to be fair i think genre hopping could be less negative if they keep a consistent sound (music wise) with different concepts. House like you said is a really good genre to do this, because there are a bajillion sub genres of house out there and it would be easy to keep a similar sound while experimenting around too (personally i just find repetitive concepts boring after 2 to 3 times of it being done from the same group)

There is still an unofficial ban on Hallyu content and China is cracking down on the idol industry (particularly survival shows) as a whole due to internal issues, but individual Korean idols have been promoting in China such as Gaeul from Ive and Jessica Jung. iQIYI and SBS are also collaborating on the new controversial survival show Starlight Boys (the new Youth With You after it was banned) which features a full cast of Korean mentors and international trainees (but mostly Korean and Chinese) and previously had Lisa as a mentor.

late to the party but i wouldve loved for them to do a tommy february 6 / 80s synth or what dalshabet and wonder girls were doing towards the end end of their carrers, they could 100% fill the niche and get their identity set early on, the debut album coulde something like this: 1-title track* i feel you by wondergirls 2-summer kiss by clc 3-big baby baby by dalshabet 4-email more by tommy february 6 5-summerboy by lady gaga
