I like it I like the bear on the end its gives the out line but ties the handle by giving it a hook for hand instead of the round pommel you get like a marrtiini high sandi grind looks like it could be slicing machine as always got to love a pukkos
Such a beautiful area! Breathtaking beauty! Winter will soon be upon you, wow, what a beautiful knife! Love the light colored wood, the carving is spectacular too. I really like the blade, the form and size looks perfect for a field knife, love it! Great review, thank you for sharing! 👍
Oh yes, Im very impressed by this! GREAT handle. Beautiful! Yet as one can see, highly practical tool. Also not destroying the wallet. Thanx for watching, have a great day my friend!
We are having the same weather in Central Scotland. Beautiful puukko! Rowan trees ward off witches and evil spirits...at least here. I bought a Marttini Kierenki on your recommendation and its a fabulous knife. Good health!
You're going to cost me a fortune!😂 I love it, the handle and the blade go so well together. Also really love the log in the background. It looks a bit like a carving you might see on a native American totem pole.(An eagle, i can see the eye sockets and a beak and i haven't been drinking!!).😅
North America has a tree that is called mountain ash. Looks like the the European tree. I know a spot on my father’s farm that has some of these trees. One has a big burl that would maybe make beautiful looking handles. I am going to have to plan a tree harvesting expedition someday. I have a pack basket made from woven strips of black ash, I also have made dog sleds & canoe paddles from white ash. North America also has an Emerald Ash Borer that is killing ash trees on this side of the Atlantic Ocean.
Nice! Thanx for the info! Pihlaja considered kind of a holy tree in Finland, has many roles in Kalevala f.e. Thats why many want to have it as a garden tree. Thx for watching my friend, have a great day!
Hi! I bought these couple of years ago, from a local hardware store. Ranch is the label. These were very cheap, but soooo good. Bought 7 pairs at the time, lol😅
I wear 11 size gloves😃. I dont think they make these anymore. Should've bought more. They were in rest sale discount. 10e a pair. Thx for stopping by Osmo, have a great day!
This puukko is amazing! And so beautiful too!
Oh yes, Its a beauty allright!

Yes! Rowan tree (Pihlaja in Finnish) has the same attributes here. Thats why many have it as garden tree.
Thanx for watching!
The Kierinki rocks!

Hahaha, Im sorry about that🤣 .
And now that you mentioned it, it does actually look like a totem:)
Thanx for watching my friend, have a great day!
Ash is a very durable wood, so I expect the handle will be robust as well as beautiful and comfortable.
Hi! I think its not Ash (saarni in finnish), which is really hard wood.. Mountain-Ash is a bit misleading.
Or did you mean precicely Mountain-ash (pihlaja), with the red berries.
Never had a knife made of that wood. Very interesting…
Yes, you raise a good point, so I looked up the respective Janka hardnesses for Rowan - 1,690 - and Ash - 1,320.
So it is certainly a hard wood.
Wow, didnt know its so hard wood, cool! Thanx for sharing!@@dongkhamet1351
