upset and frustrated that SBS didn't show most of the audition performances and didn't even upload full version stages on TH-cam. I will hate them for the rest of my life because of this... I was so excited to watch everything because they had talented participants like Enny who didn't even have reactions or any type of screen time in any episode.
Maybe because the song is repetitive and they chose the one with the strongest performance of that particular song and maybe they didnt perform that well for the producer to show it off.. If the producer doesnt see any material for your faves then dont blame jt on the edit cuz there wasnt anything to show in the first place.
@@jjjjjjj.03445 You’re telling me the LITERAL GYMNAST didn’t get her full performance shown because “there was nothing to see”???? And even with the repetitive performances some you can’t make a fair comparison without their full performance.
@@jeonfly no unfortunately they only uploaded SHORTS of the auditions for all the contestant, it's like 30s of the entire performance and it's sometimes so badly cut you barely get to hear the voice or see more dance
1. They should have started with 40ish trainees. 2.Heavy ageism in the show, In their ideal lineup, Hyeonju would have been replaced by Sumin, but the raw voting power of viewers kinda meant this was a losing battle. In the end there's only really a 1-2 year age gap between hyeonju and contestants like Yona or Kwon Chaewon. I still believe those 2 contestants were eliminated because they stood a chance early on to make the cut on raw votes alone.
Narumi, Sumin, and Bae Sisters who I think only lost because of the raw votes... for me, Kotoko and Gehlee were the most undeserving of the 8 members to debut, lucky they were saved by the raw votes.
honestly the fact that they had 82 contestants was already a problem. they shouldve started with a manageable number like 30-40 contestants and there should be a couple of episodes where each contestant does like 2-3 performances before voting even opens up in the first place so viewers actually have something to go off of.
What made Vu Linh Dan's elimination so terrible was that she was the best in her group and still didnt get immunity. And the reason she went home was because exactly 12 people ranked 42+ got immunity kicking her out of the top 41... like wtf 😭
This is a thousand times better than the original and the suspense that was present and the excitement I felt when the top 16 is being announced one by one slowly is unreal, that is what a good survival show must at least have, the SUSPENCE. I felt sad when Yona and Narumi didn't make it even in this version and I screamed inside in happiness when Riel just squeezed through the top 8. Half of the debut lineup (Riel, Sunwoo, Sumin and Vu Linh Dan) here are my picks and I will definitely be stanning this GG since this group's maknae (Elisia) is at the least 14 and not 12. Edit: The Maknae is not Linh Dan, it was Elisia Another Edit: Hyeonju is also one of my picks
41:16 You have fixed one of the things I hate the most about survival shows (with temporary groups): the fact that most of them are terrible at showcasing most of the contestants to the public eye. It doesn't matter if you make it to the group or not, but gaining public recognition or at least being a bit known to the public is. A lot of them are going to be idols and having a bit of public recognition beforehand can help them to have a more stable career in the long run.
I feel like you are one of the only channels who talk about the bad things abkut Universe Ticket! Everyone always talks about the same people being soooo talented and deserving to debut, not that they aren't, but the show chose those people, ESPECIALLY Bang Yunha, Nana, and Lim Seowon. There was so much bias towards them that the show might as well have given up on trying to appear "fair".
The way that we didn’t even see their opponents battles during battle week is borderline disrespectful. Scratch that, it’s completely disrespectful. While I can see why they won, at least give screen time to their opponents……. I could go on such a lengthy rant on how terribly this show was handled.
@@neshy4647I would not say deserved at all. She’s an amazing vocalist. Not an amazing performer. Which is definitely age appropriate, it just means she still has a lot to learn and due to her age, she truly has that opportunity. She should take it! It should make anyone and everyone uncomfortable that such a big company had an 11-12 yo as a focal point for their show. Seriously. Anyone.
@@neshy4647She has a very powerful voice for her age, Annnd that’s about it. Which no shade, she’s a child and can work on the skills she lacks. She struggles with putting emotion into her voice and can come across as unnatural/unfitting onstage with her expressions. She’s talented but I wouldn’t call her debut ready.
@@adriennemaerealingo8799It’s rich to say that UNIS has to put up with Seowon when Yoona, Yunha, and Elisia are only like a year and a half older than her, it would be uncomfortable but only for Hyeonju and possibly Nana, Elisia, and Kotoko, the maknae line are all still middle schoolers/early high school so let’s not act like they’re adults. There is a much larger maturity gap between Seowon and Hyeonju than Seowon and the other three maknaes.
I watched this with an open mind. I must say I love your analysis and your effort on putting this together. I actually enjoyed it. Surprisingly I agree in most part of your opinion. I thank you for giving Aya Natsumi some love also to Vu Linh Dan and Riel. I still cry about Sumin and Narumi. The group is ready to debut I will be giving full support on the line up. But I appreciate this reimagined, thank you for sharing. 👍🏽
IMO I think survival shows should only have 30-20 contestants. It’s kinda hard to explain but I feel like it would be harder for the viewers to recognize each contestants talent. It’ll also be much more easier to show each contestants talent and let them show off their talents. In Universe Ticket there was 82 contestants and we don’t know ALL of them and what their talents were so it was harder to get noticed. For an example, in runext there were like 22 contestants I think and it was easier for people to recognize them and their talents because each one of them were able to show viewers their strengths through the episodes. Near the end of the show a lot of people had the same lineup which was Jeemin, Jiwoo, chanelle, Minju, Youngseo, and Yunah and I predict the same thing is gonna happen in ILAND since their is like 24 contestants I think
I love all of your videos related to Universe Ticket & I love hearing your thoughts 🎉 And please take care of your health as well, thank you for posting this & your hardwork is appreciated ❤
I liked what the final line up will look like. Definitely vu lihn dan and riel deserves the spot and also I agree with how they should have give the contestants proper screen time for a fair fight.
53:41 actually UNIS does have a former survival show contestant! Jin Hyeonju was in The Unit, she was going by the name Lucky and was promoting in the group Good Day!
You gotta be heavily underestimating the zealousness and craziness of Indonesian fans for you to think Vanesya would not be Top 1 to debut if the producers did not intervene with her elimination. The girl managed to consistently be in the Top 10 while having that God-awful audition video, mid visuals for the contestant profiles, atrocious 1-on-1 perfromance, and the infamous butchering of Tell Me rap. In no possible universes will Vanesya dont make it to debut lineup if there was no intervention from the producers. Also, there's no way the producers will let 2 non-Koreans be the Top 1 and Top 2 to debut. It will cause massive controversy within the Korean GP, alienating their chances of grasping a decent Korean audience. This is mainly the reason why they forced the Unicorn Ticketing in the final round to slip in a Korean and a Japanese to fill in the Top 3 spots forcing Gehlee (which should have rightfully taken the Top 2 spot) in the Top 4 slot. Lastly, I think the Revenge Battle will be extremely boring if you assign the same songs for each battle. It will be a massive snoozefest to watch the 2nd team to perform the exact same song and choreography. Instead, it should be done concept vs concept with consideration to the songs' composition (like for example both songs in the Pure concepts should be composed in the key of F major) to make it consistent with the contestants' vocal talents or Charismatic concept songs both be in the pop rap genre to be consistent with the contestants' dance performanec and facial expressions.)
@@confusedgrapes349 She's the typical "Pure Southeast Asian cutie" that might be slightly popular in school and that's it. Google "Ylona Garcia" she just looks a lot like her. Their beauty isnt exactly rare among Southeast asian women.
@@confusedgrapes349they are not saying that vanesya's ugly. They're saying she doesn't stand out visually is all, which is fair. My top 2 picks, yukino and oh yoona, wouldn't stand out visually either and im fine with that.
@@OxygenC2 That’s the thing though, she does stand out. In both her performances she was paired with the more pale skinned contestants, so your eyes would either be drawn to her, or the tallest person. I will say, she didn’t really stand out in As I Told You but that was mainly due to the wrong foundation used on her. She looked so pale you would think she was sick.
@@confusedgrapes349 in Korean standards she isn't pretty. Also, her singing wasn't good, she had a heavy accent. Don't delude yourself. I myself am not deluding myself when it comes to my faves in the show. I would totally be ok if they didn't debut.
I show my full support to this video, i really stood up and watched this whole thing to the end. thank you for making it. you really showed how u fully supported each girl and didnt just gave up on them like the show did. Im really glad u gave each girl their own chance to show their full potential, and even change the show itself, including the final lineup, i love this final lineup, including that u still think that gehlee and elisia still stays. I feel so bad the vu linh dan didnt make it even though she had a lot of supporters, a lot of talent, and even catched my eye before i even knew who she was. her 1;1 perfomance was one of the best ones (vocal wise) in my opinion, she wouldve made that final lineup. we all know she would. thank you for making this video
While I think Universe Ticket wasn't a great show and ur version is probably fairer, I think the original lineup is better. Firstly, there aren't any Japanese contestants in ur lineup. It is quite possible that UNIS might release some Japanese stuff, or at least have Nana and Kotoko to appeal to Japanese people more. Next, there are a LOT of SEA contestants in ur lineup. No offense at all to SEA ppl but it's practically impossible that the show would allow 4 of of 8 (5 if Hyeonju counts) to be in the lineup with no Japanese contestants unfortunately... Yunha was always going to make it, seeing F&F. I guess ur version is one without F&F influence but in reality, this would've been impossible. (Look back on her performances. If I'm not mistaken, Yunha ended EVERY performance she was in and was centre in the ending pose in EVERY performance EXCEPT Into the New World, and sang first and had the first chorus etc so so many times. They clearly favoured her but she's talented so not many ppl will bash her, though not many ppl bias her either.) Seowon and Yoona were probably good for the Koreans. Seowon is in fact the only contestant I knew before watching the show. (Says a lot since I'm not Korean, I watched her IVE covers.) And I believe Yoona was in Play with Me Club. So, they have a lot of Korean fans I guess. It may just seem overshadowed by the Filipino fans. Nana and Kotoko mainly have a lot of star quality to them, and are definitely Visuals. I think Kotoko is really okay. It is not very useful to have many talentsd contestants, but many appealing contestants in survival show lineups, and Kotoko, her improvement, her likeability among everyone, her transformation in UNIS Concept Photos... Nana has experience and also appeals to Japanese ppl too, and many International fans love her and Kotoko now. For Gehlee and Elisia, they are very liked by both Filipinos and International fans. Koreans too, actually, so there is no doubt about their potential and debut. Hyeonju is a bit tricky, especially with the age gap. Filipino voting is definitely a factor. I feel as if the show wouldn't have minded replacing her with Sumin, but it is unfortunate that Sumin didn't have enough votes in the Finale. Of course, they would save Yunha over Sumin, so Hyeonju made it instead. She definitely brings the experience and leadership, which perhaps Sumin could do as well since they showed her more in the later episodes and highlighted her talent. This entire show is just something I wish I could fast forward a few years without changing much about the final lineup, because all my picks made it and I will support the group a lot, though the ages make me a bit hesitant. This is quite unfortunate, but it is what it is. For the group name UNIS, it is actually quite a good name in my opinion. Of course it takes me a while to digest the meaning and be used to it, like ILLIT or LE SSERAFIM, but U&I Story is very clever, especially with the N to & transformation. It just feels like Kep1er where the fandom name will probably be more complicated and longer than the group name since UNIS is a short and simple name haha. Plus i guess UNIS (the name's) meaning would work well as a fandom name too, so I guess we need to wait and see. Maybe it is because I am young (2010) so I can support UNIS more easily than others. I am quite content with UNIS, but ur videos make me think of what could have been. (Perhaps a Global Group promoting in Korea would be a good call for ur lineup and ideas?? We could even have Vanesya, Enny etc etc in the Group and have Elisia Gehlee and Hyeonju be in UNIS, I would've liked that in an alternative Universe (Ticket) haha. Global Group with SEA and other Asians would be cool.) But like I said, I am pretty happy with UNIS and I guess I'll just be left to wonder what could've happened had things been different. UNIS's debut is soon! If it's not bothersome, it would be great to see ur opinions on it!! (Not forcing, just a suggestion.) I'm very excited for UNIS debut!!!! (My 3 predebut groups UNIS ILLIT BABYMONSTER all have Debut/ Ahyeon comeback + first mini album soon so I am so excited omg) Sorry this is so long and thank u to anyone who has so much time to read this!! To the creator of this video, I want to thank u for all ur Universe Ticket videos and LOONA videos as well! U make me realize the potential and possiblities of them and I'm also getting into LOONA thanks to u!! I appreciate ur efforts very much and hope u take some rest after this video!!!! Thank u again for ur effort!!
I actually like the explanation that you made here so that others may be enlightened. We should be much more realistic than being more logical even if its for the sake of fairness because these kind of competition is not for trophies and medals but a business.
I remember when team garden performed their come with me dance nana got ALOT wrong and still managed to be picked to perform, while haram did it with full energy with NO mistakes but didnt get picked
i'm still mad that they did yona dirty! like girlie had the chance to go up higher because she received good feedback from her tell me performance but because the PDs are a bunch of ageist craps they stopped giving her screentime and cut her lines.
I was really confused at how such a new company could score a survival show on sbs (it's not mnet, but still pretty good) and have this much influence. It turns out their parent company is a major clothing brand in south korea of the same name, F&F apparel. They must have a lot of resources.
I think a HUGE showing of semi rigging in the show was letting elisia perform in the finals when she was already a confirmed member. bc shes a producer fav she got majority of the lines and stripped away chances for other contestants to shine. this is just more proof that f&f already knew who they wanted to debut and didnt care about anyone else.
I agree everything that you put into the video but I do want to comment on the High/Mid/Low personally I agree with the list for High but I’d keep Eunchae there based on “My Ticket To You” evaluation shes one of the top 10 imo who performed best in terms of stability, dancing, vocal control, pitch, and facial expressions. I get that she’s young but honestly I’d still give her her props for outperforming most of the older girls. Other than that I really like your revision of the show!
I’ve done my top 8 (with requirements) 1. The lineup must be at least 50% Korean 2. No members younger than 16 That being said, let’s get on with it 1. Gehlee Dangca With Elisia out of the way (due to age) Gehlee easily takes top spot, considering they moved the finish line in order to avoid her getting second place before the final. She is a good visual and otherwise just solid throughout. 2. Vu Linh Dan She can siiing. Still find it incredibly sad she immediately got out but she’s great. She’s also the maknae, being 6 days younger than Gehlee 3. Bae Haram Confused why she didn’t make it, great dancing and stage presence, our first member over 18 on this list 4. Kim Soobin Our second Korean (With Haram), and more just good at everything, she also turns 18 about 2 weeks from when I posted this comment 5. Kim Sumin Another great member, good at dancing, and our second member at 18 years of age 6. Yona I didnt realise she was 25!! Shes the oldest contestant in Universe Ticket, and generally good at everything. She is Chinese however, so we need more Koreans 7. Jin Hyeonju There’s a Korean! She’s great at everything, but specifically vocals and Stage Presence, and 23 to boot, reaching our 18 year old requirement 8. Oh Daeun We could’ve used Nana, but she isn’t Korean, so we can’t really squeeze her in. Oh Daeun is the next best thing, and she’s 22! The average age of the members is 19 years and 4 months, with the age gap being 9 years, still smaller than the one we currently have in Unis. Are we missing all but 2 members of Unis? Yes, but at least they have childhoods!
So far your top 8 pick, I calculated myself that fans will not agree no office because first the impact of your top 8 pick only two of them deserved it while the other 5 members I don't feel any vibe for fans to agree to be in top 8 I think your more focus in age, points, fanbase, however you forget "maybe" the talent, impact, etch. so far 8 of my pick that I think they deserved to debut 6 are successfully selected🤩🤩
not even that, most of the girls in mid level didn’t deserve to be in mid level. when i watched girls on top, it looked so much like a performance that would be focused if they were in high level so imagine my shock when i realized they were in mid level … girls like daeun, soovin, yuri, and sieun shouldn’t have been placed in high level and should’ve been replaced by girls like gyoryeon, haram, sunwoo, sumin, etc. when i watch the level evaluation, it just felt as if some girls were being judged solely on one specific talent (for example : a girl will be placed in high/mid level solely bc she was a good dancer despite her lacking vocals which is wrong cause i think high level should represent girls who can sing and dance well simultaneously)
@@prankdanny Agreed! The girls on top performance was too good to be mid tier. Imo Daeun belonged to high tier, but she kinda disappointed on the whateva stage. I also believe that Kotoko should've been placed in low tier because she was just not as polished as the other girls on mid. How was your top 8 like?
I think they should've done something for the eliminated contestants like "Redemption Battle" where they (the eliminated contestants) would form a specific number of team and they'd (obviously) battle so they (the winning team ) could go back into the competition. With this, they could've at least had the chance to (re)showcased their potential:((
Thank you for making me live in an utopia where the final lineup is older and Hyeonju and Sunwoo got to debut together 😭 in all seriousness it was a super well thought video ! loved it !
17:59 I’d just like to point out that zb1 was a re-debut for Jiwoong too! This is the 3rd time he’s been in a debut line-up, but the 2nd time he’s actually debuted
The fact that this announcement of the final lineup is more exciting than the original show says something about how anti-climatic the final episode was 😆 But even in this imagined scenario my picks still didn't debut lol 🥹 (Yukino, Jayla, Haram, Narumi)
I Watched the ENTIRE Video on the day that this Masterpiece was posted. Dude, Your Re-Imagining Content is Realistic and Creative!!! This version of Universe Ticket is much better than the original!! If Universe Ticket was like this I would watch it EVERY. DAY. REALLY LOVE IT!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Ideal imo 1. Elisia - Old enough (sorta) to reasonably be in the lineup, plus she is just generally good at facial expressions, vocals, dancing etc. 2. Gehlee - The improvement was certainly an arc, but she is good enough at dancing, singing, and incredibly photogenic. 3. Vu Linh Dan - Whether you think she deserves it or not, she certainly should have placed higher, it feels unfair to short her of that. Especially considering I’m excluding Seowon, mostly just due to her age, Vu Linh Dan is literally just an incredibly good vocal performer. Plus she won “The voice Vietnam” 4. Nana - The experience and the popularity, plus above average skills in literally everything place her solidly in 4th 5. Bang Yunha - People keep excluding her, but while her vocals might not be the most impressive, her skills in dance and stage presence make up for it 6. Kim Sumin She is one of the least promoted people on the show, and she still got so incredibly close. She suffered due to screen time and problems with the survival show, not due to a lack of skill or effort. 7. Hwang Sieun Does she bring anything new? Not really. But she is above average in everything with the exception being maybe stage presence? Generally I don’t think it ruins the lineup to include her, especially as she placed 9th 8. Finally, Oh Yoona She wasn’t featured too often in the show, but she did incredibly well on Catallena and Beautiful. Honrable Mentions: Kotoko: I think she’s great and all, one of my personal favourites, and I think she could debut at her current skill level, however, when Universe Ticket ended there was still a bit of a skill gap. Her rap in Superwoman was pretty solid though. Gabi: Just not emotionally mature enough. That is why the producers dropped her as their favourite to debut to somebody who might debut if all else fails. Rather have Seowon than Gabi. Seowon: Age is just too young Lee Hyeonju: Fixes the age gap, plus she is already in Cignature, so Universe Ticket was kinda unnecessary ngl Vanesya: Hit me one time baby, datsum baby (tell me, tell me) okmangopangojamanddass a baby (tell me, tell me) In all seriousness, she’s kinda like Kotoko, great person, lacks skills
the ideal alternate universe where Vu Lihn Dan actually debuted or at least lasted. *sigh your ideal concept of the PRISM system was actually how I initially understood the Low - Average - High ranking. I thought the ones getting promoted will go to a higher level. but. oh well..
I REALLY enjoyed the reimagining, it was way better than whatever UT was going for ALSO i want to mention when those producers were choosing members, it seems like they were kind of pushed to choose between some... (ex. main vocal either Elisia or Seowon) by the BTS team
My take.. Early on they wanted a young group with 2 jp and 1 token SEA but the audience messed it up by voting for Elisia-Gehlee (they only needed 1), Yoona and Hyeonju (they wanted sumin and sieun). Halfway through they compromised and just focused on their permanent 2 kr and 2 jp members but made sure vanesya and riel (ageism) were eliminated. Aya natsumi was collateral damage and having 3.5 PH so far into the show was already too much 😂 anyway this blatant pushing actually made their recipients less likable which is a shame bc as they are, they're really talented
I honestly hope that they see this and adapt this format for their next show. Or at least more or less. Hopefully at least have a better age requirement. And smaller group of contestants. Maybe even around 52.
The most unexpected performance on that entire show was Nan, imagine whole team went into low tiers but was on par or even better than high tiered team
What i enjoy doing when watching any some sort of reality shows is catching on what is rigged or not. I've been disappointed with a lot of shows already so I've always sort of expect it won't be a fair show. But my theory is, I think they only rigged four guaranteed to get in (Elisia, Nana, Kotoko, Yunha) and 16 girls they wouldn't mind getting in. I really like your version though, great song choices, and i love how you included the potential dramas too.
others fact i found out about the show that seemed interesting : 1. it was revealed that the first round of voting (the voting that finalized the first ranks in the 1st episode), riel who was the 1st place ranker had only around 1k votes. the average votes for all the trainees was around 300-800 votes. that’s how unpopular the show was at first 2. vanesya mentioned in a interview that many girls from indonesia auditioned for universe ticket but she was the only one was accepted by the company (this later led to many fans believing the show had used vanesya as a prop for views since the beginning. why would they accept a girl who had no experience in dance, singing or rapping and doesn’t even speak korean or english in a beginner’s level ?) 3. sunwoo was the only trainee who stayed in the top 10 for the entire show but failed to debut by two ranks (the fact sbs even basically tried to hide sunwoo when the show was reaching to the finale to make her votes drop is crazy .. it was dumb to not capitalize her popularity and push her to debut since she was popular in the main markets like korea, japan and the us) 4. the pds basically used jang sua & minari as a punching bag / strategy to eliminate all the popular contestants in “as i told you” team, just for the next episode to reveal that both girls were eliminated .. sua gained so much hate from both global and korean fans, being called a “visual dozen” “pd pick” and fans even made rumors that her parents were paying the pds to keep her on the show .. 5. the fact the producer of the show mentioned how evil editing and favoritism ruins survival show yet this show had extreme favoritism towards the younger girls and the evil editing towards certain girls (sujin, gabi, yona, eunhyung) was crazy
If Aya stayed it would have been highly likely that Vanesya’s fanbase would vote for her, especially since she thought so highly of Aya. It really sucks that they hosted a global audition but already knew who they wanted to debut. We lost so many talented trainees due to crummy screen time and shady voting.
Btw, how did Vanesya didn't get eliminated by the judges in your version? That's the only thing that confuses me. And honestly, since she was the only Indonesian (I think), all the votes go to her, and I feel like it would stay consistent.
If you mean in the second mission (Level Station - As I Told You) it's because the judges don't eliminate anyone, it's all votes until the final Concept Battle. If you mean in the Concept Battle then a few reasons, firstly I think the judges would avoid eliminating anyone currently in the top10 to avoid rigging accusations. Secondly she wouldn't have been sabotaged in round 1 by the producers having her switch parts the day of. Thirdly I think the judges would have seen her keep improving in a similar way as Sohye on Produce101 or Hyewon on Produce48 and want to keep seeing her improve (whereas the contestants eliminated in this version would have most likely stagnated by then). And on the last point, I also think her voter base would stay strong but I think she wouldn't keep gaining voters at the same rate as many of the others. She would have made it to the final group if Gyoryeon hadn't received the benefit :) (Gyoryeon and Nana were the only contestants with enough points where the benefit affected whether or not they made the lineup)
@@into_orbit I did appreciate you booting Tell Me straight out of the lineup. I do like me some Wonder Girls, but Yubin's rap part is such a sharp turn (well, much like her debut on this very song) that it's straight up setting up contestants on their first group stage up for failure 😅
Great video!! much prefer this universe ticket to the one that actually aired... Finally justice for Vu Linh Dan!!! She def deserved that top 3 slot! I'm so impressed by the sheer amount of work you put into this! really great stuff!!
Let's not forget the fact that I have zero clue why any stage that Elisia is in never won even though they were very well done. (See red velvet and whateva.)
I noticed that the girl crush concept always win. All of the songs, orig or covers are actually good. Eli seems to prefer the pure/bubly concept so she missed out on all the wins. Didn't matter though, her talent was noted.
@@LoveYamachan now I really think of the alternate reality where Elisia chose Dopamine instead of Camera. The album version that came out would have a totally different line distribution.
Girl you are such a genius 😭😭😭 and i really wish this is how it actually went (Riel your debut... 🥹), everything adds up and i was so intringued watching this. Another thing i have to note is that Lee Jine is also a very good vocalist, she released a solo song and released it after the show ended, and her vocals are really great, and she also showcases her vocals on instgrams and such.
Sorry if this is silly question that should have an obvious answer 😭 but for the 1:1 battles are the non-solo performances performing all together as a team or are they still performing individually just against someone from their designated opponent song/team?
The main problem with the show and UNIS as a group is the Koreans are overshadowed by the foreigners. Seowon was hyped up by the show because she had the most "it" girl vibes but really if you compare the Korean girls here vs other survival shows UT lacks that standout Korean . Instead the show was dominated by Gehlee, Elisia, Kotoko and I don't think the show really expected that it would be dominated by foreigners which didn't exactly help in the ratings domestically.
Yeah. If you look at the bigger picture all UNIS members deserve the slot. In terms of over-all category. Some of them is not extremely talented but they can represent massive fanbase. Swapping out potential Japanese fanbase is wrong move. The only member I will swap out is Yoona. I think Sumin deserve that slot. (prove me wrong. no hate to yoona though) In terms of dance, rap, singing, face-value, charisma, performance. I think Sumin>Yoona. But what done is done and all we need now is to support the group and stop this kinds of videos.
@@MrNotBeastl I'll swap out seowon and kotoko because seowon is too young and kotoko lacks training. Sunwoo needed to debut. The lineup is too young so I'll prob swap out yunha or yoona to increase the average age
We all have our opinions. I respect that. The eight who debuted all earned it. I also have someone who wished got selected. Do I wish to replace someone from the eight? No. But i do wish for them to continue their kpop journey and hopes a company will see their potential and debut them.
Here’s how i think 1:1 battle results would be like in your re-imagined version (sorry if i messed up how the non-solo battles work. Also this will be a VERY long comment so be prepared if you want to open it 😭) Solos - Lim Seowon vs Minari. Winner : Lim Seowon (5:0) Kwon Chaewon vs Jeon Jieun. Same result as on the actual show Yamaguchi Yuriko vs Lee Sunwoo. Winner : Lee Sunwoo (0:5) Riel vs Alyssa. Winner : Alyssa (1:4) Hwang Sieun vs Idota Yui. Winner : Idota Yui (2:3) Choi Sungeun vs Park Yehyeon. Winner : Choi Sungeun (5:0) Lee Soovin vs Lee Huran. Can i ask, like in general, what would your ideal survival show format be? Like do you prefer the smaller scale type of shows with a smaller pool or a relatively larger one?
Generally I prefer larger pools but more like... 40-50? I at least want to be able to see several teams in the first mission where the amount of contestants matches the final group. Queendom Puzzle was pretty close (28 contestants) but I don't really count that since it was all already debuted idols and I was familiar with most of them already. Just as long as a good two-thirds of the contestants can be shown in the first episodes and it doesn't drag on
I wasn’t intrigued with the line up. With eighty contestants, okay i’m okay with the company already keen in certain girls but let them compete fairly once you cut them in half (first elimination). I’d love Elisia, she’s one of my top four girls during audition. Yunha was my second, sad that she was picked by the company and not her talent (fans didn’t noticed her much). Third, i didn’t want Gehlee to made it but she changed my mind every episode later on, glad she got in. Thats it, only three girls were my favorites. Seowon is talented, she’s just very young. What i had in mind were Linh Dan, Sumin, Narumi, Sunwoo and Gabi. They show Gabi being lazy during practice, i just know the company wanted her out. I’d love to see that. Elisia and Gehlee (Filipina), Yunha, Sumin and Sunwoo (Korean), Narumi (Japanese), Linh Dan (Vietnamese) and Gabi (Canadian-Korean). But oh well, happy for Hyeonju, Nana and Yoona, they’re talented just not my favorites.
My only issue is why you eliminated Kim Soobin so early :( However, I liked your show concept. It is way better. My favorite from the show was Gyoryeon
I really thought Bae Yeram would make it into the final in this version and then she got out😭 Even in the real show i thought she was gonna make it to the final then she got out😢
i think the most frustrating thing about Vũ Linh Ðan’s elimination was the fact that she was ONE SLOT away from making the first elimination. and because 2 of the contestants who DID make it left the show for their own reasons Ðan should’ve been asked to fill in 😭
She probably already would have left Korea by then, since the contestants left like mid practice 😭
Unicorns should have voted her in. I still can not believe they thought she was not part of the better half in her team
@@MagicalGurlseungbi and seoyeon were #43 and #44 and they were koreans so they could fill in if vu linh dan couldnt 😭
@@MagicalGurlactually vanesya said on a podcast that the eliminated contestants stayed in korea a few days after the first elimination😭
If the producer doesnt see any material for your faves then dont blame jt on the edit cuz there wasnt anything to show in the first place.
didn't even upload*
@@jjjjjjj.03445 i understand, but they didn't even upload the full versions of all the auditions on TH-cam???
I really wish they chose Sumin instead of nana, if that hapepned Nana would be eliminated and we would have hwang sieun in the lineup aswell
@@ilyrics2775I’d agree if Gehlee’s voice didn’t make her outclass the rest of the ‘07 line, and completely blow Kotoko’s techniques out of orbit
Kotoko got carried by her hair color and Yunha was literally a trainee of F&F?!! Still surprised Sieun didn’t debut instead of Hyeonju
@@FrogglefrI would argue HAIR STYLE as Jang Subin also had blonde hair and was ranked 82nd (last place).
The effort into doing this entire thing is insane and highly appreciated as someone who followed the show.
The issue is that so many of them were eliminated without having the chance to grow or showcase their strong points.
honestly the fact that they had 82 contestants was already a problem. they shouldve started with a manageable number like 30-40 contestants and there should be a couple of episodes where each contestant does like 2-3 performances before voting even opens up in the first place so viewers actually have something to go off of.
What made Vu Linh Dan's elimination so terrible was that she was the best in her group and still didnt get immunity. And the reason she went home was because exactly 12 people ranked 42+ got immunity kicking her out of the top 41... like wtf 😭
The way I was more invested in your final lineup more than the original show's finale says a LOT abt the og universe ticket😭😭
To live in the world where Vũ Linh Đan debuts 😭😭😭
This is a thousand times better than the original and the suspense that was present and the excitement I felt when the top 16 is being announced one by one slowly is unreal, that is what a good survival show must at least have, the SUSPENCE. I felt sad when Yona and Narumi didn't make it even in this version and I screamed inside in happiness when Riel just squeezed through the top 8. Half of the debut lineup (Riel, Sunwoo, Sumin and Vu Linh Dan) here are my picks and I will definitely be stanning this GG since this group's maknae (Elisia) is at the least 14 and not 12.
Edit: The Maknae is not Linh Dan, it was Elisia
Another Edit: Hyeonju is also one of my picks
I can't disagree with that. Especially in vocals she trounces both.
And Yona is also one of my picks.
the way i was actually invested in your final lineup announcement 😭 😭 😭
Love the Reimagining. Watched the whole video, I was invested on it 😊
41:16 You have fixed one of the things I hate the most about survival shows (with temporary groups): the fact that most of them are terrible at showcasing most of the contestants to the public eye.
It doesn't matter if you make it to the group or not, but gaining public recognition or at least being a bit known to the public is. A lot of them are going to be idols and having a bit of public recognition beforehand can help them to have a more stable career in the long run.
@@emeraldx6467 I'm talking about all of the contestants who were in the last rounds
@@confusedgrapes349 Yea ik right!! Like we can't even compare how close the battles were!
To fix the age gap, I rather still debut Hyeonju than Seowon TBH.
Same sentiment. I pity Seowon.
Nah.
I pity UNIs for having to deal with Seowon
@@adriennemaerealingo8799 wdym? seowon deserved that spot from the moment she performed her spot was secured.
Vu linh Dan's well-known for joining The Voice Kids of Vietnam. She then made it to the final, where she placed third
The wait was so worthy for this video, absolute great job all round!
(I send you all my support for your film school's projects✊)
In my opinion it was a GREAT video and I agree with everything I hope Hwang Sieun debuts somewhere else
I love this version and how Aya Natsumi made it waaay far than what happened in the real show. ❤
I loved this outcome too! Well done! I was more intrigued and excited and how you put in the last 8 was more suspense than the show ever was.
I wish this group debuted so bad! it`s amazing!!!
Oh slay, I actually knew about that but my brain just refuses to retain information about The Unit
@@into_orbit so real that’s me with girls planet
Mid visuals is crazy…. I know you may not like her earlier flubs, you can’t deny that she’s super cute.
They clearly favoured her but she's talented so not many ppl will bash her, though not many ppl bias her either.)
Seowon and Yoona were probably good for the Koreans.
Global Group with SEA and other Asians would be cool.)
But like I said, I am pretty happy with UNIS and I guess I'll just be left to wonder what could've happened had things been different. UNIS's debut is soon! If it's not bothersome, it would be great to see ur opinions on it!! (Not forcing, just a suggestion.) I'm very excited for UNIS debut!!!! (My 3 predebut groups UNIS ILLIT BABYMONSTER all have Debut/ Ahyeon comeback + first mini album soon so I am so excited omg)
Sorry this is so long and thank u to anyone who has so much time to read this!! To the creator of this video, I want to thank u for all ur Universe Ticket videos and LOONA videos as well! I actually like the explanation that you made here so that others may be enlightened. We should be much more realistic than being more logical even if its for the sake of fairness because these kind of competition is not for trophies and medals but a business.
They need you in SBS rn
She didn't win ANY groups, what are you yapping about 😂
i literally didn't even watch the show, but still sat down and listened to you make ur own version of it 10/10 video
I didn't use the Ticket To You videos to evaluate, just their 1v1 and Revenge Battle fancams since the TTY videos don't provide a fair evaluation :)
@@into_orbit Ahhh okay that makes more sense.
Elisia for me deserves to win, regardless of how the competition went because of her raw talent. If she's not to debut, I'll be completely upset.
I’ve done my top 8 (with requirements)
1. The lineup must be at least 50% Korean
2. No members younger than 16
That being said, let’s get on with it
1. Gehlee Dangca
With Elisia out of the way (due to age) Gehlee easily takes top spot, considering they moved the finish line in order to avoid her getting second place before the final. She is a good visual and otherwise just solid throughout.
2. Vu Linh Dan
She can siiing. Still find it incredibly sad she immediately got out but she’s great. She’s also the maknae, being 6 days younger than Gehlee
3. Bae Haram
Confused why she didn’t make it, great dancing and stage presence, our first member over 18 on this list
4. Kim Soobin
Our second Korean (With Haram), and more just good at everything, she also turns 18 about 2 weeks from when I posted this comment
5. Kim Sumin
Another great member, good at dancing, and our second member at 18 years of age
6. Yona
I didnt realise she was 25!! Shes the oldest contestant in Universe Ticket, and generally good at everything. She is Chinese however, so we need more Koreans
7. Jin Hyeonju
There’s a Korean! She’s great at everything, but specifically vocals and Stage Presence, and 23 to boot, reaching our 18 year old requirement
8. Oh Daeun
We could’ve used Nana, but she isn’t Korean, so we can’t really squeeze her in.
I wish this was real, i love the final line up so much!
Elisia with sunwoo you say, yah I remember, that episode, at the recording studio, what a chemistry😓 and yeah, into the new world huh?
I'm sorry but hwang sieun being placed in high and bae haram in average was a joooooooke
not even that, most of the girls in mid level didn’t deserve to be in mid level. when i watched girls on top, it looked so much like a performance that would be focused if they were in high level so imagine my shock when i realized they were in mid level …
girls like daeun, soovin, yuri, and sieun shouldn’t have been placed in high level and should’ve been replaced by girls like gyoryeon, haram, sunwoo, sumin, etc. when i watch the level evaluation, it just felt as if some girls were being judged solely on one specific talent (for example : a girl will be placed in high/mid level solely bc she was a good dancer despite her lacking vocals which is wrong cause i think high level should represent girls who can sing and dance well simultaneously)
Yeah, Yona, Riel and Narumi in low doesn't make sense at all.
I'd like to think that in an alternate universe this is what actually happened
I think they should've done something for the eliminated contestants like "Redemption Battle" where they (the eliminated contestants) would form a specific number of team and they'd (obviously) battle so they (the winning team ) could go back into the competition. With this, they could've at least had the chance to (re)showcased their potential:((
Thank you for making me live in an utopia where the final lineup is older and Hyeonju and Sunwoo got to debut together 😭 in all seriousness it was a super well thought video ! loved it !
This made me feel so valid about how distraught i was over sunwoo not making lol
They should let you run their shows. This sounds so much less frustrating
Vu Linh Dan is also my pick as well as Gehlee and Elisia
I really like this re-imagining, though there are some intruders on that final top 20

Ideal imo
Plus she won “The voice Vietnam”
4. Nana - The experience and the popularity, plus above average skills in literally everything place her solidly in 4th
5. Bang Yunha - People keep excluding her, but while her vocals might not be the most impressive, her skills in dance and stage presence make up for it
6. Kim Sumin
She is one of the least promoted people on the show, and she still got so incredibly close. She suffered due to screen time and problems with the survival show, not due to a lack of skill or effort.
7. Hwang Sieun
Does she bring anything new? Not really. But she is above average in everything with the exception being maybe stage presence? Generally I don’t think it ruins the lineup to include her, especially as she placed 9th
8. Finally, Oh Yoona
She wasn’t featured too often in the show, but she did incredibly well on Catallena and Beautiful.
Honrable Mentions:
Kotoko: I think she’s great and all, one of my personal favourites, and I think she could debut at her current skill level, however, when Universe Ticket ended there was still a bit of a skill gap. Her rap in Superwoman was pretty solid though.
Gabi: Just not emotionally mature enough. That is why the producers dropped her as their favourite to debut to somebody who might debut if all else fails. Rather have Seowon than Gabi.
Seowon: Age is just too young
Lee Hyeonju: Fixes the age gap, plus she is already in Cignature, so Universe Ticket was kinda unnecessary ngl
Vanesya: Hit me one time baby, datsum baby (tell me, tell me) okmangopangojamanddass a baby (tell me, tell me)
In all seriousness, she’s kinda like Kotoko, great person, lacks skills

I REALLY enjoyed the reimagining, it was way better than whatever UT was going for
ALSO i want to mention when those producers were choosing members, it seems like they were kind of pushed to choose between some... (ex. main vocal either Elisia or Seowon) by the BTS team
Im sorry but the fact kotoko improved doesnt mean she deserves to debut. Vu linh dan and the Bae sisters got robbed
Yona should have debuted
omg ive been waiting for thisss lmao
The most unexpected performance on that entire show was Nan, imagine whole team went into low tiers but was on par or even better than high tiered team
What i enjoy doing when watching any some sort of reality shows is catching on what is rigged or not. I've been disappointed with a lot of shows already so I've always sort of expect it won't be a fair show. But my theory is, I think they only rigged four guaranteed to get in (Elisia, Nana, Kotoko, Yunha) and 16 girls they wouldn't mind getting in. I really like your version though, great song choices, and i love how you included the potential dramas too.
Thank you for your effort ❤❤❤
Just because you have talent doesn't mean you deserve to debut you also need charm and stage presence
I wish a lot of people would watch this before actually supporting anyone on their debut
others fact i found out about the show that seemed interesting :
1. it was revealed that the first round of voting (the voting that finalized the first ranks in the 1st episode), riel who was the 1st place ranker had only around 1k votes. the average votes for all the trainees was around 300-800 votes. that’s how unpopular the show was at first
2. vanesya mentioned in a interview that many girls from indonesia auditioned for universe ticket but she was the only one was accepted by the company (this later led to many fans believing the show had used vanesya as a prop for views since the beginning. why would they accept a girl who had no experience in dance, singing or rapping and doesn’t even speak korean or english in a beginner’s level ?)
3. sunwoo was the only trainee who stayed in the top 10 for the entire show but failed to debut by two ranks (the fact sbs even basically tried to hide sunwoo when the show was reaching to the finale to make her votes drop is crazy .. it was dumb to not capitalize her popularity and push her to debut since she was popular in the main markets like korea, japan and the us)
4. the pds basically used jang sua & minari as a punching bag / strategy to eliminate all the popular contestants in “as i told you” team, just for the next episode to reveal that both girls were eliminated .. sua gained so much hate from both global and korean fans, being called a “visual dozen” “pd pick” and fans even made rumors that her parents were paying the pds to keep her on the show ..
5. the fact the producer of the show mentioned how evil editing and favoritism ruins survival show yet this show had extreme favoritism towards the younger girls and the evil editing towards certain girls (sujin, gabi, yona, eunhyung) was crazy
Explained everything so well.
12:15 finally someone who realizes bae haram’s raw talent. 💗
Sorry if this is silly question that should have an obvious answer 😭 but for the 1:1 battles are the non-solo performances performing all together as a team or are they still performing individually just against someone from their designated opponent song/team?
As a team :)
27:41 since the theme is universe, I think star battle would sound nice!
I cant wait for UNIS DEBUT
Whoever is mad bc of this is literally narrow minded
@@zionreigo2593ok child, older is wiser ❤
@@emeraldx6467 they said "okay grandma"
@@MrNotBeastl I'll swap out seowon and kotoko because seowon is too young and kotoko lacks training. Sunwoo needed to debut. The lineup is too young so I'll prob swap out yunha or yoona to increase the average age
Instead of these members like kotoko they could hav selected sumin , hawang sieun, narumi 😅
38:20 FINALLY AYA NATSUMI AND PARK YEWON GETTING THEIR DESERVED TICKETS IN THEIR AS I TOLD YOU PERFORMANCE 😭
We all have our opinions. I respect that. The eight who debuted all earned it. I also have someone who wished got selected. Do I wish to replace someone from the eight? No. But i do wish for them to continue their kpop journey and hopes a company will see their potential and debut them.
You should do a line distribution for all of your songs. I would to see how fair they are
this lineup would be fire!!! i personally would love to change the 8th to Jayla, she deserved a better rank on this show
Here’s how i think 1:1 battle results would be like in your re-imagined version (sorry if i messed up how the non-solo battles work. Also this will be a VERY long comment so be prepared if you want to open it 😭)

Quartets -
Sneakers vs Queencard. Winner : Sneakers (3:2)
This was really well thought out.
Woah you have a lot of time to do this and to analyze everything. 😮
Omg zionreigo2593 needs to calm down
Who?
Linh Dan was 1 spot from making it in, idk why they didn’t add her if Alyssa and Natchayatorn dropped out
Girl that was just reality
I like your lineup more, maybe after the two year contract some of them might cross paths again and be in a same GG
OMG LOVE THIS VIDD SOO MUCH
time to reimagine the debut!
👀👀🤭
as long as my pick are selected
19:27 I thought I heard an anime meme but you said "over 900 thousand" LOL
Seowon is my Bias of Unis, im sad about that but Im happy vu linh dan and sunwoo where in your line up
no idea who the debut group is, looked them up and the fact the oldest member is born in 2001 and the second oldest is 2007 is wild...
My only issue is why you eliminated Kim Soobin so early :(
However, I liked your show concept. It is way better. My favorite from the show was Gyoryeon
All of my favs were eliminated right before the final😭
I really thought Bae Yeram would make it into the final in this version and then she got out😭 Even in the real show i thought she was gonna make it to the final then she got out😢
The Math is Mathing
