    Greentips aren’t technically armor piercing, but not very far off. We were using them against guys wearing sundresses for armor. Most fighting holes and positions we encountered were littered with pain killers and opiates…these guys would take rounds and not even feel them, so we started aiming from the chest to aiming for the pelvis for a debilitating shot instead of kill shot, obviously unless you were a sniper

      Yeah, too bad the Geneva Convention outlawed hollow points for warfare. Otherwise, it's like poking them with a 0.22" ice pick. If you don't hit them where it matters most, they'll just keep fighting on...
      They need to fix that (imo).

I’m a navy guy,not a seal but I was on the USS Coral Sea in the 80s & I remember seeing them onboard while we were deployed in the Med. I was wondering if you might could tell me why one of them was standing quarter deck watch with OOD in the middle of the night in Spain. I was going ashore & had request permission & here’s a seal with his arm in a sling in dress whites, gold trident was hard to miss. Well he gave me a stink eye look & said granted. I was ships company. Any how why the hell was a seal standing quarter deck watch.?

      I have spent many a 10+hr workday mulling this over, the cool concept.
      I postulate that cool people are frequently in possession of finely honed skills, often through far more difficult work and sacrifice than I know I personally just didn't consider.
      Any person who is a true master of their "thing" interests a human at a base primal level.
      *says the random catowl dude on the internet*
      The farther ive analyzed just my own experiences with the plethora of awesome and equally idiotic yet still funny awesome the internet offers, is that the masters of all crafts are always in situations where success is the only actual outcome. The other outcomes are death, very painful recovery and mental strains, far beyond what I could imagine.
      As with badass healtcare workers or constructions trades of all types.
      The person always offering a tip before jumpin on a employee is usually the one that maybe was a supervisor a but too young and maybe as we all do went a bit hard on what likely wasnt life or death issues.
      I'm still rolling it around my headspace. I think it drives the human need *again, rando internet guy, literally not trying to say this has any truth* to share and propagate the various info humans would have needed for survival back in the earliest days of humankind.
      Feel free to further the concept, since I'm no psych nor am I often particularly unique. Im sure someone has a much more learned and actual science based assessment.

    It's crazy to hear the difference between SEAL and Marine. The marines are like swinging a sword and the SEALs really are a scalpel. I like how he literally assessed everything before he fired a round but once they did start fighting it made much more difference than just firing off. Although someone did have to respond immediately so having the marines affords that opportunity. Has to be wild to be 16 scalpels in a sea of 25,000 swords I know everyone is supposed to be NAVY but seems like only SEALS really acknowledge the NAVY counterpart.

    • @MichaelKng-fk5jk
      @MichaelKng-fk5jk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Are you honestly listening to the same. SEALS, no tactical awareness, white light (WHF), no running water (WHF), hardship of sleeping rough (WHF). Mass engagement of a single target dropping 60 yards out after they ran, blaming green spot, no learn to shoot. By every Marine account during the Iraq invasion the SEAL teams were a bind that needed wet nursed logistically and; didn't measure up in combat. They are great at swimming for miles, navigating underwater but, then put sailors in a land conflict, honestly how are they ever going to rise even despite the best equipment. While the Marines are the poorest equipped of the US Military. As a Brit soldir, I'm happy with my USMC brothers beside, we can work well together. Ever put a SEAL team in the mix, it's get them the F away from us. Far too many friendly fire incidents to mention in Afghanistan by reckless fools

    • @ryand4533
      @ryand4533 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MichaelKng-fk5jk You have to take that with a grain of salt. My brother was in the Army for the first 8 years of the war. He said a lot of people would refuse to go out with because they were a bunch of morons that got people killed🤷‍♂️ My sister also Army said the same exact thing and they didn’t serve together. She was in Afghanistan he was in Iraq. Every branch thinks they are gods gift to the people. Like all things in life I’m sure the reality is in the middle somewhere.

    I'm more wondering where all the single real men like this are? Where are these guys are hiding? Cuz God knows I can't find one! Were are they hiding or they all taken? Or are they like parking spots the good ones are taken and the rest are handicapped lol love your interviews Shawn and yes I'm a female with I swear I have a few male chromosomes. (Retired Crane Operator) Love your interviews you really need to have Ammon Bundy candidate for governor of Idaho we need your help. Nino Rodriguez had him on his show watch his interview it'll give you some insight. But hey I'm part Italian I cook from scratch I know how to make my man look good among other things I'm single act now before this limited time is over! LOL

    Glory . Amazing story . I was in 4th grade pen palling you guys . It’s shame though the pentagon lied about the WMDs. Fuck Saddam tho. You need to have someone on that’s involved in Yemen
